This is a customer-first body shop. Johnny gave me a fair estimate to install some running boards on a BMW X7. We ran into a little communication issue with the supplier and it turns out the parts needed to be painted. He immediately took ownership and we agreed on a discounted price to get the paintwork done at his shop. Picked up the car a day later and it looked awesome! Fast forward a month or so and I noticed that the running board on one side had come a little loose. I emailed Johnny and he took me in the next day. After about an hour and a half, the running board was secured at no additional cost and he even threw in a complementary wash! Great service and would gladly come back for any other work! read more

Hanson's Auto Body exemplifies the best of the professionalism, integrity, honesty, superior workmanship and expertise in a business and its staff. Recently I dented the edge of my driver side rear door, leaving a 1" gap, about 5" long. Everything else was intact, so I thought it was minor and repairable. The first quote I got from the other nearby auto body shop was $5,000 to $6,000!! They would not repair the bent part, but insisted on replacing the whole door! I had my older brother go in and they charged him 375 a week after. It is clearly a way to take advantage of being younger/woman, they think they could getaway with it. I'd give them 10 stars if it was an option! Peter and Lisa are simply the best. Good, honest people who understand how emotionally exhausting this kind of experience can be. They are FANTASTIC at their work! My car was hit in a total freak accident that didn't involve me but hurt nonetheless because it was a brand new car! A week old! It didn't even have plates on it! But I digress- They totally sympathized, walked me through the process, and took the time to answer all my questions. I appreciated that I could vent a little and they'd indulge me in the chat. Peter would also call me periodically to give me updates as he had them which was super helpful. I could plan the length of the rental car better that way. They even went above & beyond by picking me up when I couldn't quite make it to their location, and then got me to a rental, even making sure I got a good rate ;) After about a week and a half, I got my car back. She looks perfect! Seriously!!! Brand new like the day I got her (car's name is Rosie, btw) The pic I added shows a good before and after. There are literally no imperfections so what you may see as weird blue streaks on the door & wheel are just reflections of the sky. Props to Peter the owner, he knows how to ensure complete customer satisfaction. Took our VW eGolf in for accident repair, which required driver and front passenger seat belts to be replaced. Replacement belts kept sticking not allowing you to pull them out easily or at all sometimes. Had to take car back multiple times, swapped out belts 3 times. Long story around each visit, but the bottom line is Peter stayed committed to resolving the issue and went above and beyond several times always keeping a positive attitude and very easy to work with. I experienced a momentary lapse of faith in our species when I found my car dinged in the parking lot, with no slip or acknowledgement :( The dent was big enough for the person backing into my car to have heard/felt, so as not to have simply driven away nonchalantly! But thankfully small enough for me to try to get it fixed out-of-pocket without involving insurance company (especially with my sizeable deductible). When I checked within my circle, I got one recommendation for Pete at Hanson's, I promptly drove up as I was nearby. Pete was friendly and straightforward, telling me that he would need to get the fender repainted after removing dent. He gave me an estimate that seemed reasonable (not that I have much comparative basis, but it just naively felt okay). Called for a bumper estimate, woman sneering the phone told me I needed to come in for estimate, loaded up the kid and went in for estimate. The guy never got up from his desk. Asked my name and number and car information and said he would call me with estimate. He didn't. I called him back a couple days later he said he was still working on estimate. He would call me back. He repeated my number, wrong number and laughed that he can't read his own hand writing. Waited a couple days. No call back. I called again a d left a message. No call back. Lets start with a compliment: The owner and his wife were delightful and charming. They were referred from a friend so when I got the large cost I went with it. (I should have looked at more places). I also waited over a week to get in. The car was hit and run. Beside the damage on the side of the car, there were panels (for a lack of better word) dragging under the car. The job took way longer than expected. The worst was that when I started home I heard the dragging under the car again.
