It's an okay place to live. Just know that, however nice the place/amenities are when you move in, know that it's the nicest you will see them. The amenities are slowly disappearing... one movie theater gone, another one broken... the fountain at spectrum town center has never been turned on since I've lived here. majestic's lobby has a light that flickers ominously and has for probably close to a year at this point at least. it's like a horror movie when you walk in, I don't understand how they don't get a damn lift and replace the damn bulb. fix the one remaining movie theater. the maintenance on your individual unit is usually pretty good tho. read more

This apartment complex has been an nightmare. Nothing is up yet. California Tortilla was suppose to be up by July and until today, it still isn't open. The club room has limited hours, the business center has no printer so, there's no point in me using the computers in there, no alcoholic beverages in the clubroom and the terrance which sucks. Management is horrible. I barely see the property manager and the leasing consultants never know anything when you ask them questions or they usually just give you b.sed answers just so you can leave the office. I have been in the Spectrum for 6 months. I love it here! Theres a gym down the hall from me with all the equipment I could ever need for workouts. There's a movie theater for residents. There's an additional gym in the other building. Great location. The two terraces offer great outdoor space. The actual look and feel of the building and community is aesthetically beautiful. Great views of Gaithersburg and the skyline. The actual apartment has tall 10 foot ceilings. Great stainless steel appliances. Good atmosphere. They just built exit 12 directly next to the building so it's super easy to get on the highway. They are building a Starbucks and more restaurants. Nothing but positive things to say! read more

The cafe downstairs plays music very early in the morning even though their is no one outside. Do not move to Paramount West they don't care. We have live in the Majestic Apartments in Spectrum Town Center for approx. 3 years and will be signing a lease for our 4th year. We love it here. We love the security, the parking garage, the elevators...these were things that were important to us. But there's more. The apts are wonderful. You have in unit washer & dryer, stainless steel appliances, quick response to any maintenance issues, or other issues brought to the attention of the staff. There is 4 great restaurants right outside our doors along with nail and hair salons and dry cleaners. The location is great. And soon to get better as MD is in the process of creating an entrance/exit onto I-270 from Watkins Mill Rd. We'll be able to avoid Frederick Ave and Montgomery Village Ave. traffic. I would highly recommend Majestic as a place to live. Many other great amenities and activities are offered. It's a 4.5 to 5 star rating in my book! read more

I don't think there's much more keeping me here except a 3 months rent lease breaking fee. Since I'm waiting outside for the fire truck to leave on the middle of the night so I can return home I'll buttet point my grievances... 1) very little communication between staff and residents. We'll sometimes get a note in the for bit most of the time things are posted on the elevator and mail room. 2) severe disorganization in the office. Above is an example. Our parking was assigned yet we need to tell them? When I moved in, I was assigned a spot that they thought was open... Incorrectly. When I went to go to work the next day my car was blocked in and I was late on my second day. When I went to move spots recently when I bought a new car, Scott hasn't a clue where to put me into I suggested what I thought was an open spot. He simply told me it would be OK. I didn't see him write it down or open the map so I'm sure there's no documentation. This isn't the only time. There have now been THREE times I've been awoken in the middle of the night by fire alarms. Kind of severe right? Never found out why. Another thing? They waited months to tell me I never signed a lease addendum... You'd think they'd want my John Hancock on that. 3) major office staff changes more often than Katy Perry changes costumes in a concert... This is why we're so confused! And you lost Jim who was, I swear, one of the only competent people to ever work here. 4) package notifications! They keep the packages on the office which is very inconvenient for me. They're supposed to email us as well as call us on this. Ice spoken to them a number of times..... I guess they're working on it. I've only lived here for 9 months.... Heard that the entire time. There also have been a few little incidents. Several nails and small metal pieces lying around the garage floors, dog poop left in the hall etc. Also, shoddy construction in general. I've had to have my walls fixed for cracking as well as now they're digging into the drywall and ceiling to figure out why there's water damage. I'm sure I'll think of more as I get out of the fog from being yanked out of a dead sleep but I think I got the major points. read more

