I decided to purchase a new iPhone 17 thin.. I wanted all data transferred from old to new . I was told there needs an encryption security feature added to my account before the transaction was complete . --the APPLE STORE COULDN'T add the encryption--I was sent to the AT&T store ! AT&T plugged the phone --it worked ! The AT&T representative suggested a new screen & battery' both covered under warranty ! AT&T are absolutely scammers and they need to be held accountable. They offered us a promotion for $160 to get three lines to join a business account. We brought our phones over and did that and now they're charging us over $500 a month and we've been in there multiple times we've called customer service and everyone at this location acts like they can't do anything about it and we're just stuck here getting charged over $370 every month for something we didn't sign up for it and we can't return. I never leave reviews. But had to on this one. First off, I walked in and no one even greeted me. There were 2 guys watching TV instead. I should have just walked out then. The manager Jeff is who took care of us and is extremely cocky, pushy and was incredibly rude to both my husband and I, AND his employees. I was baffled at his actions the entire time I was there. You can tell he was ready to go- as he told his employee numerous times that he had to. It made me feel like I was being rushed and so many things were said in a short time that I feel like I was scammed. I came in last month for an upgrade and stated numerous times that we didn't want insurance. We also said numerous times we didn't want the case and screen protector and charging block but he insisted we didn't have to pay for it. I recieved my bill today and I was charged for both insurance, whatever home tech protection is AND the accessories! After going to a CORPORATE STORE (this is NOT a corporate store. The store I went to today said this happens all the time and they have to deal with it.) they were able to remove the insurance and home tech But I am still being charged for the first month AND there is nothing to do about the accessories. So I'm stuck paying for that. Not cool. Avoid this location at all costs. Unless you want to be scammed and be treated unfairly. Shame on you Jeff and AT&T!! You need to do better!!! read more

I stopped in prior to making an upgrade decision on my iPhone so I could see the models instead of relying on the website. One person was working which can sometimes doom a visit because the person gives off the vibe you're keeping them from doing something else. I went to this store after receiving a mailing telling me that there were changes to the pre-paid data plan i had for my iPad. The plan I was using was discontinued and unless I chose a new plan, my service would be cancelled. I only half understood what I needed to do so I called the AT&T customer service in the mailing. Unfortunately, the automated response couldn't find the phone number of my device (I had the number both on the device and in my previous billing invoice) and wouldn't let me talk to a real person. After several tries, I was frustrated and took the mailing to this AT&T store. I wish I had made note of the woman who helped me (I would have liked to thank her by name) because she really took her time figuring out what I needed to do and helped me through it. Apparently, AT&T is doing away with some of it's lesser plans and offering plans with a lot more data, 5G, and not that much more money. In my case, I went from 1 gig per month to 20 gigs at about $5 per month more. I chose to pay for the entire year and got 1 month free. The woman also changed out the sim card for me. I can do that but this was helpful. Although I only have my data plan and land line with AT&T, the folks at this store really went out of their way to provide assistance. read more

Apparently they get written up if they were involved in service being cancelled so they refuse to be involved. Service identically bad online and on phone, which is how I ended up in the store. Unbelievably bad. It must take considerable effort to provide customer service this bad. Walked in 2 PM saturday to upgrade two phones and add line. Should be easy enough. Talk to bearded guy working there. I'll pay for the two the third should be BOGO as per the current promotion. Dude immediately annoyed and tells me I'll have to pay for both phones. I know this -- I'd adding a line for the free one. He doesn't want to hear it. I attempt to show him my acct on my phone and how I can easily do the transaction online -- he tells me to do it online then. Rude moron. I did. In the parking lot. Picked up two phones and the free one at lennox location. Took me about 15 extra minutes. read more

STAY AWAY! I had spoken to AT&T on the phone about switching from Verizon. I was told to go to one of the retail stores to have them see if I could bring my phone with me. A young man came up to me and when I told him what I needed he couldn't help and said I would have to go to a Verizon store. I asked how would Verizon know if my phone would work on AT&T's network and I was told by AT&T to go to a store. He basically called me a liar and got very rude. Walking out I was mumbling under my breath due to my frustration. I said quietly to myself "why do the hire idiots". From behind me the rep I was attempting to have help me said "Do not curse". I turned around and said "what?". He then got aggressive and began to charge towards me. Another rep, who I believe was the manger, grabbed him and made him go into the back room. Instead of apologizing to me and trying to help me, he just told me to leave. I have never been treated so poorly in a retail establishment, nor have I been physically threatened. Complete waste of time dealing with these people; I have been a customer of AT&T for years and have always had my issues dealt with in a reasonable time frame and with a certain level of professionalism, until recently. I went into this AT&T store to make some minor changes to my AT&T billing account and some billing issues. I had my bills printed out with me and the devices associated with my concerns. I dealt with a man named Austin. While he was nice enough, he informed me that "stores are really only here for sales, not customer service" and told me to "go online or call them." And that, "yea, we don't have access to account details like that." I am confused on what the point of the store is then? If every problem is met with "I don't have access to that, go online," then why even be an AT&T store? Just be another Best Buy or Walmart. I will not be returning, a complete waste of time and energy; in the wise words of Austin, "just go online." read more

