There are absolutely not enough words to describe my moms experience at Atria at Foster Square. My…read moremother was one of the first people to move in and was blessed to have 10 years at Atria. It has changed our family in so many ways! Atria gave us a place to meet and also a place to watch my mother thrive. We miss Atria so much and cannot say enough about the staff. Thank you to Freddie and everyone.! We miss you ALL so much!!! Ps The dogs really miss coming to see you all!

2024 Review We…read moretoured several assisted living facilities and chose Atria, primarily for the "quality of care" and Parkinson's support promised. A few months in, the nightmare began. Having a parent with a neurodegenerative disorder is stressful enough, let alone having to continually stay on top of the care team and ultimately take time off work to meet with directors. Medication management was poor. I was contacted multiple times (to call the doctor) to help with prescription refills. Med techs almost never delivered meds on time despite time sensitive needs. My mother's "off periods" and symptoms increased with the inconsistency. She became very ill. Call button response was insubstantial. Wait periods were up to 45 minutes for transferring, toileting, ect. There were times when no one responded. These services were part of the care level package. Meeting with the executive director addressing quality of care concerns, fell on deaf ears. Instead of acknowledging the problem, (weak leadership, staff shortage, employee retention) my parents were blamed. They were accused of "not using the call button correctly" and "being inpatient". They were paying for services not received and being told THEY were the problem. Last straw was telling us that my mother was no longer allowed to eat in the dining room claiming no caregivers allowed to help with feeding - despite this being standard. Why didn't they just move out? They eventually did but easier said than done in our nuanced situation. Initial tour and interior aesthetics are deceiving. Proceed with caution folks.

All are attentive, caring and personable. Dolores (DiDi) has been our most regularly scheduled caregiver and we love that we can just open the door and she takes charge of the meals, laundry, bathing, other personal care without us having to prompt her...and she cleans up after herself. Thank you Di Di and thank you Synergy

In response to Saili the owner who just commented on my review I will reiterate that I DID NOT call…read morethe caregivers after their shift. I would never do that. In fact I have never called the caregivers on their cell phone at all. I was told by YOU that I am NOT TO CALL MY MOTHER AT HER HOME when the caregivers are there because the caregiver Donna wants it that way. My friend and my husband heard you tell me this, as you were on speakerphone. You know very well I did not do that as that is not my argument and you don't have any record nor do the caregivers that I have called them. You are speaking untruths and you know it. I have read other negative comments about your business. You must scroll further down. They are surely there. Pictures paint 1000 words and that is proof enough of which I have 3. I also have my husband to verify and my sister who you spoke to as well, where you forbid ANY contact with my mother when the caregivers are there. Your employee Stephanie was at the coffee shop too where we met discussing all the horrific practices going on with your 'caregivers'. She saw and heard you laughing at my concerns as to the 'care' my mother was given. And you are really trying to base your response on me calling the caregivers after their shift??? That is your only retort? And a lie, no less. People concerned for their family care, think twice and then run!