Still haven't received my check and no one, not even the manager, can give me even an estimate of a date of when I'll get it. The manager Megan said that the check had been mailed overnight on 8/14, but I haven't gotten anything in my mailbox or the mail room in my current apartment. Called back twice to verify that they have the correct mailing address and they do. Have placed multiple calls and left multiple messages to the staff there and it's always the same story of reassuring me that someone will call me back, but no one ever does. Been living here for almost a year, and my experience has been almost uniformly positive. I'm surprised to see so many reviews complaining about the staff, because I have had nothing but good interactions with them. There has been a lot of turnover in the office, but that's been the norm in my experience when it comes to apartments. Everyone has been helpful and courteous, and they humor my dog when she comes to visit, which she likes to do several times a week. I haven't always gotten a prompt notification about a delivery, but I've seen how many packages they deal with on a daily basis, so I cut them some slack. If I'm really concerned about getting something right away, then I track the package through the shipper. Not a big deal. I find the rents to be very reasonable, and not much higher than some of the more basic complexes in the area. I live on the top floor of my building, and there *have* been some issues with cracks in the walls appearing as the building settles. I consider that normal for new construction, though, and I've never had an issue with maintenance coming to repair the cracks in a timely fashion. Here is a list of the things that I most like about living here: - Controlled access at building entrances and garages - Assigned parking spaces - Cleaning service takes care of the common areas on a daily basis - Amenities (pool, club room, movie theater, tv room, etc.) - Very pet friendly (lots of dogs) - Finishes (granite countertops in kitchen and bathroom, good tile on bathroom floor and shower) - Energy efficient (never had an electric bill above $70) - Elevators in both buildings (one of my dogs is 14 and can't go up and down stairs easily) This isn't to say that the place is perfect, but any complaints that I have actually relate more to some of the other residents. Noise can be an issue at times. My apartment is above the main entrances of both buildings, and it's not uncommon for people who going out to linger in front of the doors and have loud conversations late at night. There's been a problem with people not picking up after their dogs, but management has been working on combating that and it seems to have helped. Some people aren't very considerate when it comes to the common areas, either by making a lot of noise or by not cleaning up after themselves. Nothing too serious, but it can get old after a while. Still, you have to expect some of these things when you live in an apartment. I'll be renewing my lease when it expires in a couple of months. I recommend the place, and I suggest that people check it out if they are looking for digs in the Gaithersburg / Germantown area. Oh...I'd be remiss if I didn't warn everyone that there is a Bruester's ice cream shop directly across 355 from the apartments. That could be a real problem if you have a sweet tooth and very little willpower. Trust me...I speak from experience. read more

