Over the years, they've helped me with issues big and small--from random flat tires and a smashed side mirror to a hit-and-run repair and routine maintenance. This is my first time dealing with Ma's Auto and I am so pleased with the services provided by the entire team. I started sending couple of pictures to Mrs. Ma after the unfortunate incident occurred. She asked me to send few more pictures. I then received the detailed quotes from Lawrence Ma. I was not in the mood to read all the details. Mr. Kevin Ma called and explained the quotes to me and his explanations really helped me make the decision whether I should file the claim with my insurance company. I took the car in on Friday July 17th and was told the car would be ready on Friday July 24th, the latest. I had to chase them constantly and still got no clear answers. Customer service is terrible and they simply don't care about their customers. I felt completely ignored. The charge for it was really reasonable too. Dennis Leung was attentive and patient, gave an accurate estimate and timeline for the repairs, and worked smoothly with our insurance. He also walked us through the work after it was completed to make sure we were satisfied. Unfortunately, we were back at Ma's a week later, after another driver lost control on the highway and hit our freshly-repaired car. This time it was a total loss, but again, Dennis went above and beyond to be helpful. He helped coordinate with our insurance adjustor and guided us through the process. His attentiveness made a big difference through a stressful situation. I have been going to Ma's auto body for several years and they have always been great. I have felt very fortunate to find an auto repair shop that has been knowledgeable, honest and reasonable. Last year I noticed none of the same guys were there and the main desk had a new "CARSTAR" sign over it as well as employees I had never seen before. Something didn't feel right. I went in for my 80,000 service and was given a list of items my car needed. This company has always done great work so I thought they must know what they're talking about. In 2025 alone I paid $4320 in car repairs. I drive a lot for work so as upset as I was I figured everything that they said was needed was needed. I asked to speak with Dennis just to have him explain some things to me because it didn't make sense that the CARSTAR Auto Body employees were handling my service when they are strictly auto body and not repair. They told me he wasn't there anymore. I had the work done anyway. Today I went in for my 85,000 service and was hit with a whole other slew of things. I had been there four months ago and not once did anyone say anything about the things I needed done today. One of the items that I was told was needed was an alignment. I had an alignment just a couple of months ago. I told him to look at my file. He immediately said, "oh yes my mistake, you don't need an alignment." I should have gone and picked up my car then and there. But I didn't. In a year and a half I have paid Ma's auto body $7000. My car is only 2017 and it is in good shape. I feel sick to my stomach because I know I have been taken advantage of. I should have gotten a second opinion and trusted my instincts that something wasn't right. That's on me. They are not the same people or owner. They no longer care about servicing your car. They are an auto body repair shop who work with insurance companies after your car has been in an accident. I am so mad at myself for allowing myself to get taken. I should have known better that day I walked in and nothing or no one looked the same. I feel like such a fool. My Tesla had an accident collide with a bus and my whole right side of the car have to be repair, I got quotes from many other places and told my car will be totaled. Luckily I found Ma's auto from Yelp and Dennis whom I talked to on the phone and he immediately helped me arrange tow truck and drop off during the night time. Overall everything go smooth during the repair process although the parts took a bit of time to arrive but the repair process completed in a week. My 2003 Honda Pilot was clipped on the driver side and a friend recommended Ma's Auto Body to get the job done. I was more than pleased with the results. Was driving and for a huge aluminum piece in my passenger side rear tire. I usually take it to the Tire Shop back in my hometown because I trust them with my tire repair, honesty and quality, and prices. I decided to come check out Ma's Auto Repair Tire ship. I called ahead to make sure they were open and asked for a quote. I think I spoke to the Paul on the phone. Super nice on the phone and patient. Usually when people call for a quote it's because we need help, and that my friends I needed help, huge metal piece in my tire.. got a simple quote and on my way to Ma's shop. Jose the technician worked on my tire. He was cool with me being out on the bay.. I had to see what was going on. Luckily the metal piece did not pierce the tire.. thank god!! Dennis Leung is like a "surgeon when it comes to a car". He is courteous, respectful, & skilled with a keen eye for the smallest details. I visited Ma's auto body due to a faulty door on my Honda Odyssey. He examined the car for several minutes pointing out things I never noticed. He knew the rubber seal lining the door was a sensor for the push button open/close function. After he mentioned that to me, I noticed the rubber seal needed to be pulled out. I stopped in to ask a question about replacing the grille on my 2015 BMW as it had come with the 3 colored grille stripes which I didn't like. I had purchased new black ones and wanted them switched out. Dennis looked at my colored striped grille and said that the colors were just pop-off covers which I wasn't aware. He popped them off and didn't charge me anything for that. I thought it would be a whole production. He was very pleasant and professional, and I am very pleased with his level of customer service.
