Totally forgot it was Father's Day so it was a little busy. The food was delicious and the coffee was so good! Everyone that works there was so nice and dogs are allowed so that was awesome! Can't wait to go back there again

Super cute coffee spot on way home. Caught them just before they closed.

Super cute hidden gem of a cafe! I stumbled upon this spot on my way home from The Keys. Funny story, I was looking for the Little Free Library which happens to be located at the cafe. But I also needed coffee for my 3 hour drive home. Midway Cafe & Coffee Bar is open daily @ 7am-2pm. I literally caught them just in time at 1:45pm right before closing. The spot is mad cute with a whimsical vibe and lots of fun colors. They sell cute merch and food. There is plenty of seating out on the back patio and indoors. They offer food and drinks. I got a small 12oz Almond Joy Latte: Chocolate, coconut & almond latte with whipped cream. It was good and did the job. Happy accidental cafe find.

Happened to find this great breakfast café on Yelp and we could not have been more pleased. This lil place sits right off the Overseas Highway and offers a great menu of delightful breakfast and lunch items. In addition they offer gluten free items, dairy free and vegan options. Their espresso bar is top notch with so many options. I went with the Breakfast Burrito which was mighty filling and of course I had to try their Matcha. Prices were very reasonable and affordable. We were able to sit outside on their colorful and cute patio. Temps were perfect at the end of October. My breakfast was very satisfying and flavorful. Service was "Florida Friendly". I probably should have grabbed a slice of their Key Lime Pie, but now I have a reason to return in the future.

Service here is super friendly! Order at the counter and choose indoor or outdoor dining and all food and beverages are delivered to you. We had breakfast-omelet with Swiss, mushrooms, and caramelized onions - delicious and packed with veggies. We also had breakfast burritos at the table - large portions yet they could have benefited from a pop of spicy zest if that's your preference. The atmosphere is brightly painted with lots of tropical island decor. Great mimosas and coffees.

We rode bikes from the hotel to this little breakfast spot up the road. It's such a cute little place - it's very cramped inside, so we settled for the cute little picnic tables outside. The wait wasn't long at all and the service was friendly despite being the busiest place probably in forty miles. Food was decent, but nothing too crazy to write home about. It's definitely worth a stop in during your vacation!

Love this place! It's colorful and so cute! Great bakery! Food was great! And service was simple but good...

Very clean with Florida vibes. The food was delish. The outdoor seating was lovely. You order at the register when you first arrive, before seating, and you best have your order precise. I ordered the egg scramble and was not disappointed. The waitstaff was friendly. The portions were large. Easy parking. Nice stop!

Cute little stop for breakfast with indoor and outdoor seating. Service was 2 stars (coffee was cold and our server never checked on us after she brought out food - yet we saw another lady busting it for her tables!). Husband had the burrito and I had the egg and Brie sandwich on a croissant. Food was good. Coffee not worth it. Service was abysmal despite leaving a hefty tip in the tip jar, LOL.

Cool atmosphere and nice staff. Food was alright but uneventful. All the potato's were a little undercooked and hash browns were mushy. Drinks were medium as well. Got 6 different ones and like 2 of them

Midway Cafe was my breakfast stop every morning while I was vacationing in Islamorada, FL for a week! Everything is amazing - food, coffee, smoothies, service. It's always SO busy... for a good reason. The line moves very quickly though. Just make sure to grab a menu when you first walk in so you can peruse it and know what you want when you get to the register!

A gem of a find driving back to Miami. Plenty of tables ot eat inside and outside. Service was impeccable and the coffee, breakfast sandwich, and banana utensils muffin was delicious. Plenty of menu items you will find something you love. We dont come to the area often but when we do we will definitely make this a stop again.

The blessed pie.

I will stop every single time for a slice (or two!) of Midway Cafe's key lime pie! So fresh, so from scratch, so full of flavor, so impressed by the towering meringue! This cute little roadside cafe is warm and welcoming with seating both inside and outside. You can even shop a little too and the staff is super friendly. A good spot on highway one!

We had…read moreactually ordered delivery from here earlier in the trip, so we already knew the breakfast was going to be good. I ordered The Turtle Breakfast with eggs over easy, added an extra egg, sausage, and bacon, and swapped the toast for a side of biscuits and gravy. Everything was cooked perfectly. The bacon was thick-cut, salty goodness, the sausage was packed with flavor, and the biscuits were light and fluffy. The sausage gravy was some of the best I've had, rich, hearty, and loaded with flavorful sausage. Whether you're staying in Islamorada or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by Green Turtle Inn for breakfast. It's a great way to start the day in the Keys.