The apartments are nice. Newer construction with modern finishes. The issue with this place is the people. Tenants have no respect for others. There's dog poop and litter everywhere. This is a no smoking community, yet people smoke everywhere. The people working in the leasing office don't care (except a few). This apartment/town center area is beautiful. I have lived here now for 2 years, and I just renewed for one more. The first thing that really shines in determining which apartment to live at is the maintenance and the staff in my opinion. Everything is brand new, but on the occasions that there was something that needed to be fixed, it was always taken care of within 24 hours. You can even submit the request easily online. All of the staff, from management to cleaning personal are professional and friendly. Barry, the building manager, is especially helpful. This will not be the cheapest place to live at, but I certainly feel like I am getting what I pay for. There are also thrice weekly concerts in the courtyard. New eateries and other business are opening up as well. Everything is new, modern, and sleek. Would recommend to friends and family looking to live in the area. Pet friendly! One last thing I almost forgot to mention after reading a few other of the reviews. Many of the poor experiences (if dated over a year ago) may have been under the other management company. They were not great. The new management team is amazing. Just FYI when making a decision. Update 2018 - The new community manager, Todd, is fantastic. He is responsive and professional. I have been living here since May of this year. At first, we were a little concerned regarding the reviews. We checked this place out a couple times before signing the lease. The complex is beautiful and the staff's very friendly. It's been about 3 months since we moved in and we love being here. The location is great- only a few minutes from 270- and fairly close to grocery stores, restaurants and the mall. They have great amenities such as a movie theatre, library, fitness center, outdoor patios and a very spacious club room with a pool table. We utilized the pool several times this summer and it was never overly crowded. Very clean facility and we enjoy the complimentary coffee machines in both buildings :) We have a tandem parking spot- and we were a bit worried it would be a hassle but it hasn't been a problem at all. Our friends come over and visit often and parking has not been an issue. There is also live band music out in front of the Barking Mad Cafe. Overall, our experience here has been great so far. It's pretty quiet and the facilities are never overcrowded. The building is new so we haven't encountered any problems with our unit. We live on the first floor with high ceilings and a balcony. This place is a mess and tenants who want to do whatever they want know that there is no one paying attention to rules or regulations. Fourth floor always smells like weed, people put out their trash in the hallways not during trash times, people park with no permits in the garage and sometimes not even in spots, there's no security walking around at night when people are up to no good (at least at the Majestic). This location needs sooooo much more organization. Poor and I mean POOR communication between "management" and tenants. They said vague emails no specifying anything and they claim they told you something. I doubt we'll be staying here long which is sad because this location has so much potential. read more

I have lived in the Paramount Apartments for more than a year now -- it is a nice place to live that is well kept up. My unit over looks a park, which is what I wanted when I moved in. I also like the underground parking and the exercise room. The apartments have elevators to my floor, so I do like that. I am giving the Paramount 4 stars instead of 5 because over the past several months there has been a new restaurant being built out at the first floor of the apartments, and they have started construction early Saturday morning. The restaurant is supposed to open in two weeks, so I am hoping that I can report back that it is great and was worth the inconvenience. read more

Ever heard of the expression "Everything that looks good to you isn't necessarily good for you." That's exactly how I feel about the Paramount because the outside looks very appealing, but the insides are terrible and will have you regretting that you signed that lease. I moved to Paramount back in October 2014 after conducting a search of the highly rated apartment properties in the area. Jim, the Assistant Property Manager at that time, had assisted me with my entire move-in. Jim was excellent with helping the residents and ensuring the residents had everything they needed. He kept everything together at the property and for some strange reason, the leasing office had sadly notified us that Jim was transferred to a Kettler property out in Virginia. This was a crushing blow to the property because he performed a lot of the grunt work that continued to solidify the resident's living experience. When he left, the quality work down hill quickly. 1.) I continued to have parking issues where other vehicles would parked in my assigned space located in the gated parking garage. It was getting very aggravating when you arrive home late from work, just to find an unknown vehicle parked in the spot I pay monthly for. You're then forced to find parking on the street, where I later learned from another resident that there was a rash of vehicle break-ins on the street. Whenever I contacted the leasing office about the situation, they wouldn't take any actions on the individual parking in my space. At least when Jim worked there, he would place tow stickers on the vehicles parked in my space. With the new property management, their attitude was pretty much like what do you want me to do about it!? I asked the leasing office on several occasions to the tow truck company that is contracted with the property so that I could have any vehicles parked in my spot towed and they wouldn't release the number to me. I noticed that several of the residents who had reserved spaces in the garage would post 'RESERVE PARKING' signs in front of their space as a warning to other residents to not park there. When I noticed this trend, I quickly knew the issue with parking was getting out of control. 2.) I recently discovered that Studebaker, the submetering company that Paramount is contracted with to bill it's residents for water use was overcharging my unit. My water bills was anywhere between $50-70 dollars a month. I knew the amount was too high because I had just recently moved from an apartment complex in Germantown and my water bill was anywhere between $12-20 dollars. When I brought this issue up to the leasing office, their response was that they had nothing to do with the billing, that it was all on Studebaker. I took that information spoke with someone at Studebaker. I told them that I felt as though I was paying way too much for water usage. Studebaker requested to have the water meter in my unit be replaced. I had to wait nearly 3 months for a brand new water meter to arrive. After the water meter was replaced, I continued to receive high water bills for a few more months. I asked Studebaker to send me a record of my water usage and provided me with water readings for the past 3 months. I researched some information on the WSSC website (Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission provides water for the area) and found out that based on the average usage of water I was consuming, I should have been only paying about $15-20 dollars each month for water. I provided Studebaker with all of my fact findings and they were forced to issue me a credit for all of the months that I was being overcharged. I partially blame Paramount for this because they are contracted with these thieves. Paramount provided me with absolutely no assistance on this matter. Since Paramount didn't assist me with my own investigation and since they're still contracted with them after having factual evidence wrongdoing, that leads me to believe that they were in on it. 3.) The back stairwells smell like ammonia, like people's pets have been urinating back there. I won't say that someone allowed their dog to poop in the back stairwell because the dog might not have been able to hold their bowel movement, but I will say that the dog owner never came back to get the dog poop up. Whoever the triffling nasty resident was, they left the dog poop right in the stairwell where it was very unpleasant. Honestly, I won't be renewing my lease. I refuse to pay all of this money and the leasing office neglects to stay ontop of the issues occuring at the property. I'm paying close to $2,000 a month. I expect this place to have superior customer service and high quality furnishings. Maybe Kettler can bring back Jim and make everything better. read more

