    Worst company! My grandparents were customers. After my grandfather passed away, my grandmother…read moredecided to sell her home. She cancelled over the phone. She was told that everything was ok. After she moved she started receiving phone calls about paying a bill that she didn't owe, because she was no longer a customer. She explained time and time again that she cancelled her service, that her husband was the name of the bill and he passed away! All of which does NOT fall under breach of contract!! She then moves out of state. They apparently sent her "account" to some bozo collections company called "perfections collections". Allow me to add before I go further, a collections company, claiming to be under Vivint, has been calling my grandmother (who did I mention is an immigrant and speaks broken English), had been harassing her saying that they are going to call the police on her! To add, that they are going to bring her to court and sue her! They then claim that she owes HUNDREDS of dollars more than what the original "outstanding" bill was. Now. I called Vivint on behalf of my grandmother to try and resolve whatever I could. To get any information so that this can stop. They state that ALL collection agencies that work under them, are good companies. That they do not handle legal issues and do not harass customers/outstanding persons. That this person that keeps calling her is most likely a fraud. I have tried to call this collections company and left a message for them to return my call. They have not. This makes me believe that this collections company is the fraud. How can they treat someone like this?! It's inhumane! They won't give her an account number or name or phone number to call them back and hang up on her every time. Something isn't right. All being said. I have personally been a customer of Vivint in the passed. There was NEVER an issue to cancel service. We cancelled and that was it! They are, however, handling my grandmothers case without regard (especially her health). The company that collects works under them. I am disappointed that they won't do anything to alleviate this situation with Perfections in any way, especially since there was NO breach of contract to begin with! I do not lie. I do not make false reviews. This is the Gods honest truth. We have had to also go so far as to get an attorney over this matter! If their collection company isn't the one harassing her then how do they have all her information in regards to this company?! A security company should be able to secure ALL their customers information. I am giving a bad review. I do not recommend a company that cheats people and handles them like cattle. I do not recommend a company that allows sub companies to treat people so badly that they end up in the hospital! Edit as of 9-12-2017: Our attorney received a notice of confirmed cancellation and good standing from the chief compliance officer. Everything is good now. Thank you Vivint for resolving this matter.

The contact can't be cancelled on the phone, and you must send in a letter with no confirmation they even received it. I find it ironic Vivint is suppose to be protecting you from thieves and they are the biggest on the block.

I finally got it resolved over chat in the app and it took 20 mins. Tiffany hasn't helped me at all in 3 months even though she said she would. The corporate office may wanna go check on this store, they are awful to deal with.

They don't have the customer best interest at all. Don't fall for the promotions like I did, because they really are too good to be true. I'm stuck with a tablet I didn't even want originally and $20 service fee after I was told by the sales rep it was free of charge and no monthly fee when I switched over to t mobile. I went back to the store to have this correct and was told it made no different to bill by the manager after there is clear as day a $20 service fee added to my bill for the tablet. I have the magnet military plan for one line it is $75 a month or $70 with autopay and with $20 service fee for the tablet it makes about $95. The manger told me I am not paying the $20 fee and the bill would be about $95 either way, that sales rep is very good at his job and gave me the best deal, there was no cheaper plan for me available. Which was a lie, there was a better option I just wasn't given that. You can go on the t mobile website and see the highest magenta military plan is only $85 and the one below that is $75. I even spoke to customer care after I left the store for second time that day just to confirm I wasn't misunderstanding my bill and they confirmed my bill would only $75 or $70 with autopay without $20 added service for the tablet and I was correct. I spoke with them before I went into the store and they encouraged me to go in person to see to speak with the manager and see what could be done on there end which was a complete waste of time. I wish I never switched over to t mobile and stay with my previously phone company and phone plan. It is shame that they allow employees to operate like that and finagle and deceive customers like that just to make a sale.
