This is the longest I have ever had to wait to be taken care of. So far I have been sitting here in the store on Paul Huff Blvd to cancel my service for over an hour. I've had ongoing service issues for the past two years, but the past week has been especially unacceptable. I've had three separate service calls, including a technician coming out, and the problem is still not resolved. When I attempted to cancel my service today, the experience was just as frustrating. It took over 20 minutes of repeatedly saying "no" to retention offers before they would even process the cancellation. Even after all that, they are still trying to charge me for the entire month--even though I'm canceling less than a week into the billing cycle. Between the repeated failure to fix the issue and the difficulty canceling, this has been an extremely disappointing experience. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I was there for almost an hour and nobody even said hi to me. There were three other people that walked out before I did because they were tired of waiting. One salesperson was with a couple for 30 minutes just joking around and did not once acknowledge any of the other customers. Customer service is probably the worst I've ever seen. When I reached out for issues with my account, Brenda from El Paso, TX used ChatGPT to speak to me for a live representative conversation and repeated herself over and over again. Don't sign up for any of their services, they will increase your prices by 50% after a year and won't give any of your money back. Don't rely on their employees, "promotions" or their word for anything regarding your account or pricing. They suck and have a monopoly in my area, meaning I'm stuck with no internet connection if I don't want to do business with this terrible company that is in it only to legally scam as many people as possible. Once again I have been scammed by Spectrum. I received a phone call and was offered to try Spectrum TV and an upgrade to 400Mbps on my current internet and WiFi service with a 30 day money back guarantee. If I did not want to keep the TV service, I could cancel, not pay the extra on my account and my internet, with the upgrade, would remain at $54.99 per month for the next 36 months just for trying the TV service. I called within my 30 days to cancel the TV service and they are telling me I am not within my 30 days and that my internet service is going to be $79.99 a month because the person who placed the order did it that way. Now excuse me if I am wrong, but I did not agree to those terms and Spectrum should have to honor the terms I was quoted. I am very upset because even after being scammed before, I went back to Spectrum for another try because they offered me the $54.99 for one year, which I didn't even get. I have only been back with them for 8 months and already they are up to their old tricks. I am looking into other services. Please be aware that Spectrum will scam you over and over again.