The Paramount was truly a hidden gem to us. My wife and I had been looking for a new apartment for about a month when we happened upon Paramount355 by going the wrong direction and needing to make a U-turn. Once we decided to walk in, we were greeted with such a welcoming manner by the leasing agent (Alicia). She took the time to walk through all of the available options based on what WE needed in an apartment, not just what she thought would get us to lease. Alicia's professionalism and personality were huge factors in motivating us to lease, not to mention the beauty of the property/community. In looking at a few other properties over the following few days, it was evident to us that we were comparing these other properties to The Paramount. We leased with Alicia a day later. From the first visit and on through to our move-in, all of the staff here have been pleasant and helpful beyond all of our expectations. Having been a resident for five months now, I can surely state that we couldn't be happier with our decision to make The Paramount our home. The staff has continued to treat us like we are valued tenants, and the neighbors here make us feel as though we're a part of a community -- which is extremely rare in the D.C. area. As the retail stores and restaurants are on the verge of opening, we look forward to what The Paramount at Watkins Mill community has in store. read more

I have two friends who are currently living at the Paramount and I am there almost every day. I think the staff could do a better job at being interactive with not only visitors but residents as well. That is probably the only complaint I have about the paramount. I think its a great environment otherwise. It is always kept clean and very quiet once the leasing office closes. I noticed that some people are complaining about the noise but I have not experienced any of that after spending the night there several times or just hanging out during the day. Its very exciting that residents now have all these shops that are opening downstairs. Barking Mad will just top it off. Keep up the good work !!! read more

Just resonating the fact mentioned by others that their staff is the most unfriendly/incompetent and thoroughly clueless bunch we have encountered. This happened on 6/8/14 We were impressed by the property; It was clean, modern, almost like 5 star hotel-esque. However all that fell apart the moment we started speaking to the leasing staff lady about the property. She bluntly stated that they had zero availability at the moment (despite the huge LEASING NOW sign hung from the building). She encouraged us to check their web-site out; Which was the reason why we were there in the first place....we had checked their website out and wanted to see the property. Unfortunately, she did not even offer us a tour of the property, let alone any model apartments (which they don't have, apparently). Poor salesmanship from the leasing staff of a place that wants to emanate luxury' and 'high-end' vibes. Paramount, here is a Pro-Tip for you: Hire a competent sales and customer service staff that actually cares. There is a reason why other, similarly fashioned 'luxury' rental management companies command the market- They have competent staff. read more

