We took our car in to get work done on it. 3 weeks later, we have a massive oil leak and are told are the head gaskets and need to have them replaced and will cost $5,000. We never had any oil leak before we took our car in. It took them almost 2 weeks to look at it. Once they "figured out the issue" and discussed with them why there was a problem with the head gaskets when we got the work done they stated our car was 100% perfect now. They never called us again, took them another week till we finally gave up and went to get our car. I am very disappointed in the service at this location. I would not recommend it at all. read more

Buyer be aware. "As is" means "As is". I wish I could do a half star after this experience. I bought a used 2018 truck less than a month ago, and as soon as I left the dealership, a vibration occurred and stayed the same over a certain mph. Unfortunately, when the test drive occurred, I ended up being right under this paticular mph which I felt nothing. I called back a day or two later after I went through every diagnosis I could. All I was told was that they did the so called "99 point inspection" which they sent to me after this complaint. That inspection isn't as good as the piece of paper it was typed on. Now, the truck has to have a transmission. Wow, it could have lasted at least a month or two before it came up. All they could say is, it is yours. Man, what some customer service. As long as they get the sell. It must be nice to check tire pressure, fluids, and a bunch of nuts to see if they were tight and call it an inspection. If you decide to go here to by a vehicle, bring your own personal mechanic to do the inspection. I hope you all enjoy your commission. read more

I made an appointment on Friday for a Saturday morning front alignment. I took my truck to them on Saturday morning and dropped it off, I didn't get a call until closing time saying that their alignment machine was down and that they couldn't get to my truck until Monday morning. I'm thinking that I'll be the first in line on Monday but after about noon I called the service rep. and she stated that they'll get to it later because they have other appointments. I stated; "But I had an appointment on Saturday". I didn't get angry, I just went to the dealership and picked up my vehicle, and took it elsewhere. Lesson learned. read more

Stood and waited and waited for two people who worked there to even acknowledge me. Finally someone walked out, walked right t by me without saying anything. I kept standing there. The guy that walked right by me said Sir, has anyone waited on you. I said no. He apologized for walking right by me. He said, "Sir, have you been waited on? I said no. He said I apologize for ignoring you. I said that's ok...everyone else has! He said... How can I help you? " I said I have these recalls from Ford. He said oh, we don't have the parts come back in a week. I was so irritated I will drive to another Ford dealership and never buy one for this company. Never purchased a vehicle from this dealer I doubt I ever will due to this experience. read more

I have been a very loyal customer for 10+ years. My 2012 Fusion has a service recall for the front passenger airbag. The first letter about this I received over 2 years ago. At that time I was told no parts available and they would contact me when they are available. Last week, I received a letter from Ford stating that the parts are becoming available and repairs would be done during the 2nd and 3rd quarter of 2018. They also said that I was eligible for a rental vehicle for up to $30.00 a day. Speedway Ford uses the local Enterprise rental company. Checking their website, that rate would only cover. Sub compact, and maybe a compact vehicle. Much smaller than my Fusion. After 2 phone calls to Ford's national customer service folks, Ford has changed the amount to $44.00 a day, which should cover a comparable vehicle. The major issue is the lackadaisical attitude and effort of the service department at Speedway. When I buy a vehicle from a dealership, I fully expect the service department to be a part of the sale. If you're of the same mindset as me, you will be just as disappointed as I am. I will be looking at a different dealership very soon! read more

So very slow. I had to bring my car in for service and left it for over a week. It still wasn't fixed when I returned to pick it up and I had to wait an additional two hours to get it. If all this weren't bad enough the price was over $100.00 than was anticipated. As a result I would not recommend bringing your car here for service. read more

Walter Wolfe was very professional and accommodating. He did a great job finding exactly what I wanted, and also helped with all the new "razzle dazzle" features that the car had.. After purchasing SEVEN brand new Ford Vehicles from this dealership they really treated me poorly and let me down on my Seventh. My seventh purchase from this dealership was a 2012 F150. At 9,000 miles it started having a severe vibration at interstate speeds. After EIGHT trips to their service department, it is still not fixed!! On several of these trips three of my wheels were damaged. Ford finally convinced them to repair the wheels, only after the General Manager accused me of having the damage done at different shop and refusing to doing anything. Well the repair of the wheels went horrible. I now have four different color wheels and they will not replace the wheels they damaged. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT USE SPEEDWAY FORD (GRIFFIN) I thought I should let all my friends know about an experience I had with a Ford dealership, Speedway Ford dba Griffin Ford Sales located 1710 N Expressway, Griffin GA. We went to this dealerships service department back at the end of Nov. for them to inspect a used car from another dealer we were looking to purchase. It took them 3 hours to finally look at the vehicle. We were told they would do a full inspection over everything in the car so that we knew what we were getting. The cost $75. I went and looked at the car while they were doing the last part. They came back and told us that brakes and tires look good and everything else is good, just a few minor issues and they listed them. We went back and bought the vehicle from the other dealership with the assurance that this inspection should have provided, based off what we believed to be an informed inspection. After this, a few months later we found out that they had not done an inspection as promised and gave false information. My brakes were at 1% they would have noticed that they were low during this inspection but we were told they were great. I was watching them do the inspection they never took off the tires, which now i know that means they never really checked the brakes. I am not a mechanic so I did not know that at a time. We also ended up having to have pay for other parts that were not discovered, but would have been during an inspection. Also, belts etc were dry rotted. This company lied to me about the inspection, charged me for it and there lying to me cost me a good deal of money. I called and spoke to Rusty Bowman, the general manager as soon as all this was discovered at the beginning of March he said he would look into it and would contact me back. He pulled up the invoice right then. I could get no response from Mr. Bowman at all. I hired an attorney a month later to get my $75 back in an effort for them to apologize and make it right. However, Mr. Bowman played games with both my attorney and I. He said my car was never seen there. And kept badgering us for receipts we sent a letter from my bank showing the charge from them.. Then he turned around and said that they did nothing wrong. Since they did not inspect my car that the invoice only said they checked for an off/on issue. Which was not true. Their invoice clearly does say it was an inspection. He has refused to provide the owners information saying its none of my business. His secretary called me a brat. All of this is on tape..He told me just to sue them. I kept calling for the owner Thomas Johnson but was hung up on and put to Rusty instead of them answering the phone, they just transferred to Rusty. He has refused to admit wrong doing OR give a refund without stipulations. I dont want my friends ripped off by a company that lies to women! read more

This was the easiest, most pleasant experience I have had, and I have bought several cars over the years. I usually dread car shopping because of pushy salespeople, bait and switch tactics, and "I have to ask the manager" games. However this was so different. Yonathan Alemu was the salesperson I dealt with, initially through 3 days of emails. I contacted several dealers at the beginning of the week, and he was the most cooperative, found the car with the exact features I wanted, and offered me a great price on the car, my trade in, and financing - no games. I picked up my 2015 Ford Focus Titanium this morning. Yonathan and everyone at the dealership could not have been more accommodating. And no last minute surprises or add-on fees. I am very happy with my new car and my car buying experience.
