Had some basic cafe items in Addison. It has a pretty laid back atmosphere when it's not busy of course. Sweet N Brew has coffee actually better than the food to be honest. A lot of customers get it to go. The place is pretty small so there's limited room for hanging out and stuff. Coffee is actually the best stuff to get here. It's got a limited food menu. There's mostly just crepes to eat, of which there's a few on the menu, or you can build your own with fillings and toppings. A limited amount to get. It's about $5.75 to get a latte. Pretty basic stuff. Has non dairy milks including oat. The food options are pretty light stuff. It's about $13 to get crepes. The Crepes have options such as blueberry if wanting to get it sweet. Also they have a few savory ones. The prices are pretty high for these. Only bad thing about it. The rest of the menu includes cookies and pastries. Great place for a light breakfast. Right off the bat, I am not surprised this coffee spot has such high reviews. When my friend and I met here, we were impressed not only by the drinks and gelato, but by the service, as well. Sweet N Brew has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with a European-style cafe feel. When we visited, we were the only ones sitting inside for a while. Several pick-up orders were coming and going, but having the space mostly to ourselves made the experience feel calm and relaxing. I ordered an iced caramel latte, and the owner, who was also working the counter, asked how sweet I preferred my drinks. She even mentioned she could adjust the flavor if needed. The latte was absolutely perfect on the first try. It was creamy, smooth, and well-balanced without being overly sweet. I also ordered a scoop of coffee gelato in a cone, which paired beautifully with my drink and tasted rich and authentic. What really stood out was the owner herself. She made friendly conversation while taking my order, and it was clear how passionate she is about her business and the quality of what she serves. That personal touch made the visit even more memorable. I do wish this spot were closer to me since I live in Schaumburg, but it is absolutely worth the drive. You can choose your crepe flavor along with the fruit topping, and if you're feeling it, you can also get a scoop of our favotite Gelato on top of your crepes! We went to Sweet n Brew Cafe (SBC) Sunday, September 12 for breakfast. They have received a very good reviews and a 4.9 on Google. We ordered Sweet cheese crepes, one with strawberries and one with blueberries and strawberries. Additionally, we ordered a Frappe - blended iced coffee drink. We enjoyed the crepes but were not impressed with the Frappe which we ordered without the gelato. SBC has a nice little patio area to the side with seats appropriately distanced. The entire place is very clean and the staff that we encountered was very nice. If you're looking for a very light breakfast and a coffee this is your spot. If you want something more substantial there are places close by that fit the bill. We rated SBC 3 because we felt it was a bit steep in terms of cost for the amount of food served. As previously noted, we enjoyed the crepes so if you just want a very light breakfast this might be your spot. read more

Its a little coffee place but looks really nice inside and what's most important has Great drinks, delicious food and nice service. We looked through the menu and- I got iced tea with fresh fruit and croissant, my husband got expresso and for my son we got fresh strawberry-banana smoothie. Everything was fresh and delicious. The service was great, she really made us feel welcomed and told us little about the place and what they offer. With the COVID is hard to find new places and we got lucky and found something we are going to visit a lot more. Like I said, this has cycled through a number of cafe incarnations. In the past, tables are filled with people who linger forever over one espresso and smoke. Not exactly lucrative and off-putting to many. Honestly...smoking?? For our visit, this version was the same. Two tables of the patio housed one party, milling about, having loud phone conversations, smoking, and one guy was obviously very sick - like sneezing and coughing and watery eyes sick. After all we've been through with this lockdown if someone can't have the sense to stay home I certainly expect establishments to have the sense to say GET OUT. My coworkers and I wanted crepes and this place popped up on Yelp. The 5 of us met there for an early lunch. It's a quaint coffee/food shop. There was one barista who took our orders, made our coffees and our crepes and then brought them to us since we decided to eat outside in the outdoor patio. Luckily it wasn't busy or I don't know how she would've handled it. I ordered the mocha latte and the savory crepe (turkey, cheese, spinach). The mocha latte was ok but the crepe was very tasty. It had a slight crust at the edges and the there was just enough cheese but not too much surrounding the spinach and turkey. My buddy ordered the nutella banana sweet crepe and I tried some of his as well. It was also tasty but how could it not be with the nutella? :) Prices were a little higher than normal but it still wasn't super expensive.
