For the record I've been a customer for over a year now (gel pedicures),I typically do my own Gel X nails at home because YES, I am picky, particular and love for my nails to be uniform. Because it's my bday, I decided to get a full set along with my pedicure ;-/. This is the second time I've gotten my nails done at Spataneous, One regular gel mani and today's full set + gel.... not expecting the salon to care and utilize the same 2 hours I take at home, but I do expect more than what I was given... my nails look like I did them at home. The acrylic is thick and uneven and each nail looks different and/or lopsided. Rather than polish the full nail and use a thin brush with remover to remove any that gets on The skin, they'd rather skimp the nail so there's less work/cleanup. Pure laziness and lack of thoroughness! For $55, whether the appt was close to the salon closing time or not, I should love my nails. I want a refund given I have to go home, file them down and also re-polish.... My pedicure is decent but I had to ask for the nails to be filed evenly and also pointed out dead skin that was missed.... For $45, I shouldn't have to critique. I should be able to relax and trust that I will love the end result... back to the mani lol.... I was trying my best to be polite so decided to play the bday card "I need then perfect, my bday is tomorrow". The tech LITERALLY responded and stated I've mentioned my bday 10 times already and other people have birthdays too lol. I said well I'm saying it so you can do better without being micromanaged about the manicure job lol... I was done after the comment but still tipped. This is MY LAST VISIT. please Read and trust the reviews, they're all valid.... Plz find somewhere else to go! there are two other salons in the same vicinity... I've only tried 2 of 3; the salon nearest the five guys is equally bad (they rush and have thick gel polish tag doesn't cure evenly ;-(.... read more

AVOID! I called to make an appointment. I was given one price over the phone. When I was done with my appointment they had increased the price by more than triple what they said when booking the appointmenT. For reference - I got a fill in. All minimalist manicures are NOT created equal! Went to SpaTaneous Nail Salon for the gel design in the first pic and got a very unprofessional result. Picture 2 is SpaTaneous' poor replication of my requested design. Picture 3 is the gel I peeled off the next morning. I should have nixed my request when the three techs looked unsure and began to "conference" when I showed the design. Tech 1 straight up bowed out, while Tech 2 appeared a bit flustered but switched from my pedicure to my manicure. Then, Tech 2 calls over Tech 3 and Tech 3 asks to see the design, says something to Tech 2 and walks away. NAIL TECHNICIANS: If you don't have the skill set to perform a task, don't make feeble attempts and then charge a customer for your shoddy work. Especially if it requires skilled, "free-hand" designs. The pedicure was great, but I will obtain these services elsewhere as I doesn't sit well with me that the Tech excepted a task she did not have the skill to execute and had no pride in the quality of her work. DO NOT RECOMMEND! I went in on friday for a full set today is monday and I have one nail that completely lifted up and fell off and 2 other ones that are lifted and hurt. I have gel on my toes and one has completely peeled off . IN A THREE DAY TIME FRAME. I called before going back to confirm that they will fix at no charge and he told me I could come in . I get there and he tells me I need a fill . I declined and he went back and forth 10 mins telling me I need a reciept for them to honor it if I get just the 3 nails fixed . I even showed him the transaction of $155 plus tip for both people on my bank account and he said he still can't confirm it was me there . . NO STARS ! I have been looking for a decent nail salon near my home that wasn't too outrageously expensive. This industry has definitely changed. My daughter asked me if I wanted to get a pedicure so I didn't change words with her. We went to this salon on a Saturday afternoon around 4 pm. There was no one waiting in the reception area however there were plenty of clients being serviced. The salon is impressive. The place is large with pedicure stations along both walls. Never seen so many. The nail stations are in the middle. Again never seen so many. They have a lot of technicians working as well. Nice ambiance. Crystal chandaliers, glass and the ceiling looks like the sky. I did not have to wait. I was seated very quickly. The pedi chairs are very comfortable for a large sized person like myself. There is a shelf on each side. I didn't have to strain to maneuver my feet. Rose is a gem in this establishment. She gives the best feet and leg massages. They use a sea salt scrub if you are getting the deluxe. It feels wonderful. They then add a mud mask and wrao your legs in hot towels before they add oil for the massage. There was no dead skin left on my toes or bottom of my feet and her polish game is on point. Not sloppy. I was impressed. My feet felt like butter. My left toe had peeling skin from gout. She didn't hurt my foot. Big points for that. I was given a bottle of water while my feet were drying. I will be back again. read more

I use to be a regular at Spataneous years ago, but stopped coming due to their high prices compared to other shops in the area. Usually I go to Cleopatra's, but they were full so I bit the bullet & checked out Spataneous. I was seated immediately after arrival as there were only a couple of customers being serviced. A man (Obaba?/Abao) at station 13 did my nails & while they turned out nice, it took very long for a short natural set, no takeoff. This same process usually takes about 45 mins anywhere else. He drilled the hell out of my nails & nicked my finger a couple of times. I was taken aback by the lackluster service & slow process. I will not be returning here at all. I paid $45 for subpar service & injury when I could have payed $35 down the road. Please think twice before choosing Spataneous is all I can say. read more

