I've re-glued many of these over the years myself, but my beast of a Toyota Sequoia has a HEAVY mirror so I thought I'd take it to the pros. They got me right in AND I was out in 20 minutes. Went to this place for a windshield repair because the Subaru dealer said this is their partner and USAA uses them as a preferred shop. When I called after filing my claim the person who answered the phone said she knew she had seen it somewhere, USAA said they'd call me but am guessing that if I hadn't called I'd still be waiting. That said they were very nice when I took my car in and dropped it off. Asked how long it would take and they said two hours. I went home and then a friend and I went to lunch in Puyallup, went to a park, went to Starbucks and four hours later the car still wasn't done. That's a lot of difference in time. Aside from that little glitch, the work was professional, and there were no fingerprints or dirty spots in the car and I know they had to recalibrate the camera. Went there to have my windshield replaced. had to wait 2 days for them to order it. ok no problem. Appt day arrived I went in checked in was told it would be a couple of hours. I get a call about an hour later telling me the glass did not arrive come back tomorrow. as I am turning into the driveway they call to tell me the glass still has not arrived. Now they have no idea when it will arrive but, they will call me when it does. 3 weeks later no call. No worries I went with Major Auto glass. They installed the day after I called them and did a great job. Looks like Speedy has gone downhill. Will never be back. read more

I got a windshield replacement for my SUV here. It was a better price than I was quoted anywhere else. Definitely less than I expected to pay. I was able to get an appointment quickly and the job only took them a couple hours. The communication was on point. I can't remember the specifics but it came with a warranty and they'll fix any chips. A good place to take your car if it does get a chip. The fee is pretty cheap to fix those. read more

Service was speedy! I tried getting an appointment with their competition and was told it would be almost two weeks out! So, not wanting to wait I called Speedy and guess what? I went in to get my glass fixed and they ordered the wrong glass and put a temp plastic in meanwhile I had to go to Seattle and ask please put my window in and they mentioned we can't fit you in so my car was broken into .. then call back again and they put me out a week and I ask for a refund and said no we just need you to come in a week from no and said I can't get another plastic on my window .. that's poor customer service if you ask me .. read more

Worst service I have ever had. I made an appointment for Tuesday, nobody shows up. I call them, they forgot me. Reschedule for Wednesday. Wednesday arrives, nobody shows up. They forgot again. Now they can't fit me in until Friday. Friday finally comes, they show up with the wrong glass. Now they're all booked and can't reschedule me for another two weeks. I needed this done by today, I made early appointments and I rescheduled for their mistakes multiple times and they still failed completely. Do not use this company. Their prices are the same as others (I know, I had to ask around for help after this debacle), and there is almost no way you could get worse service. (I am not from San Fran, I'm from Puyallup, idk why it's showing that) read more

SUBARU OWNERS BEWARE Your company was recommended by Pemco Insurance for a windshield replacement on my 2021 Subaru Legacy. I was told your company is able to properly calibrate the Subaru Eyesight as the shop has the proper equipment. I had an 11am appointment but was running behind due to traffic and was pulling into the parking lot at 11:10 when Suzan called. Right away Suzan had a "tone" over the phone that sounded angry, upset, or disappointed. She asked if I was "still planning on showing up" and I told her I was pulling into the parking lot and would be inside in a second. I walked in and her "tone" had not gone away and was somewhat rude. No introduction or welcome just an immediate demand for my insurance information. I was told it would be about 2 hours. I dropped the car off and got picked up. Fast-forward 5 hours later.... I was called by Suzan and told I could come pick the car up, however the technician experienced "issues" with the Subaru Eyesight calibration and there were faults in the system and I would have to take the car into the dealership for proper calibration. I explained that nothing was wrong with the Eyesight system when I dropped it off and I had no warnings or notifications (which I would have if Eyesight experienced faults, I've owned Subaru vehicles for quite some time). She told me there were problems and faults listed when they tested the system "pre-scan". I called my Subaru dealership who told me the re-calibration would cost me $268 out-of-pocket and I may get reimbursed by insurance but there was no guarantee. So now I was facing a total $468 bill for a simple windshield replacement. I arrived 15-minutes before closing and Suzan seemed to be in a rush to close and go home. I did not get any explanation about the faults and then she showed me several error codes that the technician found during the scan. I was told to take it to a dealership and no one was available to explain in detail what happened until the next day. I was told by Suzan that none of the codes were caused by your technician. I drove my vehicle to the Subaru Dealership and they performed a diagnostic and re-calibration, which was another 2 hours of my day. Subaru stated this is a common issue from glass replacements because the equipment used for calibration is not properly used or is not compatible. Subaru technicians stated "Codes were caused by glass shop. If camera is removed for windshield replacement and the ignition is turned on without the camera hooked up these codes will set". I was told by the dealership that the calibration and scan procedures were done incorrectly which caused the codes and faults. Subaru was instructed to bill Speedy Glass for the "repairs". I will NEVER use Speedy Glass again. I have advised Pemco Insurance of my experience with your company. From the rude employees to the obviously incompetent technicians....horrible experience. read more

The first time was 5 stars. This time was different. Price is great. Customer service lady is friendly. I think the install was good. The problem this time was the mess the tech left. There was debris all over the dash, console, door panels, and carpet. And even the hood. My truck was clean when I brought it in. The other issue was the broken pillar trim. The post with the clip on it was sheared off so when i drove away it fell off. I went back and asked them to look at it but they were too busy and asked that I come back another time or wait for all the other customers to be finished. Easy scheduling for in-shop replacement and the windshield was installed within the expected time. However, the supposed OEM equivalent windshield center tinting was subsequently different and rather disappointing. Unfortunately, a family member brought it in and I didn't see it until later. 2.5 stars. read more

