Internet speeds are good and all but if you are making a decision on what provider to use I will say with spectrum expect at least one outage a month that lasts for several hours. It can be frustrating especially if you have a remote job. read more

spectrum offer the buyout program that if we move to mobile line they will ( offer buyout program has 30 days expiration )reimbursement our mobile phone so we paid off our mobile device all amount and move their line and they only pay me back partial amount reimburse and balance refuse to pay cause of one of the device is not 3 payment yet that's their reason to not reimburse remain balance and they are so horrible lier so what the point is I move to their line pay off everything .i been explain 2 hours at phone and so stressful .this is bad experience . read more

TWC set up an appointment to install our cable from 9-10. We waited and finally contacted the company at 10. The answered for TWC let us know the technician was on his way. After 30 minutes my husband contacted TWC. Again we were told he's on his way. By 11 I was ready to call it quits on this cable provider. I called and let the answerer know the service was sketchy and he can call his technician off. The answerer then informed me that he hadn't actually talked to the technician and didn't know where he was, despite the last 2 phone calls when we were told the technician was on his way. I held on the line while the answerer called the technician. When he returned to the line, he said the technician was at the post gate. The technician showed, Loren, at 11:11. I went in today to drop off equipment. There was only one gentleman working and the office was extremely busy. The worker was extremely professional and friendly so no complaints there. My complaint is this is the 3rd time I've attempted to conduct service at this location; the first 2 times I've ended up having to leave because of the wait time being over 20 minutes. This is by far the worst cable company I have ever had. Horrible equipment, over the top pricing, bad customer service, and they are shady. We have upgraded our account several times only to be charged double or more than what we were told. This has been true wether we do it online, in store, or by phone. I am currently paying for 30 meg internet..and it drops consistently, holding at 1-5 megs at best. I would leave them in a heart beat if we had another provider available in our area. read more

Horrible customer service! How does a company survive that fails to follow thru and deliver a service? We've been waiting weeks (not days and not exaggerating) for the sales department to send our contract to the installation team. Fire the entire management team and start from scratch, there are far more qualified leaders than the ones currently in place. Geez. Looking for other options for our next corporate event. This is by far the absolute worst company I have ever had to deal with. In my area the only provider available for use is time warner cable so unfortunately I had no choice but to use them for my cable and internet provider. Let's talk about price. OUTRAGEOUS. At one point I was paying over 100 dollars for basic cable and internet... NOTHING FANCY! no cool extra channels or DVR. No super speed internet. I had the most basic package you could get. Over 100 dollars. Mind you when I signed up for it, I was told my payment would be around 80 dollars. But you know 2 months down the road and my payment somehow jumps 20 plus dollars... Eventually I got fed up so I called back trying to cancel my services. But was told they could lower my payment ... magically. Because TWC is magical... Make my internet slower... Downgrade just one level... "It'll be fine as long as you don't plan to stream/download movies" NO. No no. Let me tell you. I couldn't even load Google... The easiest to load search engine ever.... I couldn't even load www.google.com..... I couldn't load any web page!!!.. that's how slow the internet was.... So I called again to cancel my services and then they offered me a faster internet speed (back up to basic speed that I had before) with the lowest cable package possible to make my payment only about 65 bucks. I thought hey I could do this... So I went for it... Months later I ask to cancel my services AGAIN. I no longer wished to have cable. Although I need internet, I couldn't justify paying 45 dollars for just internet... That's saying cable only cost me 20 bucks but internet was costing 45? I mean cmon. That's absurd. Together for 65 bucks isn't nearly as bad as the 100 I paid before but seriously 45 dollars JUST FOR INTERNET? I think not!!!! So I told the customer service rep. I didn't want anything at all and to cancel it all. After 25 minutes of arguing with me trying to downgrade my services for a Lower payment (after I told him I wasn't trying to downgrade anything just want it cancelled) He said okay yeah I'll get your refund sent just return the equipment it'll take 3 business days before it actually shuts off.. Okay over a week later I get billed full amount for the following month. Where is my refund? Why are my services still on? so I had to call BACK to TWC to get it cancelled again!!!!!!!! And a refund check to be sent in the mail only after I return the equipment.... My refund is seriously being held hostage over some useless equipment. I'm one of several people I know who have had similar or worse issues with this provider. I will never give them another penny of mine. TWC is almost impossible to disconnect. We have used many ISPs in our moves almost every two years. Today, for instance, it took me four people (Janitas, Jason, Antoine, Mary) to try to disconnect our $200+/month service because of our military move. Mary was finally able to schedule a disconnect date. She handed me off to a fifth person (Liz) who was supposed to schedule a pick up of equipment; she pretended that she couldn't hear me and hung up. We had TWC at West Point and experienced the same disorganized disconnect service system. The TWC office staff here in Radcliff, on the other hand, is very friendly and helpful. read more

TWC is really the only option available in my area and we needed internet for my husband's job. When we first moved we had a decent package of High Speed internet and a medium cable bundle for $65/month (tax and everything). Our bill went up to $150 after our 12 month mark and has been outrageous ever since. I tried everything I could think of, and talked to several (over a dozen?) people trying to straighten out my bill, even to the point of attempting to cancel service. Trying to cancel service was almost impossible as well and I was finally talked in to keeping the minimum $14.99 internet and basic $19.99 cable. $35 seemed ok for bare essentials (checking email and local channels) so I agreed. EVERY bill for this basic minimum package is over $70 because of taxes and fees. We are not getting nearly the product as the first year but I figured we'd move soon so I could deal with it. Now every other month our bill is raised $5 for some tax or fee. How our package more than doubles is insane. Thankfully I am moving in a couple of weeks and will not have to deal with them again. read more
