WORST INTERNET PROVIDER I'VE EVER DEALT WITH I left Spectrum on October 8th, returned EVERY piece of equipment I had, and thought I was finally done with their terrible service. Fast forward to today--I check my account and find out they took $270 out WITHOUT my authorization, pushing my account into the negative. When I called, they had the nerve to tell me I "still have other equipment." Absolutely not. On October 8th, at the Spectrum store in Pinellas Park, FL, I explicitly told them I had nothing else. Not only did I live in my apartment for 3 years, but Spectrum techs came out multiple times and they themselves swapped equipment and took old boxes with them. Now suddenly they want to "investigate" -- but somehow they had ZERO hesitation taking my money instantly. Funny how the investigation only starts after they hit your bank account. And their answer? "We can't give it back." Spectrum is hands down the WORST provider in existence. Shaky service, constant outages, clueless customer support, and now apparently they just help themselves to people's bank accounts. Do yourself a favor: RUN from this company. They don't deserve a single customer. Everyone should throw away their business ASAP. read more

Very understaffed, staff themselves are fine but the line multiple hours even for just returning something

Spectrum makes it very difficult to cancel or change services. But they WILL add services you never wanted sometimes automatically. Whenever they send you a new box or modem it is imperative that you return the old one ASAP or they WILL charge you for it. Make sure you get a receipt too read more

Im now watching paint dry. Our service has been out for 4 days. No estimate on when services will be restored. I've been home on medical leave and my tv goes out on the daily. My internet is also out and I've had to use my hot spot and I'm being charged because I used too much data. Please check out other providers before choosing spectrum. So disappointed. read more

Spectrum mobile is garbage. Years ago I was convinced by a flip talking sales guy to get service with Spectrum. After trying to activate my existing phone I was told that my phone was not compatible with their service and I would need a new phone so of course he talked me into a purchasing a Samsung phone from spectrum. When the phone arrived in the mail it was a completely different phone. They gave me a really hard time returning the phone and disconnecting the service and now years later I find out that they build me for the phone and the service. When contacting Spectrum to explain that I do not have that phone and I did not keep their service they said the report is too old for them to be able to research and they refuse to do anything to associate my issue. In short, spectrum mobile is garbage, they suck and I would never do business with them under any circumstances. read more

Spectrum is the absolute worst. Our internet is less reliable than it was in 1985. Totally unresponsive and shamelessly incompetent.

Called to inquire about adding TV service, decided not to do it because of what channels it would give us. Told representative we were not interested at this time. 1 hour later got notification that they went and changed our service without our authorization anyway and added TV to our service even though we did not consent to it. I have had a terrible time getting rid of Spectrum. I finally went with another provider but Spectrum still won't leave me alone. A guy showed up and tried to sell me service even after I told him about ALL the bad service I had with them previously. Very poor customer service. Employees were defensive for zero reason and rude. They asked how much we pay a month for cell phone even though we just need a Wifi box, and when we weren't interested the employee was absolutely rude in her response. I would avoid going to this location. read more

Switched over from WOW because Spectrum promised three boxes for under $150. When the service person arrive to set things up he said that his record show it was only one box. Although he did a great job with set up, I'm very disappointed that the sales person misled me. I would've never switched over if I knew I had to pay extra for additional boxes.
