I took my 4month old male cat in about a week and a half ago and I was honestly very disappointed with the entire experience. The picture above was him the night I brought him home from the clinic and it's not right. Since then the area of incision has only grown bigger and even has a yellowish color. I called them a few days ago to tell them what had been happening and what I could do to help my animal and they had just told me the lump would simply "go away", when in reality it's only gotten worse. I then expressed more of my concern that he wasn't okay and they then hung up on me. I have had a very unprofessional experience with them overall and now will have to take my cat in for treatment somewhere else so I can get the help that he needs. This clinic is great. I utilized their TNR services for a feral cat. The biggest things that stuck out to me were the cleanliness, didn't smell bad, and the friendliness of the staff. This clinic seems to be extremely accommodating. There was someone who had 2 ferals in a trap and the clinic was ok with that. Another person came with a feral but didn't want the ear tipped. The woman checking in explained that wasn't optional but he could check the cat in as a pet instead and pay that pricing which he did but the fact that he didn't have an appointment for that service and they were still willing to take the cat really impressed me. A couple things I didn't really care for, I asked specifically if the pain injection is included and they said yes, but it's actually not, it's an extra cost. It's fine, it was $12, thankfully didn't break the bank. The waiting. There's waiting to check in and waiting to pick up. I'm an impatient person so I didn't care for this personally but no stars off for that because I also understand that's just the way it is and it's not really a big deal at the end of the day, it's just personal preference. I had my male persian, Draco, neutered at this location on Sept 30 2024. I then brought in his sister, Nesta, for her spay on Dec 31 2024. I have nothing but nice things to say. They treated my pets so well. They were returned to me clean and in great condition especially given they had both had surgery. I'm extremely anxious about my cats and their health after a traumatic event earlier in the year and the staff was so kind about answering my questions and reassuring they would take care of them like their own. This is a VERY busy, VERY organized, and VERY reasonably priced clinic for the two most important aspects of responsible pet ownership: Vaccinations and spay-neutering. Their smallish front office area with cats and their people on one side -- and dogs and their people on the other-- and a very busy front desk scheduling and check-in person in the middle - keeps the clinic running like a well-oiled machine. Behind the smallish front office reception and check-in area is a very large, bright, clean, BUSY operating theater full of surgeons and assistants doing their work. I called to to make an appointment, which the website lists must be made by phone. When I stated this to the receptionist, she asked me which day I would like, I told her what day works, and she began to explain that when comes my appointment day it will be a walk in, first come first serve basis. I questioned the reason for having an appointment if I still follow a walk in basis? She said that's how the clinic runs and I asked her to cancel since that defeats the purpose of me trying to make an appointment. Walk ins are Monday-Friday and only early mornings. Most people are at work during these hours or about to go into work. Not knowing when I'll get seen from a walk in is the exact reason to schedule an appointment. I came to the reviews to see if anyone had similar experiences and how it ended up working for them, but to my shock, I found pet parents (even some who sadly lost their pet) be argued against with responses from the clinic it self! Not only was every clinic response defensive, the clinic also lacks confidentially! I understand vet care does is not legally required to protect pet medical records, but at the least showing respect to patients who trusted you with their animals? Instead of arguing on yelp reviews...? Maybe email them personally, ask them to call up, give them your contact information?? But this company chooses to argue via yelp. Take accountability, be professional, be respectful. Thank god I read these reviews before coming for the walk in "appointment" , I would gladly spend the extra money at my pets vet office where I know I'm respected and my pet will be treated as such. read more

I scheduled a spay appointment for my cat with Arizona Spay-Neuter and was extremely disappointed with the experience. After arriving on time and waiting over an hour, I was finally seen--only to be told that my cat could not be spayed "until she was treated" due to mild nasal and ocular discharge from her controlled feline herpesvirus infection. At no point before the appointment was I informed that this would be a disqualifying factor. To make matters worse, when I contacted my primary vet as advised by Arizona spay neuter, they confirmed that antibiotics are only used in the case of a secondary bacterial infection, which my cat, by all indications, does not have. I called Arizona Spay-Neuter back for clarification and was simply told she couldn't be spayed until treated--but they couldn't even explain what that treatment would entail, "since they don't offer it". There is no cure for feline herpesvirus, and my cat is already being managed with supplements. The lack of clear communication and the complete disregard for my time were frustrating and unprofessional. I won't be returning and wouldn't recommend this clinic. read more