I lived in this apartment complex for 2 years. The apartments were a very nice choice for a young single working professional like myself. Easy access to 355 and I-270. J-9 bus to Medical Center within walking distance (1 mile). Pros: * Location * The complex is still new. I was the first tenant in my studio. * Highly efficient appliances. * Very high ceilings, * Nice amenities like swimming pool, grills, library and gym. I totally loved the stationary bike in the gym. * Free coffee. * Interesting unusual "angular" floor plans available. * Choice between FIOS and Comcast. * All sidewalks maintained in tip-top shape during the winter time. * California Tortilla in the building * Competitive pricing on studios and 1BR. * Controlled Access * Pho Viet restaurant across the street Cons: * constant fire alarms late at night for no reason. * Bursting pipes in the garage. * I asked for a storage unit and I was not able to get as they were "almost ready" for the duration of the 2 years. * Noise from rt 355 in some rooms, so forget about sleeping with your windows open (and I am a sound sleeper). * Shady characters appearing as guests of tenants on a property. Just check crimereports for the number of drug-related busts on a property. 1-2 drug related arrests are reported a month for 2015. I have to say I never witnessed any arrests. * Total havoc in the leasing office, with personnel changing very often, and, of course, new personnel totally unaware of decisions made by previous one. I give just one example: parking permits. Previous team distributed parking permits with numbers not corresponding to the numbers in the garage. New team asked to re-register old parking stickers with them. Fine, I did it so promptly both by email and by visiting the office in person. Now, new team started issuing new parking permits with numbers corresponding to the numbers on garage lot. And one night I got a surprise: somebody else parked in my space with valid permit. * Bike storage had no lock on the door, and located in a very inconvenient part of the building. But let those cons not discourage you. This is a great place for young single male professional, and I would definitely rent there again. Especially I heard that the newest management is way better than the old ones. read more

We stayed at paramount apartments for 18 months and had the most wonderful stay. The staff were awesome and the apartments the best ever. Would have stayed there forever but had to relocate. The most luxurious and well kept apartments in Gaithersburg. A very special thanks to Megan Zaveri. Jim, Alicia and Pedro who always helped us out with our maintenance issues ( wonderful people) for making our stay so comfortable and amazingl there. The covered parking was a life saver for me during the winter months and i'm sure other residents will agree with me. As far as appearance when you walk into this place is actually stunning! One building has a Victorian style apartment and the other is modern and chic. Only good thing about this place! The residents of the community are very discriminating and closed minded so if you don't fit into a certain profile you WILL have an unpleasant experience. You are promised a lounge and amenities that are supposed to be open 24 hours and they are not. You are charged for parking in a garage that is unsecured( do too many malfunctions) and un regulated. Several times people were parked in our assigned space... I have had several guests get tickets for parking on the street in places there were supposed to be avaliable. The second month living there I received a letter saying that I owed over 500 dollars in rent, which was impossible because I moved in with a special giving me the month for FREE. There is a gross amount of negligence among staff members and little to no communication... If you try to call their office no one will answer and you will always get a voicemail message. I have called several times about business related issues, left voicemails and never received a return phone call..( unless it regarded me paying them money) I have even hand written a letter and drop it off at the office and never received a reply! ( being a minority person I have to either think that this is gross incompetence or racism?) the cleaning staff either does not speak English or is unfriendly because they will never reply to greetings such as hello and good afternoon. On the weekends this place is the worst, I guess their maintenance staff doesn't come in until Monday... I have smelled the odor of garbage in the hallways and have literally seen animal unire stains in the elevator. I can continue with legimate complaints in this review but hopefully I've shared enough of my experiences to show you that this unsavory place is to be avoided at all costs, you're better off moving back in with your mother. read more

