If anyone wants to gift me a luxurious basket of salt and accessories or navy Turkish scarf, I'll happily accept. This little shop in Old Town Tustin had me transfixed with all of the lovely gifts and cards, jewelry, beauty products, linens and tea towels, household decor, purses and pouches, and Turkish tea service sets. The owner is the friendliest man from Turkey. He does salt and vinegar tastings of products sold at the shop. I could have stayed all afternoon and spent way too much.

Stopped in today for the first time for Christmas gifts. This shop didn't disappoint. I love Old Town Tustin. There's such wonderful shops here. I picked up a mini set of hot sauces, hand creams, and preserves. The staff was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to return. There's so much to try. The preserves are for my dad so I'll definitely bring trying once he opens it.

Not surprised he already have 5 stars. First time coming into this place, Because I was looking for a going away present for a friend and I found so much more I didn't even know I needed ! For starters I have a one year old and I was walking to the door with our stroller trying to figure out how we were going to get in, When Tarkov came to our rescue! Not only did he get the door for us so kindly, He treated my baby so kindly ! Kept her attention and even gave her a sticker to help distract her while I was looking around. You have no idea how much I appreciate that as a new mother. Not only was he so nice and kind but he also was very intuitive about what I liked and was interested in and gave me some really good recommendations! I left with a spicy type of garlic salt that he actually even let me sample, Along with a couple of other flavors ! A huge jar of beautiful rainbow/shapes sprinkles that he let me know were only made with the best ingredient! A scotch bonnet hot sauce, Soap and Chocolate !! Tarkov even wrapped my gift for me, So beautifully ! I love this store so much! For my cooking needs and how they have so many great gifts. Thank you so much Tarkov !! We will be back !

If you're a home cook, who am I kidding, I think most of us utilized those skills during the pandemic this past year, do check out Spice & Tulips for your cooking needs. They have quality flavored olive oils, balsamic vinegars, seasoning salts, and more! Tarkan helped us out and he let us try different savory salts that they had in the store. We even tried a really nice fig balsamic. What sold us was the truffle salt. I have used truffle salt in the past but this one had more oomph than what I've tried. My bf is particular about his salts so when he heard it was French sea salt, he was sold. We picked it up for $24 but a little goes a long way. We've already used it on our eggs for brunch. I can't wait to try it on a nice steak.

Extra virgin olive oil, and Italy Imported Fig vinegar. Must try.

What a cute little charm. So helpful, so welcoming and SOOO coming back. Both husband & Wife are so charming and helpful. I purchased some spices, some gifts, Cards, tea and THE best Fig vinegar. I'll be back. Great little shop.

I highly recommend this absolute hidden gem! I found the Spice & Tulips a few years ago when I was browsing the area with my friend. The owner of the store, Tarkan greeted us and gave us some samples of the salts and different kinds of oils and spices. He was so welcoming. Since then, I visit the store with my husband. The store carries great quality of salts, spices, teas, soaps, oils, vinegars, and beautiful crafts and accessories from Turkey. We enjoy and feel so welcomed every time we visit the store. Tarkan is so informative about the items in the store and gives us little tips about cooking. I love their truffle salt and paste. They smell wonderful, taste awesome compare to the ones at the other local stores. If you are into cooking, you must visit this store.

I'm really excited about this shop. I'd walked by a few times but wasn't really sure what it was and I'm so glad I decided to pop in. I really want to support small local business for the holidays and this place is a really good for small unique items. They sell everything from paraffin free candles to bathrobes to tea sets and jewelry. If you're a foodie they have gourmet salts and spices, high quality olive oils and flavored vinegars, aprons etc. I would say a majority of the items are imported from Europe and Turkey and the rest is locally sourced and handmade. The owners were very hospitable.

Thank you, Tarkan. I had the most wonderful experience. Come support this awesome, local business!

Where does one start to describe this wonderful, small local gem? Well, it's a "home goods" type of boutique, located at the heart of Old Town Tustin. They carry fantastic spices, oils, balsamic, hand crafted home dishware, blankets, fragrances...the list goes on. There are such lovely finds here that I never walk out without purchasing something. I've come in to casually browse and always end up with at least one their cute little recycled bags. I'd go home excited to use a new truffle sea salt or their own balsamic vinegar; the acai berry and chocolate raspberry are amazing. There are those nice, unique, culinary goods that draws me in and that are hard to find nor brands that are sold at major retailers. But there so much other great finds. They get a lot of their stuff from other small busineses, bring in amazing imported goods as well have their own Spice and Tulips brand. Coming in just feels, smells and looks good. Everything is laid out so beautifully! You're going to just have to go in their shop to fully grasp all they have to offer. If you're wanting something more personalized in your gift giving and also feel good buying from a small, local business, this is the place.

Sooo good! Can't wait to use this!

