Really poor service. Signed in and was "next"in line. Waited 30 minutes with no one even acknowledging our presence. We were the only customers waiting in the store. One other customer was talking to a rep. 3 employees were more interested in closing the store than waiting on us. 7 pm came around and they closed. We never got helped and left as they locked the doors. read more

Truly I cannot say enough complimentary things about the three young men who just delivered and installed my new LG dishwasher, so I'll simply say that they were fabulous! They worked above and beyond to overcome some difficult obstacles that were preventing an easy installation. I have not seen such dedication to a difficult job in a very long time. After being an AT&T customer for 20+ years, I was having issues with cell service and customer service. My son suggested going with Verizon, his service provider. I went to the Hilliard store, which was temporarily closed (a Covid scare, I found out later) so I went to this location at Tuttle. They ask that you wait in the lobby until you get the go ahead to enter the store so they can limit the people in the store. I was greeted by Alex and explained what I was dealing with. He gave me options, and explained each. He offered superb customer service and I couldn't be happier. All associates were wearing masks and there are screens up at the desks. Side note: I called Verizon's loyalty team a few days later with a couple of questions, and it was so much easier than AT&T's hot mess of a system. read more

The manager of the store, Dylan Stewart, provided us with OUTSTANDING customer service last night. During the transfer of info to a new phone bought online, the final steps were not able to be completed. This became a complicated problem. Dylan worked over an hour and a half past the store closing time to ensure the phone would be in good working order for me. He was professional, patient, and kind beyond words. I can't thank him enough, and I hope he gets recognized by corporate for his work ethic. read more

Stopped in after realizing they had moved across the street. The new location is larger, and laid out better. I was checked in at the door, and waited about 10 minutes. They were surprisingly busy. Once I was helped, service was very friendly and efficient. My problem wasn't solved right away since they sent me to the Apple store first, but if Apple doesn't fix it they said to come back and Verizon would take care of it. With Apple I might get the phone replaced on the same day; sending it in from Verizon would take a few days. And they know people can't live without their phones for long. People can live for weeks without food, a few days without water, a minute or so without air, but scant seconds without a phone... I didn't wander around the store much, but there were displays of assorted phones and devices, and a huge wall of phone covers. Verizon is a bit expensive, but customer service has generally been good. Going to a retail store is always dicey since there will usually be a wait, but once they actually start the service is good. I've had other cellular providers in the past. For my money, Verizon is both competitive and provides reliable network coverage. This location is an actual Verizon owned store as opposed to a franchise store. I've been to both types of locations and definitely prefer the owned store. They can often assist directly with changes or issues that a franchise may not be able to handle. This is a newer location for this Verizon store. They moved from their prior location across Tuttle and a little closer to the Tuttle mall. Store is a little bigger than former location. Traffic congestion can be a bit of a challenge at peak times, but does have more parking availability. Pricing on purchases are comparable to others. Talked with their service rep about my current plan and usage. He was able to advise me on a newer plan that is actually saving me $30 a month and offering me better features than what I had. It's not any special deal that expires after 12 months either. I was quite please with that. I had a pretty good idea what I wanted when I went in for my upgrade. He knew his product. Talked about pro's & con's for different questions I had. I did not feel as if he was pushing any extras or additional products. I was very pleased with the service and my upgraded phone. read more

Awful service. ~8 people working, and no one would check us out for a watch, simply because 1 guy already had started helping us last time we were in (earlier that day), and he was assisting another customer. They care more about 1 guy's commission than customer service. Waited over and hour for our assigned salesman, and finally asked if someone else could just check us out. All of the salesmen/women had an attitude about it. Finally someone agreed to check us out, which took 2 minutes, and we were treated with a rude attitude, simply because we didn't want to wait any longer. Awful, awful, awful. I always dread trading in a phone because something always goes wrong. It did again this time too. The reason for the 4 stars in my review will be explained. I did the upgrade over the phone. The problem was that initially the phone customer service promised me a certain rate of trade in value without explaining all the rules or " fine print" to me. So when I went into the store to hand in my old phone I was informed that the promised value was not correct. At first the staff was like well that's all we can do here on our end, but then they encouraged me to call customer service because all phone calls are recorded and there would be a record of my conversation I had when I made arrangements to up grade my phone. So Josh patiently worked with me and the customer service person and an hour later the problem was solved. So in all the store on Tuttle gets the 4 star rating for helping me and not just saying well you are out of luck. read more

Worst place ever. Waited and waited. Then the sales guy said" let me look at your current plan oh I can save you money" So I thought wow this is a good thing. WRONG my bill came it was $17.12 more. Then when I called to talk to him he was MIA and wouldn't call back. Terrible !! Never again. When my contract is up I'M gone!!!! read more

I went to Verizon at Polaris, Columbus to purchase a new case for my phone. I purchased the phone one year ago. Verizon had no cases on display for my phone and the assistant who checked me in said she would check in the next customer then look in the back for more cases. She talked with him several minutes then checked in the next customer. I left after 15 minutes. Poor customer service. Went to Best Buy. Got great service and purchased a new phone case. read more

