This is by far the worst Spectrum location I've ever dealt with. The employees were not transparent with customers, and I was given incorrect and unclear information. My SPECTRUM wireless internet service is still totally unreliable, booting me out between (just in the last 10 days) between 14 and 30 times a day. This includes both televisions, my laptop, and even occasionally my iPhone. There is no rhyme or reason, it just happens, and while I am typically able to reconnect, that's not the service I'm paying for, which I am contractually required to acquire through my apartment property owner, as though it's a rent obligation. That itself is anti-competitive. Obviously I am not recieving anything close to SPECTRUM's promised, advertised, and contracted for 1GB service, which I have confirmed using SPECTRUM's own app. I believe on information and evidence that the reason for the constant outages is that SPECTRUM puts far too many nodes on the system, and then when a larger number of users are tapping bandwidth, it's insufficient to support the load. This is tantamount to communications FRAUD, in my view. I am filing a formal FCC complaint and another complaint with the Ohio Department of Commerce, Video Service Authorization Section. I hope there's a reasonable alterative to SPECTRUM, the most unreliable service I have ever had the displeasure to use. Wish I could leave zero stars. Called Customer Service (CS) to speak about grievances, I turned on my call recording, she heard it notifying her of this (I had surgery a week ago and can only use one arm, unable to type notes). I took over my 82 year old grandparent's account a month ago (beginning of March). I changed all of the info to match my contact, the bills come to me, everything. The CS rep refused to speak with me, mockingly asked if I changed account info today, was arguing with me; I asked her to stop interrupting me, telling her that I needed to express my concern so I could be assisted properly. She hung up on me. I went online to see if I could downgrade services; redirected to their awful CS phone line (833.949.0036). Left this on their site: 1. Terrible "why wasn't this helpful options" - three choices that do not encompass legitimate concerns. "it wasn't what I searched for", "it was confusing" (seriously?), "it has inaccurate or incorrect info". 2. Making it impossible to downgrade services - upgrade and give you money, no problem - do something about abhorrent scams on seniors being charged $400.00 a month for internet, home phone that they haven't had in 10 years, and TV; which includes a DVR they have no idea how to use, and receivers/cable boxes in bedrooms that no one lives in (who are hard of hearing and cannot advocate for themselves), no can do. 3. The biggest complaint I had was when you sign in they ask you what you are there for. I only needed to return an older piece of equipment we replaced. That didn't seem to matter so why ask. I was fourth in line and still took an hour and a half because people were there with phones that needed help because the phones are smarter than us users. They should have one person out of 6 or 8 just for returns and the line would go much faster. Took me 5 minutes once my name came up. Ridiculous system. read more

I can't judge this spectrum never been there but ironically non of the huber heights Englewood or miamisburg ones dont come up. I can't stand spectrum for months they have run me around until the warranty was up . Now they won't take it back . It has been broke for months Englewood spectrum has giving me the run around . Sent me to apple to get it fixed apple sent me back but guess what you can't make an appointment at any of these on line. It is a joke . Lines for hours . One way to keep you from returning things. They sold us a good looking plan ensuring us that it would have strong internet, but now, not even a year later, the internet goes out almost daily for almost an hour. Just get a more expensive plan, it's worth it, their plans may be cheaper, but do you want to be on a work call and get cut off, spectrums plans are not worth it. read more

The only reason for the 1 star is because there is not a 0 for me to select. I am saddened by the experiences that I have had and still dealing with; my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. This phone has given me NOTHING but trouble beginning with the 3rd month that I have had it. I called Spectrum for help/replacement, but nothing was accomplished. They sent me to their "flagship repair center"( a total of 2 times now) way out of my area, only to be told that they cannot replace, repair or anything else the phone. Everyone from Spectrum has told me that I CAN do the ANYTIME UPGRADE. That is a JOKE! When I tried to take that option, I was told that I could not qualify. It is NOT BROKEN just does not work. It is now December, and this device is a basic paperweight. Spectrum makes it very hard to cancel your internet service. They don't allow you to cancel on their website. Instead, it list a phone number to call and specifically states that you won't have to talk to anyone to cancel. Well, I did have to talk to someone named Audra and instead of cancelling my internet service as I requested, she insisted on trying to save my business. I repeatedly insisted that I wasn't interested in staying with Spectrum due to the high price but she would not cancel my service until I listened to her speil. After 15 long minutes she finally relented and canceled my service. What a horrible 15 minutes it was. read more

It's not even this store I want to warn people about. It's spectrum in general. As I've seen in previous posts, apparently I'm not the only one who is constantly having internet issues. I pay $200 a month for streaming tv and internet. And that 600mg that's supposed to be a free upgrade..bs. Streaming services don't always work on all of my tvs. I have the same tvs throughout my home. When I call, the representative starts talking about it could be my tv. IF I AM TELLING YOU I HAVE THE SAME TVS THROUGH OUT MY HOME WHY DOES MY SERVICES ONLY WORK ON ONE OF MY TVS!!!! Every six months or so you're going back to the store to get a new modem. I am definitely leaving them and hopefully taking a bunch of people with me. I returned my Cable Box because it was no longer working. My television screen was black, and the remote did not change any channels. I took it to this store to get a replacement. The customer service lady to me that they were out of Cable Boxes. How do run out of Cables Boxes, you are a Cable TV store. She told that she took my name and address. That they would send me a Cable Box overnight by a private carrier. She lied to my face. She did not order nothing. This is a very poor customer service on her behalf. The lazy customer service lady gave me the run around period. I came home and called the Spectrum 800 number. I was told that they was going to send the new box in the mail, that it would take three days or more. This is the week-end, and Many Football games that I will be missing. I pay the $240.00 a month for the BUNDLE. That will change very quickly. I'm looking another outlet for Cable TV services. Spectrum is dirty lowdown non-family business. Worst internet provider, they have monopolized the area so they no longer care about missing appointments, not honoring their policies, and bad customer service. We have had two maintenance technicians fail to show up for scheduled appointments, and we have been without internet for more than a week. Any time they don't show, we get put at the end of the scheduling queue, and it's a few days out before someone can come out again. Customer service is of no help because "they can't contact field technicians." This company is a joke, and they don't care about customer service, or honoring their agreements. If anyone else has this problem with Spectrum, we filed a complaint with the FCC, and they were quick to take this case. Hopefully that will force them into action. read more

So the store opened with 1 employee at 10 am on a Saturday. I got there at 10:09 am. and went to check in, but the checkin system was offline or broke. I stood in line for 25 minutes only to be told basically it was useless. The employee even said I could apply when I said there should be more than 1 person working on a Saturday. She was doing the best she could but in my opinion this is a terrible customer experience. I would not recommend going to this store on a Saturday, I have no idea what it's like on a weekday but my experience was not a good one today I feel like I wasted alot of time. The service at Spectrum is the worst in the industry. They monopolized my neighborhood for the last 15+ years I've lived there and had to deal with it. The price gouged you constantly. Force you to beg annually to bundle services to lower your costs, won't match anyone in the market cause they know you can't go to them. Upload speeds are terrible and told me I didn't know what I was talking about when I said I needed higher upload speeds. I'm so glad to finally be rid of them!