To eat we ordered the sautéed mussels and then I ordered the traditional Greek salad for my dinner and he ordered the farmhouse pasta. Overall the food was good. The potato salad in the Greek salad was random but good I enjoyed it. It also had a good portion of chicken on it. My bf liked the pasta but not the sauce (aka broth) he said it tasted like ramen with the broth and I couldn't agree more. Not the best pasta dish we've had. I will say our service was awkward. Although our bartender was friendly she seemed very drunk. She was dropping glasses, slurring and just seemed out of it -- but not THAT out of it because our ordered came out correct so there's that!

We then moved upstairs and grabbed seats at the bar. We ordered the peel and eat shrimp, calamari, and conch fritters. Everything was perfect and came out quickly despite the whole place buzzing. After two more mojitos, we moved to our table upstairs on the balcony. The views were amazing, and the live music on the beach made the whole experience even better. My wife ordered her go-to yellowtail "Lazy Way," which is a must. I had the stuffed whole yellowtail. Everything was excellent, and the portions were abundant. Oh, and did I mention the bread basket, complete with a mini loaf of banana bread! If you haven't been here yet, you need to add it to your list!

Everything had either too much mayonnaise or too much sauce or was overcooked. It was like they're too worried about the quality of the ingredients or the food to let it stand on its own. This could also be as a result of the cooking of the region. It would've been great to have something light and fresh. I did order a Caesar salad salad, and the dressing tasted like somebody edited ranch dressing. There was no anchovy flavor. The servers are nice, the prices aren't bad, and there is plenty of parking if you don't go on the weekend. The view is nice as well. Other than that, I really don't know if I would eat here again.

We stayed at Cheeca Lodge to celebrate our daughter's 7th birthday after having such a wonderful…read moreexperience here last year. We were excited to come back, which made this stay even more disappointing. The first day, I found a dead cockroach in the corner of our room when I went to turn off the floor lamp. Living in South Florida, I know an occasional bug can happen, especially during the rainy season, so I didn't think much of it. The next morning, my wife saw a live cockroach in the bathroom. I killed it and, again, assumed it had simply found its way inside. That night, however, around 1:30 a.m., I got up to use the bathroom and found more than 20 small cockroaches crawling throughout the shower, with others on the bathtub, sink, and bathroom floor. My wife woke up and helped me kill as many as we could. After that, she was so uncomfortable and anxious that she couldn't go back to sleep, worried they would end up in the bed or inside our luggage. The next morning, I went straight to the front desk and spoke with Jessica. She was professional, helpful, and genuinely apologetic. She moved us to Room 207. We packed everything we owned and relocated. Our original reservation was for a suite with a separate bedroom and full kitchen, which we had specifically booked for the extra space and privacy. The replacement room was a standard hotel room with two queen beds. While it wasn't ideal, we understood it was only for one night and accepted it. Unfortunately, once we moved all of our belongings into that room, we discovered it had not been cleaned. There were used towels, garbage still in the trash can, furniture out of place, and even a bloody tissue left in the toilet that had not been flushed. I returned to the front desk and spoke with Jessica again. She immediately apologized and moved us to a third room. Once again, it was a standard oceanfront hotel room rather than the suite we had reserved, but at that point we simply wanted a clean place to stay. Jessica also assured us that management would contact us to discuss the situation and make things right. That never happened. Between dealing with the cockroach infestation, getting almost no sleep, and moving from room to room to room, we lost more than three hours of our vacation. Instead of enjoying our daughter's birthday, we spent the morning packing, unpacking, and worrying about whether insects had gotten into our belongings. What disappointed me the most wasn't just the bugs or even the dirty replacement room--it was the complete lack of follow-up from management. No one ever reached out, despite assuring us they would. Issues can happen at any property. What separates a luxury resort from an average hotel is how those issues are handled. Cheeca Lodge is marketed and priced as an upscale resort, and guests rightfully expect a higher standard of cleanliness, service, and customer care. Unfortunately, that standard was not met during our stay. Jessica deserves recognition for doing everything she could within her authority. She was courteous, empathetic, and tried her best to help. Sadly, the lack of response from management overshadowed her efforts. Upon checkout today I spoke with Jessica and she said that management should had reached out to me yesterday which they did not, and assured us that we would hear from them today which we never did again. We came back because we loved our stay last year. Sadly, this experience has made us seriously reconsider whether we'll return. ***After checkout I gave the hotel management an opportunity to reach out to me which they did not. Later that day I multiple reviews across different platforms and emailed multiple accounts ya listed on the resorts website. A few Hours later management finally reached out to me. I spoke with Sean who was apologetic and took full accountability for the lack of effort from his management staff. Sean did the right thing and took care of us.
