If I need a new remote control for my TV I can get one while I'm here. I'm not happy about my huge internet and cable TV bills. I have had the service since it was Time Warner and it's hard to let go. I'm finally tired of watching the same shows over and over so I am exploring more channels. Plus the addition of Disney Plus has been great. I watched Summer of Soul and this week Hamilton. As for the internet I've never had outages and I certainly have enough speed for what I do. I'm giving this location and my current feeling about Spectrum 4 Stars. I'm sure I will probably be disenchanted when my year of internet and cable discounts $20 a month each ends!!

The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.

Every time I've called to tell them that they increased the prices and I'm really unhappy about it, they miraculously have some promo that brings it back down to original price. ALSO, be warned that you also get charged a modem fee which they don't really disclose until you call to ask about it :) if you are stuck like me, just buy a modem yourself so you can save HUNDREDS of dollars per year and don't be stupid like me. Usually I deal with the corporate store in the Queens Center Mall, but I wanted to try this place first. He was super friendly, helpful and got me out of there in less than 30 minutes with an upgrade to the Iphone X. This is not a corporate affiliated store, but an Authorized Retailer so things work just a little bit differently here. I am not sure if he was the manager of the store, but he acted like it in a very professional manner and helped me out big time. He also gave me the pre-printed label and packaging to send my old malfunctioning phone back to Verizon which is a huge plus. Its nice to be able to get everything done locally and in one shot. Daniel made the experience of upgrading to my new phone a very pleasurable one and if you are in the neighborhood do not hesitate to head on in and get some professional service. I am sure the other employees here are just as good, but since I was dealing with Daniel I am giving him the shout out. Great job.
