sales person at the store, cannot remember his name, was great and helpful. The delivery guy Juan, was quick and gave me time to clean up before installing new deyer. The only negative thing is that the automated Jenny leaves you messages about delivery time and there's no one to talk to during weekends. I needed at least 30 minutes before the delivery was on its way to my home but couldn't talk to anyone to tell them that. they gave me a 2 hr window and they showed up 15 minutes before that window. It all worked out at the end, but being ableist to communicate with the delivery driver would be nice. I have bought all the appliances for my homes at Spencers for years, the delivery is usually the next day. read more

UPDATE: Spencer's read my reviews on Next Door and on Yelp. Late last week, they reached out. The manager from the 43rd Avenue and Peoria Avenue store came to my home on Friday, July 17, inspected the dishwasher, and the next day, July 18, a new KitchenAid dishwasher was installed. This has restored a great deal of faith and respect for the company, but I still have bittersweet feelings because it took more than 3-1/2 months for Spencer's to take accountability and do the right thing. After being a loyal customer for almost 35 years, I will shop at their store again, but with caution. Very easy to work with this store. My situation was that I wouldn't be moving for a few months, but I wanted to take advantage of the deal, and to just be prepared once I move in. They have options where you can pay on the item and hold it there until you are ready to move vs having to take it on the spot or have it delivered right away. This was very convenient for me. Went into Spencer's today and was immediately greeted by Zach. He helped out and showed us several units but was immediately sold on the Electrolux. Great mail-in-rebate offers that it came with and his explanation of it was great. I didn't even want to look at other options. He personally has one to he mentioned and raved about how having it for the past 2 years is just as new when he got from day 1. Javier and his "assistant" went above and beyond. Apparently the refrigerator to fit in the space was a little bit larger than expected. In order to get it into that space and around the island in the kitchen they had to remove the handles from the drawers and move the couch and debris junk around the couch. They put everything back they put the handles back on and made sure everything was in order. In the 40 plus years I have dealt with Spencer's I have always had great service from the service techs. They are conscientious, polite, very careful in handling everything. The only thing I have in the house that's not Spencer's is my washing machine which eventually is going to have to be replaced and guess where I'll be going. Thank you! read more

Clothes washer quit after 4 years and didn't have a warranty. Had someone us it would be $600 to fix. My mom had a dishwasher and refrigerator replaced by Spencer's TV and appliance and she highly recommended them. They had my exact same washer with the same knobs etc. only newer. They just brought it out and hooked it up quickly and all was good. Juan did an excellent job. He was nice and explained everything. Cory helped me purchase what I wanted from the website and I got a better deal ($150 less) by calling him than I would have just doing everything online. I couldn't be happier. I didn't get the young mans name at Spencers, but he was very nice, listened to what I needed and suggested a floor model that was there, saving me money and providing what I was looking for. George was very nice and very helpful with what I needed help with so that he could get to the dryer and remove it from the laundry room. He moved the old dryer to where I asked him to take it. He explained what I needed to do before using the dryer for the first time. I'm a sales customer care manager of many decades, so I absolutely notice tiny details that make a good sakesperson, customer care representative or service technician an absolutely oustanding one. The team at Spencer's historic 2nd store in Phoenix are the outstanding variety! 1st.. due to budget constraints I was planning to buy used, but a helpful family member told me to check out Spencer's in my search. The washer and dryer set I purchased were not inexpensive (when did appliances get so pricey???), but they were comparable to the very heavily used sets we looked at, with a 4x longer warranty.... so the value-add in buying new was definitely there. 2nd... we would not have been able to afford brand new pricing, but the Spencer's representative who assisted us listened to our needs, and directed us to a floor model set selling at a discount. Perfect! That simple step of not trying to upsell us on a product we'd already said we couldn't afford, and listening to our needs, basing his recommendations on our needs....Priceless! 3rd... the team who installed our machines was fantastic! They advised me of delivery schedule via text, let me know when they arrived. The gentlemen who delivered snd installed diagnosed an isdue with vale corrosion in our rental house, and were able to get my washer and dryer functional with old hoses, until new vslves/hoses cam be installed. They were professional, froenfly, very, very patient explaining the issue to me, so I could alert my landlord.
