    One star because that's what you have to give…read more One star because we were in and out in 20 minutes. One star because we did what we came there to do. TWC/Spectrum is a necessary annoyance. Maybe if we had other viable options for cable and internet, it would force them to provide a better product and better service. We stopped in to return a modem/router, as I was canceling my service. I had received a bill charging me for unreturned equipment. They give you no time to actually make the return before charging you the $70 for it! Our last month on my account, we alback in their handsso had so many problems that they promised us a $20 rebate on our next bill. My final bill on my account should have been a $20 check from them to me. Not being charged $70. We think we have it figured out now. The equipment is back in their hands and I should receive a check for $17 (because when they tell you what kind of rebate they can offer you for constantly disrupting your service, they don't *actually* mean to refund you that FULL amount...) But anyway....I can't change the way the cable and internet game is played. This location gets three stars because my wait was short and what we needed done was accomplished.

It was the same thing every year, call them up and tell them that my bill was too high and then they would enact some discounts that would save me about $30 a month but were only good for a year. So the next year I'd have to call them up and do it all over again. Well last November when I called to complain about my bill they refused to lower the rate. I guess that now they're a part of AT&T they are unwilling to negotiate on price. So I decided to try switching to DISH. BIG MISTAKE!!!!! DISH suckers you in with their low initial rate but then once you add in extra packages to get what you want it ends up costing MUCH more. I believe their current introductory package starts off at $39. Sounds pretty good right? But wait, you want local channels? Well that's not included. You have to pay an extra $10 a month for that. Who the hell doesn't want local channels?!?! You want a DVR? That's extra also. You have 2 TV's? Yep there's an extra charge for that too. So my monthly bill ended up being $70 a month. That's quite a jump from $39 but still better than I was getting with DirecTV so I decided to go for it. The phone operator told me about the 2 year contract and I told him, "Hey wait a minute. I'm not signing up for 2 years when I haven't even tried your service out yet." I forget what he told me exactly but he definitely gave me the impression that I could cancel if I didn't like the service. When the DISH installer came out to set up my equipment I also asked him about a trial period and he told me I had 30 days to cancel. So everything was going OK until the day of the Super Bowl. We missed the end of the game so I tried to find highlights on ESPN only to find out the package I had did not include ESPN!!!! I called up DISH and was told, "If you want sports channels, that's an extra $10 a month." Gimme a break. What a scam! So now I'd have to pay $80 a month for pretty much basic cable. No pay channels like HBO. I just wanted the standard stuff like Food Network, HGTV, ESPN. So the next higher package was $84 a month and included ESPN but took away DIY and Cooking Channel!!!!! How frickin lame!!! So now I wasn't saving money over DirecTV anymore and decided to cancel the service. I had DISH send out the installer to remove their DISH and take their boxes back. To top it all off now they're trying to charge me a $500 early termination fee even though 2 people at their company told me their was a trial period!! I have filed a complaint with the Denver Better Business Buereau and I will be taking DISH to small claims court if they refuse the waive the fee. Stay far away from this company people. Their channel packages are completely predatory and set up so that the only way you can get the channels you want is to pay for the expensive plans.

Received an email that he/she wouldn't arrive until 8:30-9:15 PM. Who does that?!? He wouldn't even be able to see what needed done outside. Called Dish several times AND used the app chat. No one can give me an explanation. I asked for a bill credit since the tech never showed by 5 pm. Of course I was denied.

I and my mother have used Insight for the past 3 years and she has had their phone and cable longer than that. WHY did the service suddenly get to be the crappiest on earth when Time Warner took over the same equipment????? I am so-o tired of having the internet drop all the time, all night long, when there isn't a load on it. I have been using testmy.net to speed check everytime it is slow. It prints a graph of your averages. I email this to them many times a week. It drops and is off for long periods of time. I got tired of wasting my life on their stupid menus and hold, so I just send the proof to them. I encourage everyone to do that and maybe they will improve! The phone drops parts of words so you can't understand a conversation half the time, just like a lousy cell service. They even cut my 85 yr. old disabled mother's phone off for several days (her only lifeline if she fell out of her wheelchair). I was furious and called to find out why. The stupid phone dropped the call during the explanation and I had to call back and start over--not once, but twice! The supervisor I got the next call finally told me her bill was lacking $20 on the payment, even though she had faithfully sent the payment on time, always. Why? They upped her bill without telling her, she paid the same amount and "their computer applied the amount of payment to the cable part and cut off the phone"!!! Just like that, with no notice, cut off the only way an elderly woman could get help if she fell out of her wheelchair or broke something. That is the most asinine thing I ever heard of! They didn't send a notice of intent or that they had done such. Nothing, no grace period, no explanation. Idiots! I threatened a lawsuit over that one. Why would anyone leave the tv going and cut off the phone of a disabled person? She couldn't even call them to let them know her phone didn't work! I've told them repeatedly that there is not ONE single person has ever told me they like TWC. Everyone, w/o exception always groans and rolls their eyes when you mention TWC's name. Everyone hates their lousy service, everywhere. My mother's cable drops all the time, just like my internet. I told them as soon as I can find another provider, I'm done! Their technician came to my house and replaced my tower, only to have it work a couple of hours and then I was w/o internet and phone for an hour and a half at 1:30 at night! It certainly wasn't overloaded then! It honestly is WORSE than dial-up was 15-18 years ago way out in the country!

    This is mainly a review of their install contractors. They suck. I was told I was serviceable and…read morethey show up saying I'm too far from the junction box, by 50 feet. Three days later a different contracting company shows up and installs everything without a problem. Neither contractor brought the equipment I asked for and I had to have 3 more visits to finally get set up. The Insight customer service is ok, but the phone tech support is lacking when it came to troubleshooting why I wasn't receiving certain channels on my TIVO. It ended up being their fault but it took a week for them to find the error, and another home visit.
