Brought my car in for them to fix the headlight that went out. I was given a quote from $1100-$2100 depending on how severe the replacement was: either ballast or entire headlamp assembly. I brought it home instead and the only thing wrong was the bulb which is a $100 part and takes less than an hour to replace. I wouldn't have left a review but [[HIGHLIGHT]]the tech I interacted with when I brought my car in showed zero interest in helping me[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and then this happened. My son had taken in his car for a full inspection and repair. They did a thorough job and replaced a lot of parts that were failing. That part was great and $3500 was paid. Not a problem. They kept the car for 10 days and the sun roof was leaking. The driver seat was sopping wet and mold was forming. My son got in the car and he got soaking wet. He showed the repair place the problem and they had moved the car after the big rain so we know that they knew. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They told him they weren't an auto body place and to just use some Clorox wipes. The gauling part is that they told him it came in that way, which it definitely wasn't.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They never put a tarp on it, put fans in it, or ask us what we wanted to do about it. Nothing and it got worse over those 10 days. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When we called to discuss it and they said it was ready 8 days ago and it wasn't their fault, which was a complete lie.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] No contact, no responsibility, and outright lying. Absolutely no integrity. They did a good job on the repair but hope something like doesn't happen to you because they will not own their own screw up and it forced us to pay a $1k restoration. The power drain issue was a rare stater power-soke problem which caused an intermittent power distribution module problem. Other shops including the BMW Dealership could not figure it out, and the problem went on for years, with constant battery replacements and AAA calls. Engine light came on, no other indication of problems. We were told possibly spark plugs. Husband said ok, but pls call to confirm price & time frame. No call that day or into the next. Decided to pick up car since there was no communicatio. Car had been completed. All in all, $1,300! Drove home. Two days later engine light on, plus bad shimmy. Got smart, read reviews, which indicated old clients were finished with them. Our normal mechanic was shocked after seeing what Specialized billed us. He said he felt like he was in another dimension. Price for spark plugs was ridiculous, along with other charges. why didn't their machine indicate what was truly wrong?