Called before arriving and asked if what time they take that's client they said 6:30pm, walked in @ 6:19 and the said they had no one to do full sets. For further reference you all should really be clear and honest when we call to inquire about your services, vs trying to fit someone in or wasting their time. read more

Large nail salon-12 pedicure chairs including 2 small ones for kids, and 21 nail stations. Understaffed for sure! Multiple ppl waited an hour to get started on their services. I had a fill done by this guy at station 18. He was subpar. Paint left on edges, acrylic applied thick on some nails and not evenly filed. No hand massage. For some reason, these nail salons in this area don't do that anymore. The lady (Amy) who did my pedicure did an amazing massage! That's the best I can say about this place. They took waaaaayyyy tooo long for service overall. I few ppl walked out. Service was average. I checked in at 3:45 and wasn't finished until 6:15. Smh-an hour was waiting to be served. read more

I've been coming here for about two years now. It can honestly be hit or miss BUT once you find the right nail tech, you'll be good to go. I love to go to Chris but he's only in Friday-Sunday so sometimes I have to settle for another person when I'm desperate. I get SNS and the prices can be a little funky. When I started here, I was paying $35 consistently. Now, they seem to have added $3 for a length/take off fee (my nails aren't that long). Either way I like it because it's convenient. I've been coming to this location since it opened, and couldn't be more disappointed in how they treated me today. I'm an easy going customer, and never get designs or anything extra. I got a yellow today that I knew would come up light on my nail bed so I asked for a white underlay (which they do on most yellows) and my nail tech said she would just do more coats until it's to my liking. I didn't like the way they turned out at all and was still willing to pay and come back for a color change, because I'd already been there 2 hrs and was ready to go. THE MANAGER, Steve, really said it would be $30 for a color change after I just paid $45 for my nails. Yeah it's a no for me. I won't be returning. I made reservations to get a full set and pedicure and when I arrived to my appointment they made me wait 20 minutes then after when I approached them to tell them who I was waiting for the lady literally cancelled and took someone else in front of me and said she forgot about another lady's appointment who also left and came back twice. They did not make any accommodations whatsoever. Not only do they have horrible customer service the staff is also racist towards black ppl which is a shame! I did a walk in early on a Monday morning, and was immediately seen. I came in for a fill, and a pedicure. The girl who did my nails did a good job, though I've had to pull away and winced a couple of times due to aggressive filing. Also was charged $42 for a fill? That price is definitely full set price, but whatever. The man who did my pedicure (initially had gel on, but wanted reg nail polish due to having gel the past three times) did an okay job, but one of the worst I've experienced. As soon as he asked if I had gel on my toes, I said yes, but I am not getting gel this time. He nodded, so I assumed he understood. When it was time to apply the color, he brought the UV light. I informed him, again, I'm doing regular nail polish. He proceeded to try to convince me on gel, and I told him I need to give my nails a break. Then asked me again, so you're doing gel? I told him no, so at this point he's giving me "I want your money" vibes. He quickly did my polish, and as I waited, I told the owner that I want him to redo my polish because it's clumpy looking. The man, Mike, returned and he had an attitude (didn't apologize, didn't ask what was wrong) the whole time he did it, and only redid the big toes... This salon is clean and inviting. I was greeted and seated right away. I had my SNS NAIL'S soaked off and a new set applied in less than an hour. Jimmy was fantastic. He noticed that the color I had on and the one I picked out were both very pale pinks, but the jar associated with the number I picked appeared to be slightly darker. He did a sample on an acrylic nail to make sure I wanted the color. I'm so glad he did because the color was way off! He found the perfect color for me. Would NOT recommend. Was in town for work and decided to treat myself with a pedicure..she ended up shaving my feet way to hard, cut a blister and didn't say anything. She proceeded to finish up and then put a bandaid on it. Little did I know it was way worse than it seemed. By the time I got to my car my foot was soaked in blood. I have been coming here for about 2 years and this is the first time that I have experienced bad service at this location. I came in to do a polish change and I was told it will be $32. Than I wanted to get a polish change on my feet and I was told $28. I have acrylic on my 2 big toes and because I did not want to get a fill in he would not do my feet. I've come here a total of three times and each time only the men technicians do a wonderful job. The women here are terrible! Each and every time they are disrespectful, don't give consistent service, and lack luster skills. The men have always provided amazing service, care, and skills. Today I had a male technician on my nails and a women on my feel. She barely put water in the bowl, didn't ask me about the temp, hurt when she was cutting my cuticles, and had an attitude when I corrected her.
