A friend introduced me to this little gem about a year ago. I later moved to Happy Valley and was delighted to discover a location very close to me in Damascus. There are SO many pizza joints out there and you probably want to know what sets this place apart. One word: the crust. I can't honestly describe it, but there's just something special about it. It's not too thick or too thin, but has a spectacular crispy/crunchiness about it. The sauce isn't too spicy, too sweet or too bland. They offer every topping imaginable. Okay, not sweet corn, but I lived in England for a while, so maybe I've developed odd tastes. One thing I will suggest: a schtick. If you're not afraid of carbs, 99 cents will buy you the most delectable, hot, fluffy, buttery, garlic-y thing you can imagine. Thinking about sharing one? Don't. Relationships are fragile enough. Lastly, don't come to Sparky's for the ambiance. It's about good pizza (did I mention their schticks?) at a good price. Ask about their specials and coupons too. This pizza is very good at a great price. The crust isn't too thin nor too thick. It's just right and the toppings taste real. It also too about 10 minutes from when I called in the order to the pizza ready for pickup. Definitely compatible, if not better than Domino's or Pizza hut. read more

I called to make an order and a younger sounding male answered. I asked him some questions about what they offer and pricing. I agreed on what I wanted and he said great. It will be about 20-25 minutes. I said great what's my total? He stated ya know it's almost Christmas I will do it all for 18.99 I agreed and said thank you, know my pizza was well over that alone. I went in to pick up the pizza and the two gentleman that were there greeted me asked how they could help. I eventually got my order and they even through in extra ranches and sent me on my way. I would be scared to ever eat here again!!! Ordered 2 pizzas. The chicken was so covered in black pepper I couldn't eat it. Called to complain. They quickly made a new one with no chicken. The second pizza was all meat but had very little. When asked to remake that with double meat (and I offered to pay for the extra meat). They did not add more meat. When I got home to eat it, I took a bite and bit into something VERY hard. A second bite to find the thing stabbing me in the cheek and I pulled out a bit of cheese that was coating over a clear push pin. They told me they don't even use push pins. When asked to have owners call us, they refused. 1 week later - still no apology and only offered to replace pizza. read more

We had heard about their pizza from a couple people and since we drive by it everyday me and my wife decided to give it a try. Seemed to be priced fair so we placed the order customized to our liking. After a few minutes I go in and guy who is to give us our pizza asks what we ordered, I told him and he grabbed it. He never opened it so I could see it and I didn't really think I needed to as its pizza and what they do. So we drive 15 minutes to our house, got comfortable and after a few minutes decided the check it out. So we open it to getting the wrong pizza entirely. It has literally everything I do not get on mine. So I wanted to sit down and watch the UFC and decided I'll just call them and tell them the mistake. So I call and I was informed I could come get a new one. Which is a 30 minute round trip and I really didn't want to after drinking a beer or the fact that's it's 30 minutes round trip. The next option I could get another pizza the next time for 50% off. Not the next time the same pizza will be free. No the next time, after my first time which is now, will be 50% off. She says that's the policy. That's about as ridiculous as I've heard in some time. So my 2 choices are both telling me I am just a number and they could really give a rip if I come back or not. Really that's pretty messed up to take care of a new or any customer like that. I deal in customer service everyday and 1 unhappy customer is 1 too many. Now that cannot always mean every customer but was my request worth losing a customer over? It's a simple thing: you place the order, you pay for the order, then you pick up the order and hopefully you get to eat the order. But when you screw up and it's not the customer who is at fault make it right and make them whole again. Not by returning money but by giving them a free pizza they actually order. read more
