At one point, seated between my spread legs, he stared coldly at me, his finger poking the spot I said was hurting and told me I should be happy it's not swollen. As he left he said, "sorry if I upset you" with his back to me, opening a drawer, adding: "Here. If you need to clean yourself up." He even made me look at the swab he took. He's a creep and not trauma informed, he's not even a kind person. 0/10 Do not book with this man! He should quit practicing. I shudder to think of the countless other women he's made uncomfortable over the years. I reminded him one in four women are victims of sexual assault and in his role especially it's important to keep that in mind. What a jerk! Update--after making a formal complaint with the office manager (who was kind on the phone) I have yet to get any follow up about next steps regarding my complaint or my medical needs. After an in person meeting and follow-up appointment, my issues has been left unresolved and I acknowledged in any formal sense (1/18/26). Update--Bill in the mail, dated 1/27, threatening to send to me collections (for a $25 co-pay from a follow up visit with a different doctor) despite my receipt of payment over a week prior.

Last year when I was pregnant I discovered I had a large ovarian cyst. The OBGYN I was seeing at the time was quick to suggest I'd need surgery when I was only a few weeks pregnant, even though my cyst was showing signs of getting smaller. But because I wanted to deliver at Sibley, I ended up coming here anyway. From the other reviews, it seems like if you're planning an abortion, are press for time, or may have a high risk pregnancy ... you'll not have a good experience here. But for me, it was pretty decent. My pregnancy was for spontaneous natural di/di twins so essentially I was sort of high risk. I ended up having more ultrasounds than the singleton pregnancy schedule. A couple of my ultrasound appointments weren't properly communicated so I ended up having to either wait a little longer or come in another day for the ultrasound. A little annoying but I stayed positive for the babies. In the end, everything worked out well but it was pretty consistent for appointments to start late. During my months coming in here, I saw the five doctors that share their patients. These are doctors Davis-Wilensky, Greene (before she switched out of the five), Messinger, Bren, Lightfoote, and Abraham. The one who ended up delivering our twins was Dr. Abraham and she was phenomenal. Because of my complication, I had to stay in Sibley a few days through the thanksgiving holiday and the doc on call was Dr. Beckerman and he was also great. I can see why others would not like the Foxhall practice and some of their doctors based on the reviews I've read but I've been fortunate and blessed to have a much better experience for my pregnancy.
