We visited area 15 for the St. Patrick's Day pub crawl and the LIFT OFF during sunset was the highlight of the night! Thank you, KRISSY, your customer service is on point!

Liftoff Bar & Ride was pretty cool. When we were there, we had a weather alert for Thunderstorm & Sandstorm warning. But after a few hours, the weather cleared up a bit and we were able to checkout the ride. Everything in your pockets needed to be placed in the provided lockers. You could take a drink up with you if you bought it from the bar. Pretty cool views of the surrounding area of Las Vegas. Unfortunately, the operator helped put the required safety harness on my camera, though it was on backwards so my camera was at a odd angle. Oh well. He did help.

This was part of our level 2 access pass so we gave it a try. There's no bar on the liftoff but you're welcome to buy a drink then bring it on. You get a pretty good view once you get to the top. The bartender helps everyone take pictures. The whole experience is 7 mins long. I would not recommend buying a ticket by itself. Do it as part of your access pass. They do have lockers to store your belongings. They also lend you these neck phone holders.

Aloha gang! After a long day at Area 15, we ended with a ride on the LIFTOFF bar. It was in the evening in December and it was chilly, so if you go at that time, dress warm. It was nice having drinks above Area 15 and they give you plenty of time to sit and enjoy your drinks. You are not required to buy drinks, so of you're just going for the ride, that's okay too. I highly recommend finishing your visit to Area 15 with this attraction if you purchased a ticket that includes it.

This bar is a really cute. The bartender was very nice. They don't serve food here. It is outside. Next time I go to Area 15 if it's warmer out I will sit and enjoy my drink. See my pics

From down below, it doesn't look so high, but from up high, it's actually scarier than it looks. They have a bar and lots of outfoo seating. There's a parking lot right nearby. The passion fruit margarita is delish, especially if you're not into alcohol. The bartender is helpful and nice. There's plenty of alcoholic beverages as well. I didn't think I was scared of heights, but this thing definitely proved otherwise. This was my first time but might be my last. ..only bc it's a bit scarier than I anticipated. I would still recommend to others looking for a good view though. I'd prefer night view as oppose to daytime view since you get to see all the lights on the Vegas strip at night.

So this ride costs $15. There's a bar next to it and it's encouraged for you to buy a drink and ride this. You go up a small amount and you stay there for 10 minutes or until someone in the group is tired and wants to go back down. I'd say it's an average experience. It's not worth $15... And only worth going on if you bought one of the access passes.

This was a pretty cool experience. It was included in the Area 15 pass and we were happy to check it out. There's a bar at the bottom and you're able to bring your drink the lift. It's a decent sized circle so a big group can fit. I want to say the whole thing was maybe 15-20 minutes? You do a few slow circles at the top and get a nice view of Vegas.

Fantastic views, affordable prices, informative staff and a nice drink! Liftoff Bar & Ride is a must try experience that our group really, really enjoyed. The pricing was more than fair, we had a great time talking with the staff and great "helicopter-esque" views for a fraction of the price.

This observatory ride was fun but definitely not my favorite experience at Area 15. We visited the Illuminarium on Aug. 26, 2023 without even realizing that Area 15 had so much more to offer. The Lift-Off ride is hard to miss, so we were curious and decided we would return to try it out, so we came back on Aug. 28. There isn't much info available on their website about the logistics of the ride. We weren't sure whether they switch out riders in certain increments (e.g., every 20 minutes), what time the ride shut down for the night, etc. However, we still purchased tickets online and decided we would inquire when we visited the other Area 15 attractions. We discovered that you basically just walk up to the ride and wait your turn. There's no set time for the ride to...lift off. (See what I did there?) Our timing was perfect as a group was getting off as we approached the ride. There was only one other couple present around 8-something o'clock at night. Safety first. Buckle yourself in, secure your cell phone in the neat little rubber lanyard they provide, and then slowly ascend. The ride doesn't go up as high as it appears to from the ground. I was hoping we could see the sphere from the top, but nah. The ride does rotate so you at least get a 360° view. I don't recall how long we were up there, but it seemed sufficient. The view is nice, but again, you're not very high up. Our hotel room was probably higher. They have a bar directly next to the ride and even allow you to bring your drink with you, but as specified in their rules, they don't allow intoxicated persons to ride... Lol. I didn't order anything though. Beside the bar is an enclosed courtyard with the bean bag toss game thingy, a birria food truck, and some seating. They were having a weekend block party both nights we visited. Nothing huge but pretty cool.

