Nobody likes having to take their car in to be serviced, but they make it a great experience, without breaking the bank. They gave me a ride back to my house when my car was going to take a while AND picked me up when it was ready. They have even suggested waiting a little longer on replacing a part/preforming a service I brought my car in for, rather than trying to take my money right away for a repair I didn't really need. You wouldn't get this kind of honesty from other mechanics! I suggest calling at least a day in advance and setting an appointment, as they get very busy. Reason being that so many locals trust them with their vehicles, it fills up their schedule pretty quick!

My truck was towed in because it went into limp mode while driving my niece to School. I needed a second opinion due to throttle body assembly not functioning properly after my mechanic tried replacing. Before my truck arrived, I was quoted $89 over the phone for diagnostic. Once my truck arrived at Chuck Patterson Toyota I was told the price had increased to $205 which, was not clearly explained or justified. Unfortunately, the diagnostic performed was incomplete and did not provide any new information beyond what was known. I expected for them to at least check the connector and ground wiring, etc.. The report I received failed to pinpoint the root cause of the issue or offer any meaningful direction for repair. Instead, I got an overpriced guesstimate, incomplete report. I quote "Start with calibration" for $1389 I would absolutely not recommend.

A friend referred me to Jon's Auto Stop and said they were really friendly. I took my car in in the morning before they opened. (They have a mail slot to put your keys through) Its a little shop near the bowling alley. They called me and let me know they found what the issue was. I was missing some hardware for the brake system. Instead of just telling me to get new brakes and rotors they said that I still had about 50% left and don't really need to replace them yet. They fixed the brake issue and said I could come back once the brakes wear a little more. I thought this was really nice and honest because another shop probably would have just said to replace everything. I will recommend this shop to my friends!

Asked could a brake change and diagnostic be done 5 1/2 hours which would have been 130 cause had to take my wife to work they say yeah no worries or issues. Guy takes a lunch and wouldn't be back til 115. He offers me to come pick it up drop it off at 3 and it can get done I told 330 at the latest had to find a sitter for my young he said ok. Get to him at 340 and without any care says it's almost four I cant finish by 5 howb10 minutes could make a difference I could never know but the point is you set an appointment choose no to work on it not even move to prepare and have no care. 1 1 star just isn't enough this company should learn how to respect returning customers. I wouldn't advise anyone to come here