My wife dropped her AT&T iPhone 4S and cracked the screen--a common theme with us. As she was at least 2.5 years from her last new phone, we agreed that it was time for an upgrade. My wife called AT&T's customer service to confirm that she could upgrade her phone while keeping her current plan (with unlimited data--a leftover from the days of her iPhone 3GS). We drove to the closest AT&T store which happened to be this one on Henderson. The store itself is nice enough--a big open space, lots of phones at various price points and feature levels, various accessories and overpriced phone cases. We did notice that as we walked in, an angry guy was leaving shouting at a customer service representative (CSR) (the same one that would be helping us in a few minutes). After looking around for a bit, we started wondering when someone would help us. We flagged down a guy wandering around in an AT&T polo with a tablet thing. He logged us into the system and a couple of minutes later, our disinterested rep named Vitaly came over to "help" us. We told him what we wanted (a 64gb iPhone 6, while keeping my wife's current unlimited data plan). The process of purchasing and initializing the phone took much longer than we anticipated (at least 45 minutes) and the whole time our rep was surfing the internet on his own phone, answering texts and trying to get us to change to a plan that would have limited my wife's data usage. We told him several times we weren't interested and we had confirmed that we didn't have to change plans to get the new phone. Interestingly enough, while we were sitting and arguing with Vitaly, someone else called the store and began verbally abusing a different customer service representative (we only heard the CSR side of the conversation--a side effect of having an open space, but it we could tell this disgruntled customer was also very unhappy with their AT&T service). When my wife's new iPhone 6 was finally initialized and functional we hightailed it out of there (hopefully) never to return. Should you find yourself a potential AT&T iPhone customer, do yourself a favor... buy your phone online, at the Apple Store or basically any place else. As an AT&T customer, I stopped in here to transfer everything from my iPhone to a new Android phone (that I did not purchase there). I was told by the sales person that they could not transfer my account due to privacy issues. WTF??? I took it to another AT&T store and they transferred everything over for me, except my text messages....which I am still trying to get transferred. Stay away from this store, they are no help at all. It seemed like the Representative ( believe his name was Bishoy) only cared about making the sale and getting his commission. Once he brought us our new iphones X's and realized we didn't want to purchase insurance plan or phone accessories he rushed us out of the store. He never even bothered to offer us instructions of how to operate the phones. He had such an attitude with us we just decided we would leave and go to the Polaris Location with our questions. I like the service provided by AT&T as a /whole/ but this store was a bit disappointing. All I wanted was to upgrade my current iphone to a 6s. I arrived at 6:45, wasn't addressed until 7, and eventually left after waiting two hours for a representative to help me. The Easton AT&T store is much better, faster service. You won't be stuck hanging out in the store long after it is closed. I went home and ended up ordering my phone straight from Apple. The plus side is I can pay my bill here easily with the kiosk. read more

Stopped in, after buying phone, then had problems logging onto their so-called website. It asks for name and etc..but it takes forever for that page or line to type information on to pop up. The help feature on the phone itself kept saying "unavailable" so what is a person to do when there isn't anywhere on their website to get help, and calling thie help people gets you put on hold forever read more

I stopped in this store last night around 6:30 just to purchase a new Apple Earpod. When I walked in the store I only saw 3 AT&T Representatives sitting down with customers. After we stood there for about 15 minutes we were told that there are three people ahead of us and it would be about an hour wait. We walked out and returned at 11am the following day. Again we walked in and stood there about 15 minutes and were told there are two people ahead of us. I told the AT&T Rep we just wanted to purchase an Apple Earpod off the shelf. After waiting about another half hour someone eventually checked out our Apple Earpod. It only took a few minutes to complete the sale. I just can't believe they don't have someone available to check people out that are not interested in purchasing a new phone or tablet. How can they call this a store when it takes over an hour to buy anything. I will never shop there again. In the future I will just go to Best Buy or the Apple Store. read more

My daughter is disabled and was in three different hospitals for 92 days this past fall and winter. Her cable was disconnected (my fault) because I totally forgot to pay it. I called ATT and was told I had to return the boxes and start over. I thought it was unreal but got the boxes with the preprinted label ATT sent me and went to the UPS store. They wouldn't take it unless I had my account number. I didn't have it on me and couldn't pull up my account on my phone so I went over to the ATT store close by. The service rep that helped me would not give me my own account number! Since it was my daughter's house (even though the account is in my name) this idiot demanded POA! I had my guardianship papers, my ID and her ID and he still would not give me my account number. He was very rude and so very unprofessional. I left the store and drove to where I could get a signal and logged into my account and got what I needed. I will never ever use ATT again, and I think this service rep should be taught to listen before making decisions. read more
