Writing this review for my mom, who insisted she share her wonderful experience…read more The work was done in Livingston, NJ~! I have been a home owner over sixty years and hired many contractors. As you know this can be a daunting task. But I found Monk's~! Rich Ressa, Monk's estimator arrived to assess the job and prepare the contract. He was pleasant and accommodating, answering all my questions and putting me at ease. He explained the process so I would know what to expect. On the start date he introduced me to Cristian and his crew. Their work ethic was so professional, no muss - no fuss~! When the job was completed (on-time) Rich returned to make sure I was pleased with the results. If you need a contractor- look no further than Monks!

Joe Corticada - our day to day lead - kept us up to date on progress and found creative ways to complete the project ahead of schedule (under 3 months). Amanda Cook helped us bring our design to life ensuring it balanced both aesthetics and function. Mike Drohan helped us spend our budget where it mattered most (custom door - still in love with it!), while balancing high quality lower cost windows. As someone who has gone through other remodels and acted as a pseudo GM, I can tell you I will never go back. This team delivered, did so as a team, and gave us a very high quality product that will produce memories for ages. Our little guy is already obsessed.

I had originally designed two closets using the online tool. I asked to speak with a designer, and she called that night. She was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. She liked the design of my simpler closet but had a lot of very good suggestions for my wife's walk-in. I took all of her suggestions (and I'm glad I did). The closets are for a townhome that I just bought but had not even moved in yet. I needed them to delay the shipment of the product until a certain day. She took care of that, and it arrived just when I wanted. I received 30 --- yes, 30 --- boxes ranging from small to very large. Every box is labeled with what parts are in it and, importantly for me, which closet the parts are for. Every box was amazingly well-secured, and the strengthened cardboard packing/protection did its job. Long story short (ha!!): I prepped both closets --- took down the old hardware, spackled the walls, sanded the walls, and painted the walls. Then I took about 8hrs to build the simple closet and about 12hrs to build the walk-in closet. I was *never* frustrated or led astray by the amazingly clear, well-illustrated, and well-organized instruction manuals (that are personalized for each individual closet). The resulting closets were beyond my hopes for what they might come out to be. I feel a sense of accomplishment and I felt like EasyClosets was an amazingly supportive and competent partner in the whole process. To be clear, if you get frustrated by the complexity of putting together IKEA furniture, or if you have a hard time sticking with a project for more than a couple of hours, then you should go a different route. However, if you think you are up to it, then you will not be let down by the pros at EasyCloset. Great price, great service, great product. Thanks. I'm glad I found you.

And while it's not as easy as building IKEA furniture, the system goes quickly once you get the rails installed. We recently worked with Saray Ortiz to retrofit one of our closets. We explained the modifications we wanted, they provided some feedback on what would work, we provided the measurements, and they crafted an order with every part needed to complete the retrofit. The retrofit went flawlessly and you would never have guessed the two parts were installed 10 years apart! I will continue to do business with them!

I would give this place 100 stars if I could! I found Art of Kitchen Tile & Bath when searching…read moreonline for nearby places I could visit to compare prices to a quote I had already received from elsewhere. After reading the reviews, I figured this would be a good place to comparison shop. Best decision I could have made!!! From the moment I walked in, I knew this was an amazing business. Everyone was super friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Another very important point for me was that there was absolutely no sales pressure. That's a HUGE plus! Long story short, I had received a quote for over $46,000.00 for the cabinets I wanted. This quote did not include any extras like pull out tray/drawers, lazy susans, utensil cabinets next to stove, etc. The price I ended up paying for all of the same cabinets from the original quote from the other guy plus additional cabinets, special pieces, drawer pulls, lazy susan/utensil drawer/pull out trays/drawers, etc. was just under $21,000.00!!! This price was for the exact same manufacturer (Fabuwood) and same exact color as quoted by the other guy...That's a $25,000.00 difference! (If my actual cost seems like a lot please note I got an insane amount of cabinets/pantries, etc.) Also, I don't know how I was so fortunate as to work extensively with Furkhan, but he was incredible throughout the entire renovation process! Despite the fact that I knew what I wanted for our renovations, I knew nothing about the actual process/details. Furkhan was pretty much available 24/7 and spent an endless amount of time with me going over every detail, making sure I didn't miss anything I might need, and answering my never ending questions. He took the time to learn exactly what I wanted and went above and beyond to ensure the desired results! He also came up with ideas that seemed minor but ultimately made the difference between me really liking my kitchen to absolutely loving it!!! (I still just look at the kitchen when I walk in and smile at the results). Another huge plus was that he worked seamlessly with my contractor and everyone else involved in the project (plumber, appliance place, etc.) to ensure the smooth flow of every aspect of the project. Even when I had a small problem with an outside vendor, he took care of it for me and made sure it was resolved immediately. He kept on top of everything going on and kept me updated accordingly. I cannot possibly thank Art of Kitchen Tile & Bath enough for all their hard work. Everyone who has walked into our house cannot stop talking about how beautiful it is and about the quality of the work! And I can never thank Furkhan enough for his insights and suggestions and handling the project with such professionalism as well as following up on every detail to ensure the incredible results we achieved! This is by far the longest review I have ever written. But they are by far one of the best businesses I have ever dealt with so I have to share this information!

We are very happy that we decided on four seasons, because some of those other companies are already out of business! Chuck at Four Seasons Denville spent a ton of time with us, helped us with the township paperwork and permits and variation, and was there every step of the way, taking great care in the design and material selection.

He was annoyed with our first complaint to him, and told us to only deal with his lead guy on the job. We understood that the crew was months behind due to the weather and allowances had to be made. But it was strange, though, that they would go away for 5-6 days and leave, for example, a wall that maybe needed only another 20 minutes work to finish. There was one corner of the addition that was clearly not plumb, and they rigged a solution only after we pointed it out. They skipped attention to smaller details, like wiping down the skylights after removing the film on them which had gathered so much dirt during construction before permanently taking down the ladders leading to them. So the dirt is still there, as is the dirt that collected in the crevasses of the bead board paneling due to it sitting out in the driveway for so long. No shop vacuuming was done. The skylights are very blue, and do not allow as much light as we were led to believe they would, so be careful about that. There are also gaps between the siding of our house and the wall of the sunroom which we thought would be caulked but are not. With all of this being said, we do like the finished product and, in general, the work was good. The issue was more with attitude. We never even heard from Chuck personally again to check on how we liked the final job, except for a form sent to certify the warranty.