FEAR. We all have experienced it at some level. Fear holds tremendous power but you know what's greater than fear, is overcoming it. You can Forget Everything And Run, or you can Face Everything And Rise. The future really does revolve around the choices that we make, and what we do now changes everything. LiftOff is a new attraction at AREA15. This is not a fast thrill ride, it's more of a gentle lift that ascends up to 100 feet above ground level. The ride in itself is quite unique and offers a chance to experience a 360 panoramic view of the surrounding area. As Dale Carnegie once said, "Do the thing you fear to do and keep on doing it... that is the quickest and surest way ever yet discovered to conquer fear." Once I got on the ride, the fear of heights all of a sudden came out of nowhere, and there was no turning back. The ride doesn't have a harness, what's holding me securely was a seatbelt. It takes about a minute to reach 100 feet and once you're up there, the ride rotates for about 5 minutes giving you a bird's eye view of AREA15. You'll also see a glimpse of The Strip. This ride was a little scary for me, I went during a time when Vegas was still encountering strong winds. There wasn't anyone else on the ride but me and the attraction operator Cara, and we both felt the shake. If you can imagine an upside down pendulum, that's how the ride felt like against the wind. It may not be a big deal to other people but the fear was real. As soon as the ride descended, I felt a sigh of relief. At least I know now what it's like to be up there, and seeing things from a whole different level was an awakening experience. Just a note: Any loose items like wallets, keys, and bags must be placed inside the lockers. Unless you want to take photos with your phone, they will give you a lanyard. Also, if you happen to purchase a drink, they do have cup holders on the ride.

    Crystal C.

Pros: What a fun experience. We went in the daytime, but I bet nighttime would be amazing. Cons: None I can think of.

    Cool place
    Lucho V.

Cool outdoor venue with a ride. Nice decor and a good drink menu. No food but you can bring your own. There's a good truck opposite side. I ordered a mojito and a canned beer. A bit pricey but when it's hot outside anything will do. The ride was fun and priced reasonably. Great views of Vegas.

They had live music on Saturday nights that starts right at 10p. After we got our IDs checked, we walked in and were immediately overwhelmed. It was very loud, very busy, and looked like your typical dive bar, which was cool. There were no seats in the front of the bar, at the bar, or even the tables in the back. After ordering our pizza, we finally found seats to eat near the pool tables in the back. We ordered the Champagne & Reefer, which is their supreme pizza. We were hungry so this pizza hit the spot. More please, indeed…read more Mas Por Favor Taqueria y Tequila is a taco shop and speakeasy in the massive and often cramped Center on Spring Mountain strip mall. It's closer to the Valley View end and can actually be easy to park at in the afternoon if you're going for happy hour as I did (available Monday all day, and 3-6pm on other days). I wasn't quite sure where to go so I asked an employee up front about doing happy hour drinks, and he showed me into a long hallway dressed up like a mining tunnel. At the far end was the door into the bar area, which was pretty empty mid-afternoon until some other parties joined me. I sat at the bar and looked over the menu a bit then placed my order. First out was my happy hour cocktail. I chose the Mas Dog 20/20 ($8.00 happy hour)), which sounded like a decent if very fruity gin cocktail and came out pretty sweet and very fruit-forward. Turns out it's inspired by something called MD 20/20, which sounds like malt liquor but for people who need it to be sweet. It was actually pretty decent to sip on but isn't the best match for what I ate, and I ended up squeezing limes into water. The food came out all at once. I really wanted to try the Elotes ($3.00 HH), a delicious creamed corn app topped with crushed Hot Cheetos. It's actually a really addictive dish and one of the most fun bites of the whole thing. I also tried one of each taco available on the current happy hour menu. The two Street Tacos ($3.00 HH) were both solid, with barbacoa serving as the more delicious beef option while the carnitas were actually not as dry as other versions I've had. The mild green salsa and somewhat more medium-ish smoky orange salsa were both great complements to both of these. I enjoyed these, and one of the other tacos, despite the stone cold tortillas they were served on. The two Signature Tacos ($4.00 HH) were a little more dichotomous. I loved the Muy Caliente with its al pastor, chipotle sauce, jack cheese, and Hot Cheetos crumbles. The Gringo, on the other hand, was as boring as or worse than the archetype of the white person taco, with no crispy shell or tomato to help with the monotony. Luckily, I had some lime and salsas to play with, so I wasn't bored to death. I enjoyed the speakeasy area. It wasn't too dim, especially at the bar, and the favorite weapon of the T's in Counter-Strike was on full display behind said bar. There was a mariachi-sounding song being played when I first got in, but they inexplicably moved on to what I later realized was a music video playlist from the top of the aughts, aka my formative years listening to top 40 / pop / hip hop. Quite the nostalgia trip, especially when I later found out that my bartender and the couple who also decided to sit at the bar were from my hometown. I would come back to Mas Por Favor for happy hour, maybe Taco Tuesday, and definitely some of the other interesting signature tacos on their regular menu. It may not be the most comprehensively awesome spot, but it's at least a pretty solid option for eats and drinks.

Such a fun little spot but you have to find it! I had the Rice and Chicken Tinga bowl. So good…read more I was a bit disappointed that they were out of Michelada mix. And typical Vegas restaurant, their software couldn't split the bill. Not sure why every city in America can split a check except Vegas!
