He is a hot head and lacks maturity and professionalism. He was attacking of our character and threatened to sue us. At that point, we paid our balance and asked him not to return. When we told his other business partner about the occurrence, his response was "I hate when he does that." To us, that showed this is a reoccurring issue. After this situation, I have heard from a few people that they too had some negative experiences. The reviews online are mainly all possible. The few negative reviews have shown a negative and attacking response from Alan. I cannot recommend this company due to the GC.

The project went very slow for much of the time, but that was the fault of an insurance company using delaying tactics and dragging their feet, as well as the need to bring the building up to code and pass many inspections. It was simply a slow process. Once they were able to get in there and get working, they knocked it out at a decent speed. 2 apartments were completely destroyed by fire, and SM replaced those very well. Excellent work I would say. They are now the 2 best units in the building by far. The common areas (halls and stairs) were not given quite as much love, but are still restored well and I am happy with them. Also, Chris Brooks and his man Ivan were great to work with. Chris managed the entire project and never lost his patience or temper with me (even though I may have with him once or twice early on). Chris has a background in the insurance business before starting this company if I remember what he told me correctly, and it shows. This was a pretty big project, but it wasn't too big for Chris - he managed it expertly. Ivan was on-site lead and was also great to work with, and I could tell Ivan is also very experienced. I would not hesitate to recommend Chris Brooks and Service Master for a job of any size, and if I ever need to restore a building after a fire or other big damage (hopefully not) I will be calling Chris Brooks.

Extremely Disappointed - Unprofessional Workmanship and Poor Customer Experience…read more I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Signature has been so frustrating that I feel compelled to share it. What should have been a straightforward countertop installation turned into a 7-week ordeal full of errors, delays, and subpar workmanship. From the very beginning, the quality of the installation was unacceptable. The seam on the island was sloppy and drew immediate attention, outlets didn't fit properly due to poor measurements, the sink alignment was off, and the caulking was carelessly applied. A Side splash was installed on a wall I never approved, and the company did come back to remove it, leaving me to pay my contractor to patch and fix the wall. Despite multiple visits to "fix" the issues, the repairs were never up to standard. The same seam was worked on several times and left looking dull and worn on either side. Instead of using new material, they repeatedly tried to salvage the damaged piece, even suggesting shaving off sections of the quartz -- hardly a professional solution. Communication was often kept professional with the operations manager, Tim, but came across as cold and short during the final visit, which only added to the frustration. After several follow-ups and ongoing dissatisfaction, they finally agreed to remake the island with a new slab. By that point, I had already lost nearly two months of use in my newly renovated kitchen. I expected a professional job and instead got a prolonged, stressful mess.