Been a Verizon customer since it was Airtouch and CellularOne. The service in this store has for years been the worst ever. Rude and unhelpful staff. So bad and so rude that I have considered changing from Verizon to AT and T. I noticed very recently that this store is closed? No loss except the location was convenient for me. First of all, I have been to this location and had great service many times. However - Walked in today, by myself and was super slow - nobody there, and the person up front was immediately unfriendly. He begrudgingly said "Hi" and gave me a blank stare. I had to explain why I was there. I told him I was looking to get a new screen protector and quotes to upgrade my oldest son and add a new phone for my younger son - Christmas stuff. He said (coldly) "cell phone number?". I started to say my number and he said "stop hang on". And he walked off (no explanation). He came back. I asked about kid phone options. He said "yea we have a kid plan." Then ... blank stare. I said "great. What does this entail?" He said "$35/month". Ummmm ... "what else?". It was like pulling teeth! It all just kept going down hill. I tried so hard to win him over and be pleasant. It almost seemed he was trying hard to be rude. We finally got to replacing my new screen protector and he refused to take off old one (as a courtesy service apparently) and said if he put a new one on he would probably mess it up. I did what I have never done ... I looked him in the eye and said nevermind. And walked out. I pay almost $300/month for cell phone plan at Verizon. read more

Wish u could give zero stars. I came in because my phone kept disconnecting from WiFi and the rep took my phone in the back to "look at it" then came back out and tried to get me to replace it without explaining the problem. I then had a friend look at it that used to work for Verizon and fixed my phone in less than a minute. I almost let this lazy verizon employee talk me in to getting a different device..so glad I didn't give up and talked to someone else. My advise...get a second opinion before letting them talk you into using your insurance for a replacement phone!! read more

A letter I sent to the manager: "Hello. I was in the store at Tuttle Crossing yesterday, and I just wanted to take the time to let you know that you have two excellent people working at that location. Beaux Wallace and Jeffery Saint- James. Jeffery and Beaux have not only done their jobs in helping to provide solutions to product problems; but they also have humanity. That is to say, that they have well developed insight, forethought, empathy, and have no trace of point of view narcissism. They saw my struggle not just from a sales associate perspective; but also as a customer. Even deeper then that, they understood not just that I had a problem with my voice mail; but to dismiss my situation with a pat answer ( for example: 'just call *86 and set it up'), would make anyone with two brain cells, angry--VERY ANGRY. So, seeing a customer getting no where with one sales rep., Jeffery jumps into action, and was very kind, soft spoken, helpful, and took over the situation. He called Verizon and was on hold, and then had to call on a second phone! to another Verizon sales rep. to attempt to solve my voice mail set up problem. Jeffery was on hold, dealing with TWO!!! Verizon sales reps on the TWO! phones. Seeing this juggle act to fix my voice mail problem was ridiculous, and I felt bad for Jeffery. It was at this point, that Beaux, did NOT stand idle. He, from a distance, had been paying attention to the situation unfolding, and he walked over and shared his solution to fix this,... unbelievable, seemingly 'easy to fix problem' (for a sales rep, as it would seem like a common situation). It's voice mail. I was in the store; because I was told to go there by the Verizon help line and that my problem wasn't fixable over the phone. I have been without voice mail for entire month! My partner is in school in Dayton, and I live here in Columbus; but, we have just one car. So,... one WHOLE MONTH, with NO voice mail. You need know that both Jeffery and Beaux, are good people. It took Beaux and Jeffery, and NO ONE ELSE to fix my problem. The Verizon help line reps. were NO HELP (in the at least four times that they were contacted by myself and Jeffery). I am debating on whether to complain about the in store sales rep. man who was at the front by the door when I first arrived. He was so rude, so, so rude, and didn't or couldn't think beyond dismissive, pat, snarky answers- WOW! HE WAS SO RUDE!. ... but, Beaux and Jeffery are more important to focus on. So, please know, that you have excellent resourceful, thoughtful, helpful, young men, who do their jobs well; but, also improve humanity and civility in our society. To bad you can't give zero stars. This place is the worst. Most of the staff is pretty nice, but they really don't know what they're doing. They don't understand Verizon's own offerings. The big problem is when you finally realize what you're agreeing to is not what they told you. Then the bad part really begins. The manager is horrible. This is THE worst verizon store I have ever been to. I have two iPads and 4 lines through verizon for over 10+ years. I have never been treated so badly. All I came to do was to upgrade my phone. I was given two other "apple incentives" which one involved an iPad. This man claimed that it would drop my current bill by 50 dollars but never described what the "catch" or details were. He simple wrote down my options and had me read his horrible writing, while he stared at me quietly and since I had no idea what the background of the other option was I just simply said I just want a phone... I probably would have got another iPad given that it would save me 50 dollars but anyone in their right mind would think there is some type of catch (for a 700 dollar iPad) and that it should be explained. This never happened. His body language was very stand offish and as soon as I said I just wanted a phone he rang me up said other things like " ok, your loss, since you don't wanna save 50 dollars" Again, never explaining anything about the deal. I normally give people the benefit of the doubt and understand we all have bad days but this man was straight up RUDE. I ended up with no receipt and no information about setting up my new phone (which is always done every time I upgrade) When I asked him as he walked away from me on the way out, he goes "its easy" and kept walking. I'm telling you save your time and patience for another store. read more

If you got your phone at this location, check your bill. We purchased phones at 2 separate times and come to find out, they added warranties and protection plans without our permission! We have been charged for over a year for an extended plan on my son's phone and they signed my phone up for some stupid mobile protection plan at $11 per month that I did not authorize. We had to call customer service and were told we would be given a credit. I hope the associates at Verizon understand that this out outright stealing from the customer. Can we go into the store and just take something of theirs without permission? I think not. We would be arrested right? read more