The plaza has plenty of parking and houses a few other ethnic restaurants and spas, so it's very easy to get to during a Disneyland trip. Inside, there are tons of stuff from the Levant, spices, halal gummies, imported chocolates, homemade Dubai chocolate, and a huge selection of Turkish delights and roasted nuts made by them. They also have a wide variety of baklava and fresh knafeh right there ready to cut, which is a sweet cheese dessert with a fun kataifi crunch. The gentleman who helped me was very kind, though there was a slight language barrier. He let me try a bunch of nuts when I inquired - and I sort of had to, since several varieties were unlabeled, or just had a sign for what they were, or what the flavor was, but not vice versa. The nuts were good and seemed like a good and healthy snack to bring into a theme park or to have at home. I thought the flavors I tried were hard to distinguish from another after a while, and subtle. I had the fresh Dubai chocolate and thought it was pretty nice, distinctly bitter, nutty, moist, with tons of fresh kataifi crunch. You do have to keep it refrigerated though, as I assume it's made with ingredients that wouldn't hold well together at room temperature - typically a better sign in terms of paleo diets if you've ever made paleo chocolates for yourself. It's a bit atypical from other Dubai chocolate as the filling quantity here is uniquely generous. It's very rare to see a cute, almost timeless shop like this, containing lots of traditional and authentic goods. Would enjoy revisiting to try their coffee and the nearby food.

Once seated, you'll notice the menu if full of items that you rarely see here in the USA but we have had in Bangkok. We ordered 4 items for 4 people even though in Thailand you always eat family style. I selected the first 3 and asked the waiter to select the 4th based on my first 3 choices. That was a good idea. I chose Kao Soi Noodles, Dry Boat Noodles, and Crab Fried Rice based on Yelp reviews. My server, Veerawan, chose Fried Fish Fillet in Spicy Herb Salad. The Kao Soi Noodles came with several pieces of perfectly fried crabs and a bundle of crispy noodles. Underneath that was a delicious yellow curry on soft noodles. The fried bits were not greasy and the coating well seasoned. The yellow curry noodles were so delicious and rich that I couldn't put my chopsticks down. The Crab Fried Rice should be mandatory. Instead of a stir fry of rice and eggs with some surimi, at Manaao the entire cap of the fried rice mound is covered with lump crab meat. At first I thought $24 was expensive, now I think it's a steal. Look at my picture! The flavor was spot on too, the rice was chewy, the crab flavor throughout but you also get mouthfuls of crab without the hassle of shells. It comes with a lime wedge but also this spicy, tangy lime sauce that just sends the dish to the moon. The name of the restaurant is lime in Thai so they are supporting their brand with this sauce. Bottle this stuff! The Dry Boat Noodle was our least favorite but not because it wasn't tasty. The ingredients were braised beef and morning glory and meatballs. Because we messed with the recipe and ordered it dry (I didn't want two soups) the meatballs were cold-to-room-temp and flavorless. The noodles were some kind of special noodle too, that required the soup to separate. This dish should not be ordered dry. It's an easy fix since we all splashed some of the broth they knowingly brought on the side to wake it up. The broth is rich and should not be missed, so don't skip on this dish just because it was my third out of four dishes. The Fried Fish Fillet in Spicy Herb Salad was the unexpected plot twist. This scored very high in all the major Thai flavor categories of spicy, sweet, salty and sour. You get the benefit of lots of snake head fish without the chore of avoiding bones. The coating on the fried fish pieces were coated in the delicious sauce. Since it's technically a salad underneath and the fish is mixed with all those fresh herbs and large cashews, you get a dish that is one-of-a-kind. I would order this again in a heartbeat. I wrote too much already so I'm not going to say anything about the service and ambience except they both get 5 of 5 stars. Perfect, perfect, perfect.

I don't know if the new owner wants to keep the menu the same for for the old customer base, but I'd love to see the sandwiches elevated a touch. I think huge chalkboard menu signage would help draw people in as well. Overall it was a lovely experience, looking forward to going back and trying a smoothie! There were more people here than I expected on a mid-Friday morning around 10:30. They had a barista out front taking people's orders and another couple inside making the drinks. I ordered the Thicky Thicc, which is an iced americano topped with vanilla sweet cream, plus a chocolate croissant. They have all your standard coffee drinks (latte, matcha, Americano) plus a few uniquely named custom drinks like the Thicky Thicc. While I waited, I took my daughter to the kids play area. They had a bucket of old toys that looked like they had been donated by people (the toys were heavily used but still good enough to play with). I love that they had that there because it makes it fun for moms to take their kids here while they sip their coffee! My coffee was ready about 5-10 minutes later and we ended up staying and playing with some other kids for a while. The Thicky Thicc was delicious! The only sweet part of it is the vanilla cream on top, so it's just the right level of sweetness (not overly sweet like Starbucks drinks). You can still get some of that coffee flavor coming through that mixes with the cream top in each sip.