Complete and utter disaster-- I have never written an apartment rating before, but I can't sit on the information that I have and allow this to happen to someone else. Please, PLEASE look elsewhere. The "luxury" apartment community that Paramount is attempting to portray is a complete façade. I have horror stories for days, but I'll give you the cut-and-dry: - Complete lack of communication between management and leasing (2AM fire alarms sounding, fire trucks arriving, evacuating residents for an hour during last year's winter storm, AND NO MEMO OR EMAIL SENT BY PARAMOUNT STAFF EXPLAINING THE SITUATION--this happened on 3 separate occasions.) - Filthy common areas; animal feces in the hallways and elevators; diapers and random trash left in the entry and hallways; stained common area carpets/walls - Paper-thin walls through which domestic disturbances can be heard on a weekly basis (I actually put Moco's direct line to non-emergency police as a contact in my phone after several violent occasions next door.) - Incompetent leasing staff, whose attitude ranges from completely aloof to rude and dismissive; (In mid-December, when my apartment was 97 degrees with heat turned off, a leasing agent claimed that the recent warmer temperatures had warmed the concrete building, and thus turned my apartment into a sauna--he also claimed that, since he is working on his engineering degree, he understands how heat conduction works--good luck that degree, bro...) - When issues were not resolved, even after police involvement, I asked to speak with someone higher up than the property manager. The PM gave me his wife's personal cellphone number, as she is supposedly the "director of operations." She was outraged that I'd called her personal line and told me that she could not address my situation because it was her "day off." - After all of the headaches, my attorney advised me to simply pay the $3000 fee and get the hell out of there read more

These guys have been great! My husband and I just moved in and the apartments are beautiful. We got a great deal on our rent and the staff was wonderful throughout the whole process. We moved from the King Farm area apartments and these apartments are a world above. They have real stone countertops and better appliances. The place is maintained really well and the one problem that we had with our AC making noise, I emailed the staff and by the time I got home from work, they had already fixed it. We've also noticed that the apartment itself is very quiet. While we do not have anyone living above us now, we do have people to the sides and we have not heard even the faintest noise coming from either side. We are very happy with our new home and are very glad we made the switch. The better rental price and quality of the apartment makes up for the little extra commute time to Shady Grove metro. read more

I have lived here not too long and I must say that I am already getting pretty frustrated... This was a great place when I signed lease but the situation has changed... The staff isnt very helpful - they arent able to answer basic quesitons - they change the rules they have imposed on the property all too often - The property is clean but they have limited the ability to enjoy them - they have no parking anywhere within 500 yeards for residents and-or guests since its only for resturants and business'... but there isnt anything open as of today and all that is currently in the property is residents and their guests- The residents with children have allowed them to damage the pool table and the pool sticks in the entertainment room beyond use. I have witnessed on several occasions children grinding the tops of the sticks into the ground or scratching the pool table with the actual stick! They have recently imposed new rules not allowing residents in the entertainment rooms after 10. I can understand but that is a rule that should be limited to Sunday through Thursday. I work full time and I go to school so its limited time for me to enjoy the amenities that I pay so much for. The entertainment room should go back to being 24 hours like it was when I signed my lease. The elevator had a woman trapped there for and HOUR since they didnt have any alarms set up to call for help not to mention the time when it completely dropped 3 stories with a couple inside!! There has been a vicious dog biting, the garage is never locked like it should - whats the point of having security when its NOT working???!!! I mean its just out of control!! It's just something that makes me think maybe i should consider Hidden Creek since they are still 24 hours for the activity rooms and they have a IMAX theater for the residents to use also 24 hours. I'm still considering my options since I want to be sure that the price i pay is giving me all the amenities I was promised. Beautiful property with great amenities in a prime location. Also, The new property managers that have taken over have completely turned this place around. I have been a tenant for over 2 years and I found paramount for the most part a great place to call home for a single dad. I experienced the issue with the elevator being down for a month and it was inconvenient but I understand that techs are slow (one of the buildings that I often work from their elevator was down for 4 months due to God knows what). There are a lot of pets but I haven't had an issue with anyone. One thing they need to improve on it's an area for a playground or a field for kids to play. the one field that could be use for playing its use by dogs and most owners do clean up but still stinks. the pavilion area its too small and the grass its fake. My building its nice and well maintain, I don't really go to the other buildings so I don't know the state of majestic or the other side of paramount. The staff gets a "good" rating but really only because of Ishi, She has always been so helpful, attendant and great to work with. She is the only one in there that seems to care and not just be there for a pay check. I did just renew my lease on sept so I do like it here! read more

