I don't get the negative reviews, my experience at this store was exceptional. I made an order to switch carriers from another network to Spectrum, I did this online using the Spectrum website. I was then sent a series of emails on how to transfer the phones on my own. I knew if I tried to do this on my own it would end in disaster, so I made an appointment at the Sierra Lakes store. Tony was the Representative that assisted me and my family. I shared the information of what I wanted to do and he assured me that he can make it happen. Martha (Mgr) and her staff were great! Went in to check services and add a line of mobile service and Martha greeted us. She informed me of multiple savings avenues that I was not aware of even after researching online and in app. Her staff then followed up and were very helpful in completing all the changes and additions to my account. Came in just to port my number over to a free line , and since it was 20 min til closing they told me it would take to long to initiate a port. I called the spectrum customer service on the phone , and they ported me over within 5 min literally had it done over the phone before the store even closed . So someone was just a bit lazy at this location to do a port over that took less than 5 minutes. Bunch of employees standing around and couldn't do a port over. read more

Anthony helped us for the first attempt to return equipments, however our landline has not ported in yet. Anthony was helpful and explained to return after the phone line is done. This is what makes me so unhappy with Spectrum. An increase of $31 of our bill and they don't prorate so had to pay the full amount of our monthly bill . First time in a spectrum store had to drop off equipment . When you walk in there is kiosk right away where you check in. This place should have maybe 2 set up. I was standing outside behind 1 person to check in. That stand was so close to the entrance. Then as I find a seat I noticed what most people here complain about that there was one or two employees here. I don't get if that's one of the biggest complaints why this location hasn't fixed that. T-Mobile is in the same location and they also now service home internet for the same price. Just saying. My service representative was really nice and helpful. But I can see the frustration of a full building and only 2 employees. Did not have any interactions with this particular spectrum place but this is my concern I don't even have spectrum I've got a spectrum I've got a spectrum box in my front yard the box was so old and metal that had jagged edges on it and a little girl cut her leg.. I called spectrum They came out replace the box and put a gigantic box in my front yard that is way bigger than the original they dug up my yard without my permission And then try to cover it up with dead grass and trash what the heck Did you think I wouldn't notice that And left their orange cones I've called twice they're saying someone will come out to my property within 3to 5 businesses It took you about 5 minutes to F up my front yard but 5 days to come fix it .... Terrible customer service, went to spectrum today to fix billing issue, the guy pretty much blamed everything on us. We had our billing on auto pay yesterday. I noticed that it was taken off auto pay when I looked in the app. It was a different card that was not even mine to begin with the guy basically told me I've never had this problem with anyone only you, you can either switch to another carrier or pay the amount. Spectrum has made it close to impossible to cancel service, at least without having to invest hours of your time jumping through their cancellation process. Absolutely unacceptable wait times over phone and store front. Also requesting equipment back from an alarm service "they" discontinued years ago is a bit ridiculous. That should have been addressed when they got out of the alarm business years ago, instead they're trying to trip customers up on a technicality of missing equipment. First let me start by prefacing this complaint with why I was there in the first place. Att, my current internet provider, has had an outage in my area for the last 2 weeks. With that said I was looking elsewhere for more reliable service and Spectrum is within my area. I stopped by the store to start the process and was instantly asked in a demeaning tone "did you sign in"? I responded with "no I did not" which the Spectrum service rep Humberto responded with "Go sign in". .....alright already off to a rocky start as his demeanor, tone, and choice of words was not customer savvy. I tried to use the sign in tablet but unfortunately it was extremely unresponsive and it took me 6 taps and 15 seconds to get past the English or Spanish screen. After trying to type my name in multiple times and the tablet being unresponsive I then told Humberto that he would have to sign me in as the tablet is not working. He replied with "I am not going to sign you in"......after that I told him "well screw this I guess you don't want customers" and walked out. I returned later and asked him for his name, which he provided, and then followed it up with calling me crazy after scoffing. I also found out that the customer he was helping during this whole ordeal did not have a social security # and your rep told him to borrow someone else's. I am extremely dissapointed with your customer service and shady business practices. All he had to say was no problem I will get you setup in a minute and you would have had a new customer without this review.
