I just bought a spiffy brand new red Miata MX-5 and just a short three days later got a complete coating of paint over-spray from a nearby jobsite. I was devastated! Amazing body shop. Erick the owner is a master craftsman, a true professional and a gentleman to boot! You can tell he really loves his work. My car fender was scuffed up after someone in the parking lot had brushed my car. I got a few quotes and while Erick's was not the lowest, I was struck by his detail and care as he assessed the car and wrote up the estimate. He matched the paint perfectly to the rest of the car and delivered the car on time and budget. I was super happy I took the car to him as it came out flawless. Today, I took my other car to him again with a few scratches on the rear bumper - and while I love my car - Erick recommended not spending over $500 to fix the bumper. He applied a touch-up paint and a clear coat to prevent the unsightly blemishes. While the touch-up paint was drying, he noticed that the front grills on my BMW had become loose - he picked up some sticky material and secured the grills then and there and did not charge me a dime! Worst experience EVER. Maybe this shop can do small jobs but clearly cannot repair large jobs with frame damage. My front right frame was damaged 3.5 years ago. Erick and his team did a piss poor job on the car. First, he was always late in the mornings so no one was answering calls. He had to re-polish the hood and fenders b/c they lost their shine within a few months. The bumper clips were never replaced so the bumper hangs misaligned. And the worst is that they didn't fix the frame perfectly so my tires get eaten up while driving. I've gone through two new sets of tires in 3.5yrs and my car shakes while driving. When I called to ask him to check the frame, he said I'd be charged for it. I guess that "lifetime warranty" does nothing. Told me to contact the BAR. Now I have to repair my car elsewhere and sue him in small claims court for his shoddy job which is putting my family at risk every time we drive the car. Save yourself the headache and take your car elsewhere for repairs. read more

I'd recommend Erick and Multi-Craft to anyone that needed work done on their car. I've taken my car here a couple of times. First time was about a year ago. I was rear ended and my uncle recommended going to Erick. They did a great job on my bumper and got my car back to me really quickly. The second time was about a couple months ago. Some idiot ran a red light and t-boned my car. Again, I brought my car to Multi-Craft and Erick took care of everything. He even helped me out with my car rental. Due to the amount of damage it took a few weeks to get all the parts and finish the repairs, but Erick kept me updated about the progress with my car, which I really appreciated. And even then, I got my car back sooner than I was expecting. I always get my car back clean, waxed, and looking as good as new. Some of the best customer service I've ever experienced. Erick is awesome, very professional, honest, straight forward, explained everything to me, answered any questions I had, and just all around a good guy. (On a side note, I'm always worried about being scammed or taken advantage of just because I'm a girl and it's assumed I don't know anything about cars. Never once did I get this feeling here.) THE BEST AND A TOTAL LIFESAVER!!!! As we all know, the winter weather this year has made driving less than normal for a lot of people. That said, I ended up with my car dented at the junction of the front driver door and the fender the day after parking it on the side of the street in front of my house, after a particularly gnarly storm. I really didn't want to care since I couldn't find out who did it, and the last thing I wanted was to make a claim with my insurance company, but the door just wouldn't open more than a crack and I wasn't about to start getting into my car from the passenger side forever more. That said, I started calling body shops in Redwood City and ended up in tears after all the estimates I got from one place after another that said they could only replace the door or replace the fender, around 3k in damages. My husband went hunting for body shops on Yelp near his workplace and came across this one. Mike F. was super responsive with looking over the pictures, and being honest about the extent of the damages and what the cheapest options were. They got back to me fast on when I could come in and were able to look at / fix the car in the estimated 4 hours, and on a holiday! (NYE). The bend in the door and fender was taken out, touch up paint was applied to protect exposed metal, and best of all, I can get into my goddamn car and the whole ordeal was over in just a day. Erick was a friendly business owner and rang up the cost less than estimated and overall, a fraction of what I was getting estimated from places in RWC -- a complete godsend for a grad student!! The shop is on a stretch with a ton of other body shops so keep your eyes peeled for which one. Not much parking on the street and it's a fast driving stretch, as a heads up.
