We are new to the area & looking for our closest neighborhood pizza joint. Well, we found it! This is a locally-owned shop, that's clean & friendly. We wanted to see where it was & meet the people making our food. So glad we did. Talked with the owner & he offered us a soda while we waited. The guys working there were having their own pizza for dinner. Always a good recommendation. The taste? Well, I loved mine & ate half of a medium; a lot for me. Pizza is pretty good but service has issues. Ordered pizza from here for years but recently have had trouble getting exactly what I order. When I reached out to the store to inform them of my issues, I was told that Mike was the only one in the store and that he was busy. There was no offer to correct the wrong pizza delivered to me. I ordered the white pizza and added ricotta cheese because that's how I like it. The pizza was so delicious and flavorful, it was not thin or New York style. It was juicy with TONS of cheese. the only thing I didn't like was the chunks of garlic used in this pizza. I am a garlic lover however it is off-putting to bite into chunks of garlic with almost each bite. BUT that will not stop me from returning and ordering that same exact pizza. read more

Saw the reviews about this place and decided to try it. I got a white pizza that was suppose to be a half and half, but somehow the toppings ended up on the whole pizza. That really wasn't a deal breaker, and aside from that I thought it tasted amazing. They are generous with toppings and priced comparable to anyone else if not a little cheaper. I ,also had their garlic knots which were amazing. They used alot of garlic which I liked and they were fresh and soft. The marinara dipping sauce was also very good as well. All in all aside from the toppings mishap it's a great place I will be eating at again. read more

We decided to give Sparrow's Pizza a try tonight and ordered a Hawaiian pizza and a deluxe pizza, along with some wings.....and it was seriously worth trying. They're a NY style pizza place. Came home from work and had discount coupons hanging on my door from Sparrow's and decided to try them for the first time and I gotta say, I am SO pleased. Great pizza, great service. Crust is pretty awesome if you're into crispy stone baked crust. Can be hard to find this quality without having a burnt taste accompany the flavor, but "Sparrow's" nailed it. On top of that my husband and I ordered not too long before close and customer service was still on point, friendly and quick delivery. No complaints here. Missing salad, missing breadsticks, missing dipping sauces paid for, extra random pizza, then proceeded to call the manager and manager told me "nothing I can do sorry guess just order more food because I don't know how to refund your money so just pay for more food" and then continued to hang up in my face. VERY DISAPPOINTED with this restaurant. Never have I ever had the OWNER/MANAGER tell me he did not know how to refund my money and then tell me to just buy more food? (After we saved for a week to be able to eat out one night) And refuses to have a driver just fix the order when it's only a 2.3 mile drive. And HANG UP in my face? This is just sickening. read more

Nice amount of toppings, you dont feel completly glutineous, but totally satisfied. Wings are also meaty and well sauced. But the garlic knots are amazing. Super garlicy, have a bite that you can only get from fresh garlic. The marinara is the perfect compliment- not too sweet, not to tangy. Gotta give this place a try. We googled pizza delivery when we checked into the Residence Inn on a stormy and rainy night. I felt bad even asking someone to deliver food. We only wanted one cheese pizza , not much of a delivery, especially on a stormy night. They said total was 11.00 and would be 15/20 minutes. Didn't expect much BUT WOW it was AMAZING!!!! Sparrows pizza is amazing! I read good reviews from an ad being shown on Facebook, google, and yelp so I had to try this place out. It was a little hard to find the place because it's kind of hidden around some pho restaurants and it's kinda of behind a 7 eleven. When I walked inside the owner greeted me and the amazing smell filled my nose with hints of dough and sauce. I love that kind of smell so much. It's a little place, but they make some good pizza. Today I went in for the first time and just due to it being so so so hot outside it was kinda hot inside since the pizza ovens don't help the situation. I walked in and ordered a 10 inch Hawaiian pizza, and I sat and waited so the owner told me I could have a drink on the house. That was really nice and I really appreciated it. I waited about I'd say 10-12 mins tops and I took my pizza home. I have nothing but good things to say about this place, and when they say don't judge a book by it's cover, this is definitely one of those situations. The crust was crispy on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside, the sauce had great taste and seasoning to it, the cheese was super gooey, the ham was delish, and the pineapple was juicy and yummy. All the flavors really complemented each other and I honestly wish I had bought a bigger pizza because I could have kept eating more, so I'll definitely be back for more! read more

Just finished eating another wonderful pepperoni pizza from Sparrow's. I was waiting for my order and Michael, the owner , told me he had bought a new modern pizza oven to handle the volume better and for more consistent quality. I think the pizza was even better than before when it was cooked in the old oven!. It was amazing, just like pizza used to be and should be as the owner himself is always there. That's important; I don't feel as if some large chain restaurant workers care as much as an owner does... that's just my take. Friendly service and good food! We had the medium deluxe pizza. I ate half of it by myself! It was hot and tasty. All fresh ingredients with good flavor. You have to try their new menu item - cinnamon donut holes. My daughter are half of them by herself! The cinnamon sauce is sooo good. We decided to eat in since we were in the way to an appointment. There I invited space for seating but several customers came in to pick up their order, delivery pizza were flying out of the door, and the phone rang several times while we were there.
