This place is so awesome !! Your ice cream is made right in front of you. The process is amazing. Hand made frozen ice cream made to order-- nitrogen, frozen. It's a must visit just for the experience at at least, even if you don't like ice cream.

Given the limited number of ice cream options around & the convenience of this spot near our hotel, we came to Sparky's a couple times. I'll lead with - there's plentiful ice cream flavor options, which is great! The downside is, because this is nitrogen based on how they make it, the flavors have to be mixed. That's ok - even mixed you can find some good combos. The ice cream comes out in a timely manner (assuming minimal wait from the line; we never had issues). Ice cream texture is smooth and actually really good, especially with some of the mix-ins! Decent price too. The only thing I really wonder is - how sustainable is working with nitrogen? Even with a low crowd, it seemed pretty labor intensive. Just something I had in the back of my mind coming here. PROS: - plentiful flavor options - ice cream is smooth and tasty CONS: - is this method of preparation sustainable? - flavors have to be mixed

Vegan ice cream in Key Largo! Sparky's offers a variety of vegan flavors with almond and oat milk options. Just a heads up, though--the ice cream melts pretty fast. I had to enjoy mine in the car instead of risking a mess. I would come back!

Absolutely love this place! Both the owners and the workers are so nice and welcoming. I cannot have dairy whatsoever and Sparky's offers nitrogen ice cream that is made with almond milk that you watch them make right in front of you with just about any flavour that you can ask for. It's absolutely amazing and I'm glad I can finally have a treat since I can't ever have anything.. My family loves sparky's ice cream even made with normal milk. It's great! The boba is great and you can choose what level of sweetness you want which is great. I normally hate tapioca but these were flavored and not tapioca boba which was great. The owners are very involved with the community which is good to know:)

Good ice cream and the service is good, the environment is clean and the nitrogen is cool.

Amazing ice cream! Nice staff. So many options, honestly too many options which causes the line to take forever but worth the wait.

Well a usual 45 minute drive turned into 3 hours but that's a usual thing whenever it's a special event in the keys. Plenty of parking options even if you had to walk a bit and the police officers were there to help crossing the Main Street. a-okay! For $5 entrance I didn't expect something like a good festival in SoBe but I certainly didn't think it was going to be filled with vendors selling t-shirts and bracelets made in China. Full of vendors instead of having local artists there to showcase all the talent in Southern Florida and the Keys. There were only a handful of actual artisans available. Most of the other ones were t-shirts, bracelets, hats that have nothing to do with the festival. I did appreciate the local hot sauce, gourmet popcorn and ice cream vendors. Kudos. Now let's talk about the food options. There were too few Options for soooooo many people. I literally stood in line for almost an hour for a lemonade so just believe I left before standing in another line. It was so muddy and people with strollers is not the perfect mix. It was disorganized and definitely didn't represent anything in the ads. Exit and will never go back. Do yourself a favor and don't waste your time or gas. You'd have a better time just going to Gilbert's Tiki.

Their pizza is thin crust like NY style, but that's where the similarities end. I found the crust a bit flavorless and the sauce lacking in spices as well. The pepperoni and meatball pizzas were well topped, but the spinach garlic pizza we ordered had barely anything on it. For a large pizza, I'd say each slice had 2-3 small spinach leaves, tops. It was extremely sparse considering you pay around $3 for extra toppings. It's edible for sure but if you want a solid slice of NY pizza, I'd skip this spot.

I could say this has been the worst dining experience I've had in a long time. Not only was the service horrible, but they hardly had any of the items on the menu. I remember the meatballs, pizza and rolls being amazing so we ordered that. The meatballs had potential but they must have been frozen and were warm on the outside but the middle was cold. There was no way of getting the waiter to tell him since we waited about 25 minutes to get our order in. Mind you we were the only ones in the restaurant. The rolls were not edible. The pizza was ok, but the crust had no salt whatsoever so you couldn't eat it. I was going to try the dessert but opted not to since it would have taken half hour more. It's such a shame because they were so good. Never again. I usually do not leave bad reviews, but this was just total neglect of a once good establishment.
