They put me in touch with a fixer who assured me he would stay in contact and get this fixed. He did this for a week claiming their team was working on it. His last email was how I need my Mac book operating on at least OS 11. I informed him with a picture that I am operating on Tahoe OS 26 Then he said that this is not true! Saying I was below OS 11. Basically calling me and my computer a liar. Now I have not heard a peep from them. This is so unprofessional- Do Not Bank with these people . Especially if you have an up to date Mac book. They obviously do not know what they are doing and they are dealing with peoples money. If you plan to use a MacBook Pro for online banking it probably is not going to work at this bank and they are too lame to fix the problem. Afterwards, I received a call from the "branch manager". She proceeded to ask me what I wanted the loan for and I explained to her it was for a personal purchase. After numerous and what felt like pointless questions, I told her I didn't want to go through with my application. She started to submit a new application for credit consolidation...which I did not want. I tried my best to explain to her that I wanted to apply for an unsecured personal loan and she kept interrupting me. She was very rude and I ended up speaking to another loan specialist who was equally rude. He kept interrupting me when I was asking for clarification on what documents they needed and why. I was told my application's outcome would be back in two hours. After three days, I received a call from yet another loan specialist, asking me for more documentation. I ended up canceling my application.. I will be going with another company. Overall, I can say that the Lake Forrest branch staff is very rude, impatient, and knows nothing about quality customer service. Id advise using another branch if your set on one main financial.

I went to the Mission Viejo office to open an account for the purpose of investing in one of their…read morecertificate offerings. I linked my existing bank account to the new SDCCU account to transfer monies (ACH). I initiated the transfer on the 20th. I did not see the deposit on the SDCCU side and when I inquired with SDCCU they told be it would take three to five days before it is posted. Certainly odd to hear nowadays and my experience with other financial institutions were not that slow. On the 22nd my existing bank informed me that the ACH was returned as SDCCU could not find the account for the deposit. When I linked the accounts there were four micro deposits made to ensure that it was the proper account. Once I affirmed the micro deposits, I sent the ACH. I'm not sure what is going on at SDCCU but this experience leads me to believe their online banking system is either old or broken. There is no help function on their app and you need to call a representative for any assistance on online banking. Frustrating at best. Good news is I have my money back and the next step is to close out the SDCCU account and withdraw the balance I placed there when I opened it. The experience was awful and not what I expected from a financial institution. Their mobile app was clunky and seemed to be based on an archaic platform with limited functionality. If you're looking for reliability and assurance of a secure and safe institution this is not it. On the positive side, the staff at the Mission Viejo office was very enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Their level of professionalism was satisfying. The only negative aspect was having to go through a credit check to open an account. I've never had that happen opening any other accounts but then I am old. Anyways, your choice on whether you use SDCCU or not. I'm just sharing my experience and dissatisfaction and if you were family I would tell you to try another place.
