There seems to be an "organized chaos" method for how the premium piercing rings are displayed which is off putting. There was limited information (when asked) pertaining to metal quality which is important for people with sensitivity. I've patronized this establishment in the past and was disappointed in the somewhat lackadaisical attitude of staff today. It only takes one bad encounter to lose a customer and generate a bad review. I will gladly spend more money with the more professional establishment West Ashley...that can also speak for the quality of their piercing selections. The staff here is extremely helpful and knowledgeable and can help you find exactly what you are looking for someone else as a gift or for yourself or answer just about any jewelry or fashion related questions you may have. This is one of my favorite places in the Charleston area to purchase jewelry and I have always had a great experience every time I have shopped here and enjoy coming here to look at all the cool items that they have in stock.

I elected to get a nose piercing and Chelsea helped guide me through the whole process. It was soooo much easier and less painful than I had expected it to be. My only reasoning for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the $20 cleaning spray should be included with the price of the piercing/jewelry. I went for a free piercing and ended up spending over $100 on what I thought was a $65 piece of jewelry when you added the cleaning solution, tax, and tip.

We are long time out-of-town customers and wear the pieces we have purchased often. My last purchase was Michael's design/handcrafted destination bracelet which I rarely remove. Basically I add other jewelry pieces along with the hand hammered cuff enhanced the magnolia tree and quarter moon. I enjoy every piece I've purchased (including my guy's bracelet). We both are complimented on the quality and uniqueness which is another reason we continue adding to buy from Michael and Tiffany. We have rarely needed to have any repairs but when necessary the quality of the repair and the fair price makes it worth waiting to go to this family owned business.

Said there was a 24 hr "sanitation" period and that we could either reschedule (for the next day after we were already there) and wait the 24 hrs or buy new jewelry. She then said she'd "waive" a $25 processing fee that we were supposed to pay to reuse jewelry. Meanwhile, no one of this information is provided on their website as true. She was trying to scam us. We came back less than 24 hrs later after rescheduling, and they sanitized the jewelry then, even though she insisted they had to keep it to autoclave it for 24 hrs prior to piercing. It was a total scam. I will never return to MOLA again. She should be trained in how to treat customers. The girl that did the piercing was great and very sweet. This was the downtown Charleston location
