I called Speake's Plumbing because I saw so many positive reviews on here, yelp! And I am very glad I did!! I had a leak in my bathroom so when they came out from what I told them they needed to cut a whole in my wall in my closet to look at the pipes. When they did that they found out those pipes were good and that it must be a main drain that is stopped up! So they replaced my wall and dang you could hardly see where they cut it out! Then they proceeded to auger my blockage from the roof and got it done in about an hour! These men are good, very good! I will always use Speake's plumbing for all my plumbing needs!! read more

I broke a spicket on Sunday, and Speake's was out there Monday morning. I left a voice mail Sunday afternoon and they called me st 7:17 AM Monday like their voice mail said. Who does that anymore? If you have a plumbing problem and you don't call Speak's then you get what you deserve. Mike for Speake's came out and he is an artist with his work. He had the work done, and water on in less than hour and a half. Always ask for Mike he is friendly and knowledgeable. By the way my bill was $191. Mike had to remove brick AND he put it back. Hot water heater went out Sunday night ... Speake's came Monday Morning! I saw the great reviews on Yelp, remember seeing their truck around town and called in soon after they opened at 7am -- what a relief to know that a great plumber was on the way with a new water heater. They were very polite, explained what they needed to do and were very clean. The part of the garage with the water heater looked even cleaner after they left. I was impressed with the tidy job of pipes and hoses in our hot water closet and also that they went into the attic to verify that the venting was correct. I also appreciated that he showed me how to turn on the water heater and what to do if we ever needed to turn it off. And all of this for a reasonable price. I'm glad I called Speake's! read more

Once again you guys have proven to be the very best plumbing company we've ever used! You guys perfect the family friendly yet very professionally run business! We've used you many times our self and refer you to our customers and friends and always get a thank you for referring you! Late afternoon yesterday our hot water tank sprang a leak and soaked our hall carpet. We called Speaks and Rusty was great to tell us exactly what we needed to do and he called another company out (Dry Force) to soak up the water and set their equipment up to dry the carpet correctly over the next 3-5 days. Dry Force was here within the hour and worked the next 4.5 hours doing everything exactly by code and did an excellent job! Seemed very scientific with all their meters and gadgets! Kasey from Speaks was out first thing this morning to replace our tank. Unfortunately our home warranty company doesn't cover "Hot water tank leaks"!! But Speaks took care of everything and Kasey was quick and thorough in putting it in. Very happy with them! What a great company to work with! read more

Speake's replaced the faucets in a old shower (circa 1955), unclogged the drain, replaced the sink hardware and the shower head in another bathroom. They even had to removed some of the vintage tile to install the new shower faucet. They were extremely careful and did a great job for an extremely reasonable price. Excellent, excellent experience!! I had requested an estimate from another plumber who told me (without looking at the house) that the job would take 3 times longer and cost 4 times as much as Speake's. . I'm so glad I used Speake's. Definitely will recommend to all my friends. read more

Called Speake's after toilet overflow off the kitchen. At first the service went well and they discovered that a line needed to be replaced and recommended DeLong Services to find the rotted line and remove. DeLong did a great job although the cost was well over 2k. However after that was completed, Speakes took 4 days to come back out and replace the pipe and snake the drain to ensure all problems were solved. One week later... overflowing toilet yet again. Called Speake's but was told they did everything correctly and that we must have clogged the drain again. They offered to return and provide an estimate for additional repairs even though I had already paid $850 for the previous repair services. Also, please understand that my family of 7 had not used the washer or the toilet in over two months and only used the sink by manually emptying the water. Nothing had been in the drain!!! Called Winter's Plumbing we came and cleared the drain within 2 hours and two months later, thankfully no more issues. I don't know if Speake's is using different employees but my service left alot to be desired. read more

In a fit of do-it-yourself-ness I decided to attempt to see if I could at least determine what parts would be required to fix a leaky bathroom faucet. I used to fix the old fashioned kind all the time. I was proud of myself for remembering to shut off the valve under the sink before removing the handle and examining the innards of the faucet. But then I heard water running under the sink and found the shut off valve was broken and was making a big mess in a big hurry. My neighbor helped me shut off the water to the house and then it was time to find a plumber to fix it. Speake's Plumbing came up first and their ratings were good so I called. The man who answered the phone was compassionate and patient as I explained the issue. Within less than an hour the man was in my bathroom and in a short time the problem was fixed, in addition to the leaky valve that started the whole adventure. I feel their rates are fair and the technician was totally professional. I would definitely call them again. read more
