Quick and efficient. Came in for a flat repair and was in and out under 30 mins. Very reasonable pricing as well.

It took time because I dropped in on a full mechanic shop. They were able to work me in. Their interactions with other customers was impressive. I felt they were honest and up front with everyone I saw. Anthony took great care of us and was a great representative of the shop. Highly recommend these guys.

I tried to bring my car in yesterday for an oil change, but they said, at 1 PM, "booked for the rest of the day." They offered me at 8 AM this morning. I asked if there was anything later as it's a little bit early for me. Ultimately, yesterday, I scheduled a 9 AM. I showed up a few minutes early. My service rep, Dawn, explained that I needed to wait just a few minutes as she was texting another customer. Strike one. I kind of doubt that a text message couldn't have waited 2-3 minutes for me to get checked in. She looked around at an empty behind-the-counter and said somebody would be with me shortly to help. A man came out and got me started. Eventually, she came over and took over the transaction. She asked if I was going to wait or come back I asked, "How long will it take." She said it would take "a while." "How long will that will be?" Remember, I HAVE a 9 AM appointment. I have gone to Jiffy Lube in the past. Usually it takes 15 to 20 minutes, but never any more than 30. All other shops for which I have had an appointment, whether it be a dealer or another oil shop, they take an hour to an hour and a half. Her response? "Noon." That's three hours! She also explained there were a lot of cars ahead of me. I reminded her that I had a 9 AM appointment. I firmly, but not rudely, expressed the fact that that was not acceptable. I don't know if it will change anything, she simply said, "we will see what we can do." This is totally unacceptable and uncalled for. What's even the point of having an appointment then!? I can't think of any reason why I would ever come back here for the treatment I received and pointless and unprofessional process of scheduling. Had they told me upfront that it takes 2 1/2 or three hours at least I would not have come, or at least I would've brought some work along. Instead, I am wasting my time! I don't know the corporate structure, but it seems like this might be a franchise operation. In addition to writing here, I have not notified their corporate headquarters about what's going on. In the restroom, they have a professionally mounted magazine article talking about the nation's best tire store. The magazine article is dated from 2007. IF this store used to be good, they should take that magazine article down as now it's an affront to what it is today. I thought all should know how this shop is REALLY treating their customers. Don't bother trying to make an appointment. It doesn't seem to really matter.

I'm writing this review due to a specific encounter I had with Jared and Ohana at the Millbrae location. My uncle had purchased 4 wheels and tires From them a few months ago. Shortly after that he got a nail in his tire and had it dealt with elsewhere. Somehow one of the required hub centering rings got misplaced and he started having highway vibrations. He ended up going to another shop to deal with the vibrations they charged him a small fortune to rotate , balance and align the vehicle. During all of the "work" this other shop did. They removed the other 3 centering rings and never bothered to install them. Instead they half ass centered the wheels and over torqued the crap out of all the lug nuts to compensate for their stupidity. My uncle is a very kind and patient man and after paying to "fix" his vibration and having it vibrate and shake even worse afterwards. Instead of going back to raise a fuss. He asked me to inspect the vehicle. I immediately found 4 missing center rings and one wheel destroyed by being forced on crooked due to missing centering rings. At this point I was livid. I called the "shop" that took his money , lost his rings and ruined a wheel. They asked me to hold for 23 minutes then told me. "The tech is pretty sure he installed the rings. But he's not sure they'll still be there ...." Ok that's the stupidest thing I've ever really heard. Realizing that they were a dead end. I instead called America's Tire and got Jared. Jared listened to me kind of frustratedly explain that I needed a new wheel and 4 rings. He was kind , knowledgeable and efficient. He put me on hold for like 3 minutes confirmed he had the rings and a new wheel and he facilitated my being able to pick em up on my lunch break. On my lunch break I met Ohana who was also kind , knowledgeable and professional. She helped me get my parts and skidaddle in a very efficient way. Given that the so called "shop" that caused all the mess is the Firestone across the street from them. I'll say this. America's Tire is leaps and bounds better and more human and knowledgeable than the folks across the street. They took the time to help me fix the issue and they actually cared. I've admonished my uncle to steer clear of Firestone and to only go to Americas tire as a result of these two distinctly different interactions. Jared. Ohana. Thanks for keeping it real and thanks for helping me take care of my family. Good on you !!

The same service woman who had helped me initially looked dumbfounded and said she will tell a technician to get right on it. It took another 45 minutes to get it done. I still tipped the technician but a lot of my time was wasted. Despite being free, I'd rather pay a local tire guy $35 to get it done in 15-20 minutes. On top of that, the repaired tire was overinflated. WTH. Never again. Waste of my time.

I was scared and never experienced this before. Very very unsettling, and I immediately started calling around for help. After contacting several places, including visiting Costco in foster city with no avail, I was told that many locations didn't have the tire size I needed. My vehicle has 18-inch rims...not common to carry. Finding a replacement wasn't as easy as I expected. Thankfully, this shop was extremely helpful. Not only did they have used tire I needed in stock, but they also took the time to walk me through my options and provide recommendations for future tire replacements. The front desk lady was super kind and friendly, very helpful and I appreciated her support. Very refreshing to have a memorable kind interaction. I appreciated her very much during this scary moment. What stood out most was how supportive and helpful everyone was throughout the process. They answered my questions, called me back with updates (their inventory and finding solutions), and genuinely made me feel safe and taken care of during a stressful situation. I felt they CARED. When you're dealing with something that directly impacts your safety on the road...and limited options due to it being 6pm with many local shops closing...that level of customer service means A LOT. I was able to leave with the used tire I needed and return for the future replacement they ordered for me (new, exact, and with warranty for 50k miles). Their team went above and beyond. What spoke most to me was their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made all the difference. Go with them. I'm incredibly grateful for their assistance. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for honest, knowledgeable, and caring service.
