The service staff was patient as I went through my process of finding just the right paint color, worked with me to repair a damaged door, and prep and paint additional items for the car. I had tried to do a touch-up, myself, with a Subaru touch-up pen, on a small, quarter size, scratch/blemish on the door panel of a 2022 Ocean Blue Pearl Subaru Impreza that I had purchased just 3 months ago. It was small, but it was on the driver door, so it marred an otherwise beautiful vehicle, in outstanding condition. In searching for a body shop to inquire about this minor issue, while driving around the auto repair area of Burlingame, I discovered and stopped at Spectrum Auto Body Shop. It was Friday afternoon, so not busy. Kelly, who was at the front desk, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She informed me that it was a simple repair - all they had to do was to buff out the scratch, and they would do the repair for free. I was extremely nervous, didn't want to make it worse and more visible, but I trusted her judgment. The technician completed the repair in about 10 minutes, and Kelly was correct - 100% resolved, like new. No charge for the repair. I came here because of yelp's 5 stars. The owner alice gave me a quote for a spoiler paint and install and removal of broken glass in lift gate. I agreed to it. Fast forward 2 days i get a text saying they recommend cleaning my interior for a cool $250, i thought that was weird, i politely declined. One day later, i get a text saying my car is ready tomorrow. Cool. Next thing you know i get a text saying i need to pay $250 more since the tech didnt know you had to take off the spoiler to install.... At this point im like wtf. I told them i will just take the painted spoiler and install it else where. I get there to pick up my car, i see the trim panel is still off on the lift gate, at this point im pretty mad. I asked alice why she didnt put on the trim piece she said she didnt know I wanted the trim piece to be on... also said something about how she couldnt speak chinese so she can't communicate with her employees. Not once did she offer a discount or to have the trim pieces put back on. She also lost a bag of new Oem audi clips i handed her for when they install the trim piece. She looked around the whole shop and said she lost it. Ended up giving me $80 cash for it. She blamed it on her worker, something about his daughter dying. Again no apology or offer to make things right. I got home and looked at the painted spoiler and its horrible, dust bubble everywhere. I will most likely do a chargeback read more

I cannot say enough about the team at Spectrum Auto Body!! The quality of both their service, and craftsmanship are second to none. Living in San Francisco, vandalism is everywhere, I mean it happens.  My Infininiti was keyed on numerous panels, how frustrating! I called into Spectrum (based on its glowing reviews) and spoke to Alice who scheduled me on the same day for a free quote.  After meeting with her, she advised me of the cost of the repairs. It was best to make an insurance claim for the repairs needed. She helped call in the claim to my insurance with me and was able to get the car rental set up and everything.  It was a breeze.... My car got hit with a tree branch on the freeway which completely broke my sensors, fender liner, grille, etc. I got recommended by my boyfriend's stepdad and they are really great! It's not like any other car shop where they'll try to just make money out of you. I personally don't know anything about cars and the ladies at the front, Christine and Alice were really helpful and actually pointing out and naming the damage. It took about 2 1/2 weeks for my car to be completed and even hooked up it up by getting my hood painted. They even hooked it up with a 25% discount when you check in on yelp.