Tried to schedule an appointment over the phone. Lady questioned if I even knew my cats age and suggested we come in before any appointment to "verify age and breed" since they need to be at least 4 months old. The date I gave was 5 months out but since I didn't own from birth I didn't know anything. Then they misspelled the name that I spelled out. And they misspelled my name on my other cats microchip! Not only that I brought my other cat in for vaccines, they came into the lobby and said he'll get too fat if he keeps eating the way he is since he weighs more than last time. He was a kitten over a year ago of course he's way bigger! He was also recently at his regular vet who would argue differently, so you should have no business telling someone that in the middle of the lobby when you have zero clue how he's being taken care of. I took my new puppy in for her vaccinations this morning during their open clinic hours. The nurse Vanessa and Dr. Cora did an amazing job with my dog!! Everyone was very nice and eased all my anxieties about taking my first dog to get her shots. They answered all my questions and gave me pages of info on owning a puppy for the first time. I would highly highly recommend this place to anyone for their stellar service and affordable prices! As stated in other reviews, there is a wait but I checked in about 15 mins before the open clinic (M-T 8-9am) , was put right on the waitlist, and only waited about 30 mins to be called. If you're in a rush, I would just recommend arriving around 7:30 to get in the system! Overall extremely happy with my service, and will 100% be coming back for all of my vet needs in the future. I took two cats in to be spayed. When I arrived to pick them up, one was fine. The other I was told had internal bleeding and they had to operate again. An hour later I left with both cats, only one arrived home alive. 50 percent mortality rate! The first surgeon was Dr Duca Cora a graduate of Ross University in the Carribean! The second surgeon was Dr Harmon. The plus was that they didn't charge me for the surgery on the cat that died. If you love your pet, you may want to select a different location. read more

I had a great experience here. Of course as a pet owner your dog getting any surgery is scary and nerve wracking, but the staff here were very kind people. Prices are VERY affordable and that is amazing in this economy. I got my 2 female French bulldogs spayed and got their nares opened up more so they can breathe better. They did a great job on both the spay and the noses. They give you a good amount of meds to keep your pet feeling calm after their surgery. They were very nice to my babies. Make sure you get there at 6:30 (they open at 6:45) if you want to be one of the first ones there, because yes it is a busy place im sure spots fill up quick. Great team that clearly works hard and are very organized. So just go early to make sure you're able to get in and you should have no problems at all. I was the first seen and everything went great. I've been here before. I usually do walk-ins and know there is a wait time which is fine. But today I went to try and get my cat neutered after making an appointment and they told me I had a 2 hour wait time regardless of my appointment. I asked to reschedule for the soonest possible day and they told me Friday which was the original day I wanted (they told me on the phone there were no spots) and then proceeded to charge me $25 to reschedule for tomorrow. Friendly people. So far so good she was just spay yesterday. This is only my 4th dog in my lifetime so she's very important to me. My only suggestion would be is to re-acess a better way to get time slots broken up. Maybe splitting up 7 to 10a. And..10am to noon. Then the same for the afternoon patients? I found out about them when I went to the adoption center in petsmart. Prior to contrary belief that cheap clinics are riskier, I felt at ease knowing that this clinic specializes in neutering. When I came in, they were pretty busy but I like how their system makes it efficient going in and out. When it was our turn, the vet ran me through what was going to happen. She also asked if there was anything else wrong with my cat and I mentioned that he was sneezing and she wrote me a prescription. I went back to work and called at 2pm to check on my cat and they said the surgery went really well. However when I picked up my cat, he was so scared that he peed himself. It was his first time going to the vet and being left so I felt really bad. Only thing I did not like was I wish they could have put the cone that I bought because when I got my cat back, it wasn't on so there's no telling if he didn't lick the incision. Fast forward 4 days later, I was worried because my cat lost appetite. So I called the clinic and they immediately scheduled me to bring him in that day. They said he was dehydrated so they gave him an IV shot and another shot to make his tummy feel better. A day after and my cat's big appetite is back and I am very relieved. What I love about this clinic is that they have plan A and plan B. They're not just going to give you a grand invoice saying this is what we going to do and you're paying for it. They understand that pet owners that go here struggle financially and they don't put too much on us. They also called me back to check in how my cat is doing. I really appreciate how they care about their clients! So far my cat is doing really well! I will update this post if anything changes. read more

Found this place a few years back through the TNR program, this was one of the places that works with the County. I'm not sure if they still participate with TNR but they offer low cost spay and neuter services to the community. Although I don't use their services for my personal pets, I do use them every time I find stray cats. I have a soft spot for cats and honestly their low cost has allowed me to fix so many strays in my neighborhood. My vet charges $500 for spay/ neuter and this place only charges around $85.00 vaccines included. It's $25 to TNR feral cats but you have to go through the County for that. They are booked about a month out so plan ahead. The process is easy, they give you verbal instructions the day prior, drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon with written instructions. Great alternative for strays. Could not have fixed as many cats as I have if it it wasn't for this clinic. read more

