Spectrum sent us a letter in the mail in April 2026 to inform us that they would be cancelling our service on 5/11/2026 because they are unable to continue providing service at our apartment complex. Then they charged me the full $90 for service from 4/29-5/28. They said it's their policy to charge for a full month and not prorate. But they are the ones who cancelled my service. Absolute garbage company. Multiple outages over multiple years that I had them, with no clear time horizon on when the issue would be fixed - I should have switched earlier, I fault myself for that. We are with AT&T Quantum Fiber now and love it. Faster speeds and lower costs. Spectrum made cancelling impossible. Of course nothing on the website. Had to call twice - first time I got "disconnected." And the woman I was speaking to conveientely couldn't hear my phone number when I read it to her. When they had to place me on a "brief hold" to disconnect my services it was for 10 minutes hahaha. Oh well, on to greener Wi-Fi pastures now! Don't ever use Spectrum. read more

The gentleman who worked behind the counter was awesome! He helped me get my new phone and was personable. However, there was an issue with their check in system and the front check in receptionist refused to honor my time slot. However, when the next appointment came in and had the same issue she ensured that person was seen on time as she "noticed a trend with the system not working." I was a customer for 25 years and for the last 15 years i felt like a hostage because there was no better internet service available. They continually raised their prices while the reliability of their service went down.  When you try to cancel, they hold you on the phone for an extraordinary number of questions which makes it feel like they're trying to wear you out so that you don't cancel.  When I went to return the equipment, they offered much better pricing than i was ever offered online.  Why should I have to visit a store to see what the best pricing is?  Additionally, their billing cycle is designed to screw you out of at least one extra month so, beware.  The coup d'etat was the fact that they then informed me they were cancelling my e-mail address that I've used for 25 years, a casualty of my cancellation I suppose. I would give them a zero if that was possible. Stay away from Spectrum. From Sales all the way to customer service/account management, this is the worst internet and mobile company I have dealt with. They tricked me into an internet & mobile bundle for a price and a couple of days later told me that they are unable to activate the home internet and that they cannot honor the price they gave me for the 4 mobile lines. They're services are slow, outages all the time, and it takes forever to cancel! It took me over half an hour to cancel the services.

Don't do it. Their customer services is horrible. I found out this morning that cancelling your service REQUIRES at least 30 minutes on the phone with a rep offering you deals to stay. They will REFUSE to cancel your service or let you speak with a manager during that period. I said I wasn't willing to stay even if they offer me free service, so the rep went on for another 29 minutes. It was the most frustrating 30 minutes of my life and for that I will never give Spectrum another dime of my money. Aside from that, their pricing is high (I am now getting better service for 30% less). Service is mediocre at best and I am much happier with my new AT&T connection. read more

I have had the service at three property locations. The service started out well with an ever declining internet capability and an ever increasing monthly bill. calling customer service has always been a hassle where, instead of resolving my issues, their fix was always to up sell me to the next higher capability package to resolve the issue. Customer service reps were pleasant enough to talk to while you were complaining, but maintaining your service. Then, you get rudeness, difficulty in the disconnecting process, months of continued service charges, and weak excuses that are pointed back at the customer. Speaking only for myself, I will never use Spectrum again for any reason to include them being the sole area provider. Get their service for your own first hand experience, but know that the new shiny will always end up being a rotten regretted apple. This review is about the Spectrum Store and their mobile phone service. I could not be happier with their mobile service and their customer service both in the store and over the phone. I still have issues with tv cable service but that is not why I am writing this. We were on the $29.99 service for one line and 2nd free for one year. Well, the year is up and we are now paying $29.99 for each line which is still amazing for unlimited service. We just upgrade our cell phones up to the iPhone 16Pro and everything was so smooth and easy. The store reps we dealt with were excellent and very helpful. Trade-in on the iPhone 12Pro was fair and reasonable. Definitely recommend Spectrum for cell phone service! Also love their wi-fi but just ok with their tv. To me it is all about customer service either in store or on the phone and Spectrum wins hands down! read more

I was a long-time business customer for my podiatric medical practice. The service they provided was generally fine until I decided to retire and close my office. I called some weeks prior to my office closure date to discontinue service. I was NOT told that equipment owned by Spectrum Enterprise needed to be removed and collected by them nr was I told that I had a monetary credit on my account. Approximately 3 months after I closed my office, I received notification that since I was on Autopay, they charged the credit card on file for the equipment and they finally credited me for the positive balance I had on my account. During the course of dealing with their customer service department, they admitted that when I called them to set up a date to discontinue service, they never told me that equipment had to be picked up or I would have to pay for it. Also, they did not tell me that the equipment that they were charging me for was outdated and no longer of use to them. Finally, when they charged my credit card for the last month of service on my autopay, they did not credit the amount of positive balance I had on my account. I tried my best to amicably resolve this and I spent a lot of time making telephone calls and sending emails to no avail. I would certainly never do business with them again and I would definitely not trust them with my credit card information on autopay. read more

I recently switched to spectrum cellular service at clearwater fl countryside mall location. While there, rep stated that I could swap out my old #6 router for new #7 literally in a matter of seconds . He stated come in with old unit, I'll see you coming in , turn around and grab #7 out of cabinet and send you on your way. We'll I did just that be he was dealing with two ladies at the counter and basically left me standing there. I reminded him of his offer to simply swap and go, but apparently that was not be. It's rather sad that he was unable to simply turn around and take something out of the cabinet and send me on my way, but apparently spectrum reps simply tell you things that they ultimately cant/won't do. I've had SPECTRUM services for several years. The service costs have gone up considerably, and the services have consistently declined. I canceled the services and returned the equipment halfway through the service period. I'm being charged for the entire month, and only getting a $20 credit for the equipment. Spectrum will not take responsibility for THEIR error, which caused me hundreds in damages. A few months ago during a storm, I lost my internet connection. While power remained on in my home, Spectrum service was lost in my area. Later when I got a notification that service had been restored but my TV/internet was still not working, I called Spectrum for tech support. (I do not have Spectrum Cable TV, but instead stream through their internet to my TV). They ended up having to send someone to my house a few days later, as they could not find the problem over the phone. When the repair guy came out, he not only found that my modem, router, AND TV were damaged, but he went out to my yard and said that when Spectrum was installed, it had not been grounded correctly. His exact words: "When was your service installed? You were not grounded, but I've fixed it and you're all set now." He replaced my modem and router, but I still had a dead TV. It is clear that the issue came through Spectrum's line, not my regular electrical line since the other items plugged into the same power strip/surge protector were still working fine. The only things damaged were the modem, router, and my TV, which were all connected together....and it hadn't been grounded correctly outside according to their tech guy. Spectrum refuses to admit their fault with this. Even though the other items plugged into the power strip were fine, even though their repair guy said my Spectrum hadn't been grounded...even though the only things damaged were the things connected to the Spectrum line...they say it was not a Spectrum issue. I even told them that I was not expecting a full TV replacement since the damaged TV wasn't new....I would have been happy with partial/pro-rated reimbursement or even a credit to my account. They don't care. In addition, after my emails and calls to them, I had NO response. The only time I got a response was after I filed a complaint with the BBB. Even then, they say they tried to call me, but I have no record of that in my phone log, and no one ever left a message. Only after I called numerous times and demanded a response did someone finally actually call me. And my last contact with this person was a few days ago, when he said he'd look into something and get right back to me. Of course, no additional contact.
