Said there was a 24 hr "sanitation" period and that we could either reschedule (for the next day after we were already there) and wait the 24 hrs or buy new jewelry. She then said she'd "waive" a $25 processing fee that we were supposed to pay to reuse jewelry. Meanwhile, no one of this information is provided on their website as true. She was trying to scam us. We came back less than 24 hrs later after rescheduling, and they sanitized the jewelry then, even though she insisted they had to keep it to autoclave it for 24 hrs prior to piercing. It was a total scam. I will never return to MOLA again. She should be trained in how to treat customers. The girl that did the piercing was great and very sweet. There seems to be an "organized chaos" method for how the premium piercing rings are displayed which is off putting. There was limited information (when asked) pertaining to metal quality which is important for people with sensitivity. I've patronized this establishment in the past and was disappointed in the somewhat lackadaisical attitude of staff today. It only takes one bad encounter to lose a customer and generate a bad review. I will gladly spend more money with the more professional establishment West Ashley...that can also speak for the quality of their piercing selections.
