Right off the bat, I am not surprised this coffee spot has such high reviews. When my friend and I met here, we were impressed not only by the drinks and gelato, but by the service, as well. Sweet N Brew has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with a European-style cafe feel. When we visited, we were the only ones sitting inside for a while. Several pick-up orders were coming and going, but having the space mostly to ourselves made the experience feel calm and relaxing. I ordered an iced caramel latte, and the owner, who was also working the counter, asked how sweet I preferred my drinks. She even mentioned she could adjust the flavor if needed. The latte was absolutely perfect on the first try. It was creamy, smooth, and well-balanced without being overly sweet. I also ordered a scoop of coffee gelato in a cone, which paired beautifully with my drink and tasted rich and authentic. What really stood out was the owner herself. She made friendly conversation while taking my order, and it was clear how passionate she is about her business and the quality of what she serves. That personal touch made the visit even more memorable. I do wish this spot were closer to me since I live in Schaumburg, but it is absolutely worth the drive. I cannot wait to come back and would highly recommend Sweet N Brew to anyone looking for great coffee, delicious gelato, and genuinely warm service. This place is right next to my State Farm office. Been wanting to try it for a long time. My friend visiting from AZ suggested it. Ambience was good. We tried the jelly and Nutella crepes. Delicious but I thought they could have been more substantial. Both gelato flavors were delicious. Had a nice cozy atmosphere and all the tables were full. I think this cafe is worth a visit. Stopped by here on the way to the zoo on a Saturday morning. Ambience: The cafe was clean, lots of space to sit, but still decorated well. Service: The staff could not have been friendlier. The woman who helped us was extremely helpful. Not only did she explain the menu items to us clearly, she offered to adjust sweetness levels after we tried our drinks. We were discussing the brand of coffee they use and std even offered to get us a bag to buy in the future if she knows we are coming in advance! Food/Drinks: First, the brand of coffee, essse caffe, is phenomenal. We have tried this brand elsewhere and have never been disappointed. My husband got a cloud 9 latte which was very good: the cold foam was very fluffy, exactly what you expect when you hear cloud, and the sweetness level was perfect. I got the caffe freddo, with extra sugar, which was made perfectly. I also got a chocolate croissant, fresh out of the oven. We went to Sweet n Brew Cafe (SBC) Sunday, September 12 for breakfast. They have received a very good reviews and a 4.9 on Google. We ordered Sweet cheese crepes, one with strawberries and one with blueberries and strawberries. Additionally, we ordered a Frappe - blended iced coffee drink. We enjoyed the crepes but were not impressed with the Frappe which we ordered without the gelato. SBC has a nice little patio area to the side with seats appropriately distanced. The entire place is very clean and the staff that we encountered was very nice. If you're looking for a very light breakfast and a coffee this is your spot. If you want something more substantial there are places close by that fit the bill. We rated SBC 3 because we felt it was a bit steep in terms of cost for the amount of food served. As previously noted, we enjoyed the crepes so if you just want a very light breakfast this might be your spot. read more

So the BF discovered this gem! Been here 3 times including today! Took some of my family and they loved it! My parents enjoyed the savory crepe filled with turkey breast, mozzarella, and mushrooms. My brother, niece, and I had the strawberry Nutella crepes. My other brother enjoyed banana and Nutella while my nephew added an extra topping of bananas accompany strawberry Nutella. My husband and I were looking for a new coffee/tea place other than Starbucks, and what a nice surprise. Its a little coffee place but looks really nice inside and what's most important has Great drinks, delicious food and nice service. We looked through the menu and- I got iced tea with fresh fruit and croissant, my husband got expresso and for my son we got fresh strawberry-banana smoothie. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was great, she really made us feel welcomed and told us little about the place and what they offer. With the COVID is hard to find new places and we got lucky and found something we are going to visit a lot more. Great food, but... This is the latest offering for a location that has cycled through various European-style cafes. The proprietor was very welcoming. The patio was nice. The selection of crepes was great and they were delicious. Prices were reasonable. The desserts were fresh and nice. All good, right? Why not four or five stars? This... Like I said, this has cycled through a number of cafe incarnations. In the past, tables are filled with people who linger forever over one espresso and smoke. Not exactly lucrative and off-putting to many. Honestly...smoking?? For our visit, this version was the same. Two tables of the patio housed one party, milling about, having loud phone conversations, smoking, and one guy was obviously very sick - like sneezing and coughing and watery eyes sick. After all we've been through with this lockdown if someone can't have the sense to stay home I certainly expect establishments to have the sense to say GET OUT. I'll try it again but I've got to admit that if I see people camping at the tables as described I'll turn right around again. read more

My coworkers and I wanted crepes and this place popped up on Yelp. The 5 of us met there for an early lunch. It's a quaint coffee/food shop. There was one barista who took our orders, made our coffees and our crepes and then brought them to us since we decided to eat outside in the outdoor patio. Luckily it wasn't busy or I don't know how she would've handled it. I ordered the mocha latte and the savory crepe (turkey, cheese, spinach). The mocha latte was ok but the crepe was very tasty. It had a slight crust at the edges and the there was just enough cheese but not too much surrounding the spinach and turkey. My buddy ordered the nutella banana sweet crepe and I tried some of his as well. It was also tasty but how could it not be with the nutella? :) Prices were a little higher than normal but it still wasn't super expensive.
