I visited this store to add a family member to my existing Verizon plan and had the good fortune to have Sarah H ask how she could help as I entered the store. What should have been a simple switch from Consumer Cellular to Verizon turned into a days long ordeal as Consumer Cellular threw up numerous roadblocks to the changeover. It was as if they thought that if they made the process difficult enough we might stay with Consumer Cellular. Sarah, however, stuck with it despite the delays and obstacles...and despite there being very little revenue in it for Verizon. Sarah kept me up to date throughout the process which lessened the frustration created by Consumer Cellular. Kudos to Sarah for putting the customer first! read more

This morning my cute, little white iPhone SE stopped loving social media. It wouldn't upload a video to Instagram anymore. It also stopped wanting to use the Verizon app to pay its monthly service bill and stopped wanting to make a call. Last week it shut itself down twice after waking up for the day. I knew it was reaching retirement since it was a little over 2 years old. My normal work routine entails using a cell phone quite frequently throughout the week in many ways. So, I decided to go to a Verizon store to see what my options were to regain full connectivity. I'm so glad I chose this Verizon store location. Upon entering this store, a friendly person named JB greeted me and asked how he could help me. I told him what my iPhone SE was doing. He said that he hadn't seen one working at all in awhile, that most just call it quits conpletely at this stage because that phone's technology is out of date basically. He then looked up my account, saw that I was eligible for an upgrade, and told me about the promotions currently going for the two newest LG android type phones on the market - the two lowest cost options for my type of account. He also showed me some online reviews for those phone models. I decided on the thinner one, the GB ThinQ, since it could fit in my pocket. He setup my new phone, including transferring all of my data, and I walked back into this decade. read more

I've been a steadfast supporter of Cellular Sales, a certified dealer for Verizon, for many years now, but my experience since September of last year compels me to share my story, in hopes that no one else has to endure what I have. My ordeal began with an upgrade to an iPhone 15 Pro Max. From that moment, my account became entangled in an unimaginable mess. Somehow, it was mishandled into a limbo state between a business and consumer account. This error led to one of the accounts being sent to collections, further complicating my situation. Despite my attempts to resolve this, Cellular Sales' solution was for me to pay for both accounts, an unreasonable expectation since nothing was my fault.The repercussions of this error were manifold. I was unable to process my $850 trade-in due to these account issues. Now, I find myself with three phones: my trade-in, the iPhone 15 Pro Max I paid for but can't use, and a loaner phone that was supposed to be a temporary solution. Yet, neither of the phones I own are of any use to me. I've lost access to essential features and conveniences - my passwords, apps, MagSafe chargers, and even my two-stage authentication for work are all in disarray.For six long months, I've been charged for services I can't use, with no credit for my trade-in, no refunds for the extra expenses, and no compensation for the tremendous inconvenience and frustration. Despite my patient efforts to diagnose and resolve these issues with Cellular Sales, my account situation has only worsened.My patience has been stretched to its limits. All I seek now is an end to this ongoing nightmare. The lack of resolution, accountability, and compensation for my troubles has been deeply disheartening. It's difficult to reconcile this experience with the years of loyalty I've shown to Cellular Sales. He was very patient with me when I couldn't remember my PIN number and helped me through every step to get my phone back in working order. I upgraded my phone from a 7 to a 12 today. The employee who helped me, Chance, was so incredibly friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the Verizon towers went down unexpectedly so it took about an hour for my information to transfer to my new phone. During that time, Chance did everything in his power to try to get it to work and eventually it did! His tenacity and determination to get my phone to work was very appreciated and he eliminated all of the stress i was starting to feel. Thank you Chance and all of the other employees who helped me! I I purchased a screen protector from this store from a very eager salesman. It had a warranty for the life of the phone for replacing cracked covers. When mine broke and I contacted the company to replace it nothing happened. I phoned and emailed and never got any response. So I went back to the Verizon store and ask for help. I was flat told that they sell the product but offer no help in resolving issues. I ask why a company as large and reputable as Verizon would sell bogus products. This is not a Company owned store. It is operated by a franchisee who specializes in poor customer service. Never really encountered customer service like this anywhere, aside from a food truck in Kingston, Jamaica. ..and at least they had an excuse...they had to kill the goat. This place really is to be avoided. If you must use verizon, go to a different location rather than an authorized retailer with roaming salesmen. Was encouraged by a rep here to switch from an iPhone to a samsung, which i did. I sold my iPhone back to Verizon as a part of this switch, but the store did not wipe my old iPhone properly. As a result, I did not receive many of my texts. After many calls to customer service, text support, apple, and this location, I still experienced problems. My group text feature also didnt work properly...no telling how many messages i missed. Phone charger they sold me was also defective. Instead of crediting my account and replacing my phone, I got a variety of excuses and untenable/expensive/­time consuming suggestions for how the issue might potentially maybe get resolved. I am a 16 year customer who just switched to Tmobile. They have provided better service, advice, and products...at a much lower cost (and they rebated my termination fee with Verizon). Hard to believe a company like verizon would want to lose a loyal customer but that appears to be the case. Stay clear of these guys. No stars. read more

I had been to this location once in the past and had not been impressed with the staff. However, I was pressed for time and this was the closest store. The phone call experience and subsequent in-store experience was very good. For most cellphone stores, it is the person you get that makes all the difference. I was helped by John House who helped me get set up with a new iPhone, transfer of upgrade, plan changes, and an old phone trade-in. He was was knowledgeable in each part of the process, and everything was done in a half hour. He gave me his direct cell number and email in case I should have a problem, which I haven't. It's as if they tired to make me feel stupid because I didn't understand the policy of service I was questioning about. If I had know the answer I wouldn't have asked it! My phone was disabled and I went into the nearest Verizon location. The Sales Rep told me that Verizon no longer supports the iPhone 6S on their system and that their would probably be a lawsuit against Apple. I was told that I would have to buy a brand new phone to continue Service. He looked up my account and said my phone was stolen. He clearly was only interested in selling me a phone. I left and called the 800# and the Verizon Representative said she had sold 3 iPhone 6S phones within the past 15 minutes and contacted the Fraud Dept and had my phone turned back on. She said the Rep at the Store should have done just that. I attempted to contact the Manager and Corporate, but could not get anyone at this location to even call me back. Very Sketchy! Poorly trained or just clearly misleading!!! Steer clear of this location and go straight to A Corporate owned location. They are an unreliable Reseller. read more