I lived there for 3 years thinking the neighborhood had potiental, and am glad I finally made the decision to move! Hip Management or their "family owned business" is one of the most unorganized communities! They literally do not know what they are doing, in the 3 years I lived there, we experienced 4 different property managers. The walls are thin not only can you hear your neighbors you can smell what they are cooking, they have mandatory $20 trash valet per month for an enclosed building and guess what ends up happening the building ends up smelling horrendous people leave trashcans in the hall they basically robbed me of $260+ for a service i never used because because it's disgusting, the gate to the parking garage is often broken, an elevator was left broken for over a month, animals relive themselves in buildings, its supposed to be smoke free is ISNT, the red brick building is constantly a party zone, you can complain about neighbors they do nothing. It is NOT LUXURY! Its like a college dorm! Its literally just optics an illusion of luxury. they have been developing for over 3 years with little to no relevant retailers located below for tenants to take advantage of. Similar communites such as Pike and Rose and Downtown Crown have been developing over the same span of time with so much more amenities and both as easily accessible to the highway and actually are luxury apts. Too many kids and inexperienced people are running the property. Barry Sonne was the best property manager they had and he did the right thing by leaving, and since he did a year ago the community has gone down hill majorly! They a have a marketing team which is a JOKE as well the development has nothing in it to market besides the cafe they own as well... if you plan on spending $1,500 or more on rent a month go elsewhere! read more

I am very surprised to read the reviews where people mentioned that the staff are great. This is very wrong. I am one of the first residents at Paramount and if I am upset with anything..it is the staff. The women staff are never happy to help and they are very blatant about it. There is always a big deal of miscommunication between them and believe me...you have to be behind them for anything that you need their help with. The community looks flashy but there is very poor sound proofing. I can always hear the foot steps from the resident above my apartment, even in the night. Infact I can also hear their toilet flush, not that I listen for it. The management says no alcohol into the clubroom or terrace but no one follows that. The manager Megan and her assistant Alicia who I heard is going to be the new manager are only nice and friendly until they make you sign the lease. After that if you go to meet them for anything, they will rush to send you out and you won't feel nice at all about it. Manager Megan tells she will get back when contacted but believe me...she never gets back and when you go back to her next time, she forgets the whole issue and you have to start from the beginning. Paying high rents one would expect a management that is ''HAPPY TO HELP''. These people are never so. One of the residents once told me that she got locked in an elevator and when she went to complain to the leasing office..they were like we already knew it, don't u !!? Then, should they not put a notice outside the elevator that it is malfunctioning? Whenever I have to go deal with the leasing office, I hate myself for living here and being lazy to move out. I live on the first floor in the west building and they sometimes rent the club room for parties. The party can go on until late night and can be very loud. These things can actually be taken care of but they don't. I have more than 6 months of lease left according to my agreement and if they don't address issues I am going to complain to their corporate office and will break my lease. I heard Megan left and felt very happy and I am hoping that a friendly manager comes. Parking is a problem here and stores in this complex never open. It will take a few years before they open. These apartments filled fast only because they ran a huge rent promotion. Otherwise I wonder where they would be ! They send notices saying that they give high priority to keeping it clean and that residents who do not pick up after their dogs will be fined but no one cares at all. Few people walk their dogs into the lawns so that they do not need to pick up after them. I don't recommend this apartment to anyone until they have nice people in the management who want to take care of these issues and be helpful when residents need them to be. Forgot to mention one important thing. In the beginning when I rented here one of the staffs accidentally told me that they use to write good reviews for themselves and the apartment faking that they are residents. I always lived in upscale buildings but their promotion and lies about having good staff fooled me !! So beware of the good reviews. read more