Don't take your animals here. They neglected my cat today, 03/19/2024, and left him sitting in his urine for HOURS after getting him neutered. They say don't have him lick the incision to avoid moisture and tearing but then LEAVE HIM IN HIS URINE?? makes no sense. They lied to me and said he peed in his carrier when in reality, my carrier was dry and it was their kennel that he was sitting in urine. Didn't even mind to clean him up? Such a disgusting place. I 100000000% do not recommend. Mind you, he is a bright white cat and now he is dirty with urine all over him. Reply to Owners comment: You can lie all you want :) because my carrier was not wet nor did it smell like urine. My cat was the only thing soaked in urine with a newspaper underneath him that was wet ON TOP and DRYYY on the bottom. So how would the newspaper be dry underneath if the carrier would be wet??? This place is a lying, scheming, money-grabber business. If you would want to mention the visit I had the next day and the conversation with Dr. Harmon, she was extremely unprofessional and disrespectful, there was no sincere apology, said that I was "making stories up" and ended up leaving the room mid conversation rudely because she simply did not want to have the conversation. She said "this isn't going anywhere, we can't do anything now", and I was only talking to her for about 5 minutes. I would definitely recommend anyone to pay a little bit more somewhere else where they would treat your animal with respect and love, this place just loves money and treat animals like its nothing, with blaring music in the back room (which I think is unprofessional) since they are trying ti cover up the screaming barking animals. I wouldn't recommend this clinic and here is why... 1) Average wait time during walk in clinic is 2 hours. The prices are not much cheaper than any other walk in clinic elsewhere. And the wait time most other places I'm not more than 20 minutes. I mean it's stressful on pets and pet parents! It's worth paying $5 more to avoid the lengthy wait time. Here's how it works...check in time for spay neuter is like 7am. Check in for vaccinations is 7:30. First 20 clients get in for vaccinations. Once you get checked in you're on the waitlist with everyone else who checked in for the spay neuter. If you have 2 hours to sit around in a chaotic clinic than be my guest. All the dogs barking and cats crying was enough to make someone go bonkers! There has to be a better method. Vaccinations are super quick! 2) The nurse/vet tech is require some training on her sales tactics. She pushed me so hard to sell and upsell products and services I couldn't make heads or tails...totally reminded me of the unscrupulous sales tactics of Wells Fargo. They sell a "package" deal because it all comes with it...never going over the products or features. So you walk out feeling like you literally left the bank or a car dealership. A total sleazy situation! When I go to the vet, I want options not told what I'm going to get. After-all I want the very best for my fur kid and I want to make decisions not told. I'd say the veterinarian and front desk gals were super awesome! But overall it's not that much cheaper and it's a cattle call. And IMO just not worth it. Maybe make an appointment during a non-busy day where 1:1 is an option. But be very aware of that upselling nurse...she almost got me before I came to my senses! read more

We ended up having to put our dog down on Sunday. Our vet (el mirage) said that a Dog this old with his medical conditions should only have received the rabies and not the Parvo and distemper shots. Now I'm not blaming the shots on having to put him down, however our vet is very careful with older dogs and she was extremely disturbed that the owner of the dog is not allowed to go back when they vaccinate the dogs. WARNING: the vaccination form given after vaccination was NOT signed by the vet and therefore it was DECLINED by the county because it was not signed, as the dog has now been put down I'm not going back there to get them to sign a form that's no longer needed. However this is an issue the county does not accept a typed that name as a signature they must have a signature on that form beware they're gonna make you run around and have to go back to get a vet signature make sure to check your form before you leave and insist on a signature. This was our second time coming here. Last time they didnt give a 3 yr vaccine...they gave a 1 year, for same price. Which had me quite pissed as our dogs previous vaccine had not expired so it should have been a 3 year. This time They raised their prices, 2 hr wait to get vaccinations even though we came in early morning. Floors are filthy, they dont clean up after pet pee accidents. Which to me is a big no-no because things like Parvo can be passed on in urine. read more

Was recommended by a family friend when I became a first time dog mom and I have been recommending this place for the past two years. Although there may be long wait times, you can't beat the prices. To me it's worth it if you have more than one dog so I don't mind the wait. Spays are super affordable too, and they truly explain what you need to do before and after surgery to care for your pet... the staff do their absolute best.