Came here after a large rock from a truck left a dime sized chip in my front wind shield. Suzan at the front desk was very friendly and we were in and out of there in about half an hour. Insurance paid for the damage. Now you can hardly even tell there was any damaged. I was surprised at how well they fixed it. Very satisfied customer. read more

I haven't had any problems granted I've only been here once before today. My first visit was pleasant and the receptionist at the counter was very sweet and helpful. This time,my greeting from the guy at the desk was far less than professional. I hear him talking crap about another customer who was out taking a call outside the store. And then, one of his coworkers asked him what's going on which got the guy to get up and slam the sliding glass door as he walks into the shop. Now i hear him yelling a lot in the shop, which is louder than the tv I'm sitting next to and is making me uncomfortable as he was touching my car. Talk about awkward and EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL. I called speedy glass 4 month's ago to get a quote for a windshield . Was a good number for my car and my wife's in set my car up first. The tech showed up on time punctual that's when the NIGHTMARE BEGAN. The tech broke my windshield the new one he apologized I was upset but what could I do right the windshield was already on it had a trip planned that weekend that's why i was having my windshield replaced and the break was worse then it was with my old windshield. So I called speedy glass spoke to the receptionist she said I had to wait a week for the glue to dry so they can cut it out and replace it and when I say cut it out I really mean cut it out literally. I asked for some type of reimbursement for the whole situation so she passed me on to the manager MARY she proceeded to give me a credit of $23 or the gas it was going to take the technician get your my house I was fine with that I proceeded to set my appointment for a week. A week later the technician did not show up I called spoke to me again she said the technician showed up at 8 a.m. and knocked I said he was supposed to be there at noon like the last time which is 12 she said there were some type of confusion with the scheduling I said I can do it at my shop if he wants to come there and do it she said okay she sent him on his way I had to wait a few more hours for him to show. He showed up a little late but he showed up he did it in a timely manner paid the man and he left I went to go check the glass rice look good he did a sloppy job caulking around my windshield and got caulking all over my car all over my passenger door center console everywhere I was pretty mad but I cleaned it up myself wasn't till I went to get my windshield and windows tinted a week later.When the tint guy brought to my attention on her my window caulking was bad and the windshield was too low and also proceeded to show me that my pillars were hacked up I called MARY at Speedy Glass in South Hill she said the technician said that was already there from my previous job and I said no it wasn't she said oh did you own this car new I said no but I know those marks from a Sawzall we're not there prior I brought it in and took pictures she said she would order me new pillars 2 months later I called because I had not received an update she said my parts are in and my shop when a customer parts are in we call them and inform the customer and then schedule them for an appointment to get them installed she did nothing to try to fix the situation ask for a refund she said she would give me a refund still trying to get a refund if you want a good job and a timely manner and customer service to back it up don't go to Speedy Glass recommended please. read more

I broke the glass on the door of my woodstove. After checking several other businesses I was quoted outrageous prices or told they didn't do this type of repair. I ended up at Speedy Glass. They were more than willing to take on the challenge of replacing the glass. The results were outstanding and very reasonably priced. They went above and beyond by even salvaging the rope gasket and installing it so all I had to do was place the door back on the hinges. read more

I ordered a mirror to fit a 24x36 frame to put in a bathroom. Upon arrival I was told it was no issue and that it would be cut and installed into my frame for $56. I agreed, payment was due upon pick up. This was a Tuesday (I think). Apparently they had to order it. A couple of days later (not very speedy) I got a call that it was ready. I went in to pick it up the next day and was told that the lady at the front desk typed "mirror" into all the paperwork and quoted me a price for a mirror but ended up ordering a piece of glass instead. No apology, nothing other than ordering it, quoting me the same price and then me leaving empty handed to wait again. I again asked if the price included installation and was told yes. Another couple days and a weekend later it was ready. I came in to pick up and was told that they won't be installing it into my frame because they don't have the hardware to do it and they don't want to be responsible for breaking either my frame or the mirror. Okay...pretty sure that was part of the quote and you're the professionals but alright. She gave me a $10 discount for all the trouble. So now, I paid $46 for a mirror that I still cannot use in my bathroom until I can figure out myself how to install it safely for bathroom use. No suggestion was given to me on how to do that so I'm on my own I guess. I won't be returning for any further glass needs. Not speedy, not helpful. read more

Your technician either installed the incorrect glass on my car, or didn't connect the sensors properly. I called you guys last weekend, yes you were closed but I left a detailed message with the work order number and my contact info. I did not receive a call back. It has been exactly 7 days now. If we fork up $600 to replace a windshield, I expect it to be done 100% right. Very upset that no one has contacted me back to resolve this issue. The reason we went with a professional nationwide company is because we expect professional service, and when there's a screw up, we expect the company to own up to their mistake....not duck their customer's calls. Make it right, otherwise I will be expect a full refund and we'll take our business elsewhere. read more

I called Speedy Glass on the recommendation of my insurance company to get the windshield replaced in my car. The first time the tech came out he had the wrong moulding for my car. He called in to reschedule me for two days later to have the windshield installed with the correct moulding. Two days later the tech showed up with the same incorrect moulding. I sent him away and decided not to have Speedy Glass touch my car. If they can't even get the correct part in two chances I don't want to give them the opportunity to screw up installing the windshield in my car. read more

Had a windshield repaired and two rock chips repaired in 2 nd vehicle. Neither done well. Rock chips look awful. Rearview Mirror fell off as soon as repair man left. Called for inquiry about work performance and was instructed to drive to site to talk with manager. Although all work was done at my home due to time restraints. I was able to get in 3 days after my rear window shattered. The lessened the price by a couple hundred than the other places I received a quote from. I dropped it off and my car was done 1.5 hours later. So far it looks good! The front desk isn't personal but I could care less they got the job done. read more
