On the day of the appointment, the technician, Paul, was gracious, kind, and actually arrived before I did. He even told me to take my time getting there. He happened to reply after I had already scheduled someone else, but I decided to book an earlier appointment with him to at least have him assess the situation He arrived on time and was able to get everything sorted out fairly quickly. One thing I would recommend is confirming the pricing and getting a quote beforehand, since there wasn't a prior quote and there was some initial confusion about the cost. Definitely better to clarify everything before any work begins I ended up having two locks installed, one smart lock and one traditional lock, and both installations were done pretty quickly. He also made duplicate keys for me, which was convenient. The work itself was efficient, although there was some debris left behind that I had to clean up afterward Overall, I'd recommend Jin if you're looking for something quick and effective, especially if you're in a last-minute situation like I was. Just keep in mind that the service can be on the pricier side, and I'd recommend confirming the quote and scope of work upfront. A couple of small notes for future customers: the final price was slightly higher than the original project quote once the full scope (two locks) was reconfirmed (but this was conveyed pre-arrival, so no surprises upon arrival), and arrival was about 40 minutes past the scheduled time (but I get it, LA traffic!). He also recommended cutting the locks since he couldn't make replacement keys, which means I will have to purchase some new bike locks again soon. Regardless, grateful for Jin to provide evening and weekend services! They kept telling him 20 min away, 30 min away. There's traffic. Obviously we know there isn't traffic. When my husband finally left to go to his job they said 20 min away. Then the guy ghosted us. We finally just gave up. Quick note we live on a military base and made sure to tell the company their people will get background checked to come on base, so our thought is they don't wanna get caught for something.
