It was my first time at White Sparrow Coffee and I had a great experience. The staff recommended I try the Love on the Weekend, which is an iced coffee with honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and espresso. So good! A bit on the pricey side, but the coffee and baked goods are very excellent. I love the Spanish latte - condensed milk, cinnamon. This time I got a passion fruit curd filled pastry, and it was heaven! I was a total mess eating it, but loved every bite. Their seating is mostly outdoors, and it's always pretty busy so just keep that in mind. Old town Tustin is so cute and fun to stroll around with coffee in hand, so you could always take that approach. The baristas were nice and professional. What a cute coffee shop in Old Town Tustin! Reminds me of why I love the charm of this area so much. We tried the Love on the Weekend, which is a honey, vanilla, cinnamon latte with oat milk. Since it was hot outside, we got it iced. It was really good! Very balanced drink with a kick of cinnamon at the start and the espresso chasing it after. Service was really good. We asked about buying coffee beans and the person helping us out was so thorough with recommendations, it was great! Nice staff and there's a cute mart next door. Pumpkin Horchata was pretty tasty and the shot of espresso was perfectly weak so it didn't overpower the horchata nor pumpkin. I went there Sunday morning, and there was a long line already. I had to wait about 20 minutes or so to get my order placed. I ordered the Spanish latte, the weekend latte, and the hot chocolate for my daughter. Both the lattes taste very good but if I have to choose one, I will go with the Spanish latte. The ambience of the place is very cute and the staffs are also super friendly. It's in a really cute area, but parking was a bit difficult to find since they were setting up for an art festival. The interior of the coffee shop is clean and attached to a cute little storefront. We ordered their yuzu espresso tonic and the shaken not stirred latte. To us, they were just okay. My shaken not stirred latte tasted a bit watered down and was a little too sweet for my liking. Street parking is available but during busy times, it's probably a little tough - the back lot is NOT available for customer parking. You can tell they use premium roasted green tea--it had a nice, smoky, toasted flavor and wasn't overly sugary. However, for the high price point, the cup was surprisingly small. I felt like I finished it in just a few sips, which made the "value for money" feel a bit off. The interior is very minimalist and "Instagrammable," but it's definitely not a place to hang out. Seating is extremely limited, so don't expect to find a spot to sit and enjoy your drink or get any work done. It's very much a "grab-and-go" kind of shop. If you're just looking for a cute photo of a coffee cup with a bird logo for your feed, this is the place. The drinks are high-quality, but between the high prices, small portions, and lack of seating, I'm not sure it's worth a regular visit. Such a sweet little cafe in Old Town Tustin! The line is long and the space is small with very limited seating, but the drinks are delicious. We were lucky to grab a table outside, which was in the shade with a nice view of the street and the bookstore across the way. The staff here is also very kind and nice to chat with! I ordered an iced hojicha latte which was nutty and not overpoweringly sweet, and my friend got a drip black coffee which was comforting and rich. There was a long line when I arrived and was really excited to try the coffee! The inside and outside is really cute and they have a small little shop that you can buy other beverages and supplements at. The front of the shop where you order your coffee was a bit cramped since multiple people were waiting for their orders. Service was great! Drinks came out pretty fast with the amount of people waiting. Got the seasonal apple drink. It was ok, presentation was nice but the apple flavor was very subtle and it tasted more like spices, cream, but the coffee flavor didn't come through as much as I wanted. I absolutely love this cafe!! My usuals are love on the weekend and a spanish latte. Both are very good and tasty. I usually get it with almond milk instead of whole. The matcha is also very good, they're matcha powder is quality matcha. During the summer they offer special drinks like a mango matcha or other top hitters. The line has been slightly long depending what time you arrive but they move quick and efficiently. Parking is super easy to find unless you go on a weekend it might be harder since a lot of people will be out and about. I tend to have my coffee outside since they have a couple tables available to sit. I've also always had a great interaction with the workers there, always very friendly and conversational. I've never had the actual pastry's but they seem very yummy and delicious. I would recommend white sparrow to those that haven't had it yet and want to try a yummy coffee spot. Forgot to add that there is a lot to do if you don't want to have the coffee outside like walk around, shop, have some lunch, or even a bookstore across the street.
