This store offers illegal dental work which legally has to be done by a registered hygienist. When I spoke with them to let them know, they were extremely rude and condescending. I even reached out to the legal department of the company they use for the teeth whitening, and they said they are using their product in an illegal manner. They are only allowed to sell you the product and teach you how it works. They are not allowed to do any of the procedure at all. I decided to try getting a lash lift after my extensions (from another location) gave me an allergic reaction right before my wedding. I texted Olivia on Wednesday evening and w/in 10 mins she responded and made my appt. for the first thing Saturday morning which was perfect. She sent me a menu w/pricing and rule of the salon and later I received a text confirming my appointment. I arrived on Saturday and Olivia took me right away, pleasant greeting, asked if I needed the restroom or something to drink and gave a brief consultation on my existing lashes and we got started. The salon is very clean an comfortable and the lash application was very relaxing. I commend Olivia for putting up w/me as I am just getting over a bad cold so I had to stop to cough or sneeze and she was okay w/it, since this is a delicate application. RAQUEL is the best! I had my first ever lash lift done by her during a promo and have gone back each time my lashes needed to be lifted again! I will never go back to not lifted lashes! All of their technicians specialize in eyebrows. They shape them well and know what they're doing. However, I've never EVER been to a place where they charge you when an emergency comes up and you can't make your appointment on time. You have to schedule days to a week in advance too, so if your appointment gets cancelled, chances are you're not getting your brows waxed for a while. Here's my experience here. I went in to see Adi after letting my eyebrows grow in for months and months on end due to a terrible hatch job someone did on them at another place. She did great so I booked again w her. 2nd time was also a flawless experience. 3rd time, I tried to schedule w her before the birth of my first child but she was all booked up so I booked with Olivia. (I'm 9 months at this point) Everything was fine but the same day my appt was for, Olivia had an emergency and had to cancel! Funny customers don't get to charge them a cancelation fee. Any hoot, by the grace of god there was 1 opening w Jessica at 4 pm! Thank god!! My appt was booked and I could get my eyebrows done to look pretty for my induction date pictures!! This is my first kid so it's a big deal to me that I look presentable. I mean these are lifelong images to capture the birth of your first child! So that same day I had to drive all the way to the bay early in the morning for my weekly checkup appt to make sure everything was going well w the baby... well unfortunately things weren't well and I had to go to the hospital for NST testing. It took hours upon hours and finally when I was cleared to leave it was 2 in the afternoon. Now, finding out that ur baby's heart rate is suddenly decelerating isn't something you want to hear. It freaked me out and although in the end he was able to pull himself back together again, it literally put my mind into panic to where I had completely forgotten about my appt w Jessica. God forbid I preoccupy my mind with the well being of my child. Any hoot, appt was at 4, I got home at 3:55 ( if u commute to and from the bay, u know how traffic can be) she txtd at 4:05 asking If I was on my way... and holy crap because of all the stress and worrying from the day I wasn't. I wasn't on my way to see her because I had somehow completely forgotten about my appt! I asked her to forgive me and explained the situation to her, told her I would make it in 15 minutes if she could still accommodate me and guess what... she couldn't. At all. Lol didn't even offer any aid in helping my situation at all. U know what she did do though? Quickly sent me her venmo information so that she could collect her 20 dollars for a "no call no show" she called it. lol, remember my original appt was cancelled first... the irony. I paid her her money because honestly, if you can't understand my circumstance or even care or be empathetic towards my situation and 20 dollars means that much to you, then you need it more than me. After such a terrible terrible experience, I don't ever want to go back there again. Like... my feelings are hurt. Lol. I'd rather walk around w crooked eyebrows then support a business or beauty "professionals" that are that uncaring about its patrons. They do good eyebrows though, as long as life throws no curb-balls at you. read more

I'm leaving this review in response to the person I was on the phone with. I'm not sure who it was. But unfortunately she was unkind and unprofessional. I requested to reschedule my appointment which she informed me there is a $30 fee to reschedule even though my appointment wasn't for 3 weeks (I can understand if it was less than 72 hrs). I was also only wanting to move back my appointment by 1 hr and the person who I had an appointment with had a wide open schedule. However, I understand that this is their policy. Although I don't agree with the policy, I can respect it and I realize that this type of policy where any appointment is subject to a fee if rescheduled won't work for my busy life. When I said I wanted to cancel instead of reschedule for this reason the lady on the phone got super angry. She proceeded to call me rude and said she was glad I wasn't coming in. I just felt it was handled super unprofessionally and I was truly shocked with how aggressive she came at me when I simply told her I didn't agree with the policy. I was not aggressive or rude in the least, however I was honest with my reasoning and stated that their rescheduling policy would be difficult for me. I have had my eyelashes done here a few times and the place itself seems fine. People were friendly and my lashes lasted a long time. So this is more of a complaint against whoever I spoke with on the phone. It is never professional for someone to be aggressive or call someone rude on the phone. Raquel is a literal goddess in the flesh. I was addicted to using eyelash curlers which are so bad for your lashes for most of my life due to my naturally flat lashes. With the lash lift, my eyelashes are perfectly curled for 8 weeks at the least (how long they stay curled just depends on how quickly your lashes grow out). After a couple of sessions, I realized my lashes grow in naturally to a more curled shape and I don't need the lash curler at all. I go back in now to retouch every couple of months and regret nothing. Considering how much good mascara can cost and the amount of time I save getting ready, the price is way worth it. Raquel explains every step and answers all questions. I highly recommend Update: ~2/3 weeks since getting a lash lift and 3 days post 4.5 hour surgery and my lashes are killing it. Haven't been able to shower and wash my face due to pain and surgery complications but these lashes are holding up and putting in work for the rest of my face.
