    Menu during the soft opening

Tried a Cubano latte during the soft opening. It was delicious and the staff were lovely. It's so great to have a cafe with quality coffee and baked goods in Bellevue. It'll be one of our go-to's!

    Great meat selections!

The owner is from Hawaii, so he knows what truly fresh sushi should taste like. Apparently they've figured out how to get fish to your plate within about three days of it being caught and swimming in the ocean. That's impressive, especially considering frozen fish at many places can spend weeks in the supply chain before it's served. I've tried a lot of sushi spots around Nashville, and to me, nothing else has been as consistently fresh or tasted as good. Highly recommend.

It's part restaurant and part market, with some fun ingredients to peruse while they put their order together. They even have Spam Musubi, which is a rarity in Nashville! Although I do enjoy poke, I ended up ordering one of their featured hot plates: Teriyaki Chicken. It was served with rice, shishito peppers, some fresh veggies, and macaroni salad! This was delicious, and a large portion for the price. I would absolutely order this again, and would love to try some of their other rotating hot dishes as well. Parking is easy at ONEC1TY and free for two hours with your registration. I also noticed they have some fun Hawaiian drinks and even butter mochi, which I'd love to try next time. There's some seating outside, but it is mostly a to-go experience. Check it out!

Love places like Gulf Port Seafood Market - places you don't know about, nor expect then blow your…read moremind and palate. I especially love it when simplicity and genuine passion is served, not just presentation. Anyway, to start off - this market, and it's a market, not quite a restaurant. When my friend and I stopped in, there was one table, four chairs. Since we were there late, we were able to sit and dine in. Sitting and eating there allowed us to chat with Kojo - the owner. Learning not just about the market but his history and his passion for what he does. Switching gears again - the market is in a huge shopping plaza. Lots of parking. And free. As for the food - see the pics. Dinner pics is mixed in with what was left in the market. I can't even begin to explain how much I enjoyed the flavors of the dishes he made on the spot for us. As we were there late in the day, most of the popular dishes were sold out however, he made a few suggestions, even two that were off the menu and made it to order. When we were there, it was a one man operation. So he was also our host and server. If you couldn't tell - service was excellent. Chatting about food. About seafood. About the beginning of Gulf Port. And about life in general. This is one of those places, that if I lived there - I'd frequent the place just because of him. It's just too bad that me going there requires a plane ticket and a five or so hour flight. But, also know this - next time I fly into Nashville, I'll make my way to Hermitage and have more delicious, fresh seafood.

**April 2025: Saturday Evening Visit**…read more My friend and I wanted to eat somewhere in the Hermitage area since that's where we were staying and Gulf Port Seafood had really high ratings, which were 100% well deserved. I should preface this by saying that Gulf Port is a seafood market first and that they have one table (4 chairs) so you can dine-in - but space is limited. Kojo, the restaurant owner, has both raw and hot options for patrons to enjoy. We came pretty late on a Saturday so many of his popular items (gumbo and lobster roll) were sold out, but we decide to try his other offerings which were delicious. We ordered the 2 orders of Cajun Crawfish Roll (methinks $15?), Seafood Mac & Cheese (methinks $20?) and Shrimp and Grits ($20? maybe) and all were made to order and brought to our table in a timely manner. The Cajun Crawfish Rolls came out first (I guess one order is given two rolls) and we demolished it. The toasted bun had a nice char, but was fluffy on the inside and the cajun sauce gave the crawfish nice flavor. We devoured this and were really impressed with the item. Next the Seafood Mac and Cheese came our as well as the shrimp and grits. The Mac and Cheese had such a great blend of cheeses and the noodles were cooked al dente. The grits on the shrimp and grits were scrumptious - not mushy at all and the shrimp was cooked through. Everything tasted very comforting and the prices are very reasonable! Overall, this was definitely a highlight meal of my Southern States travels and the next time I'm back in Nashville I hope to try the gumbo and lobster roll!
