We ordered takeout via the website which was very efficient. Food was ready promptly and restaurant was not crowded despite the extremely busy spring break traffic. Parking lot was completely full, but everyone was at Texas Roadhouse. Portions are a little confusing - vegetable biryani was huge, chicken tikka masala was quite small and had approximately 5 bites of chicken. Overall we ordered and got garlic naan (2 large slices) , tandoori chicken (2 leg quarters), vegetable biryani (large square container), chicken tikka masala (round pint container), Chana masala (round pint container), tamarind chutney (two soufflé condiment cups), and mint chutney (two soufflé cups). We also received 2 hamburger-box-style containers of basmati rice (as expected based on our order), a large condiment cup of raita, a large condiment cup of mango chutney, and a soufflé of mint chutney. Everything was flavorful and richly seasoned albeit quite spicy. We ordered at the request of our young child (tandoori chicken is his favorite) and it was all too spicy for him except the basmati rice! We would order again, but maybe request less spice or ask for guidance on what isn't spicy. I can't imagine how hot the chicken 65 and intentionally spicy dishes are! read more

We picked up dinner from Spice Express tonight and couldn't recommend it more! Got the palak paneer with a side of naan and it was so delicious. The paneer was more mashed than cube like (cubes is what I'm used to), but it was fantastic and I think it led to a superior texture. In a town inundated with "home style country" food, this place is an excellent option for those looking for something different. We will be ordering again during our stay. read more

Why is this place not more popular? The portions are probably big enough for 2 people to eat on. The servers were very kind and attentive. Also, make sure you get the Mango Lassi drink they have there. We love Five Oaks, we love Mellow Mushroom, and we love Puckett's but this took our top spot for this trip. Don't be stupid. We love Indian food and have come here twice. The first time was ok. The 2nd time was inexcusable. They didn't have half the items on the menu, they wouldn't add chick peas to a dish (I didn't mind paying extra but they just wouldn't add chick peas). They were empty and now I know why. This place may not make it due to their lack in customer service. They also have straws from a local business Tropical Smoothie for their mango drinks. (This is just cheap... buy your own straws) Rude wait staff and customer service is lacking. Save yourself time and go to Curry & More on the parkway. They are friendlier and more accommodating and have what's on the menu. read more

Finally, good food in Sevier County. Very tasty, great staff. It is my go-to restaurant. The naan is crispy on the edges and yummy. The vindaloo is very good. The tandoori chicken is extremely good. The tika masala at medium is not spicy, so if you like kick, I would get the spicy. read more

Outstanding! It is worthy of a 20 minutes wait!! Flavor is very authentic and the serving is surprisingly generous. The dessert Ras Malai is out of this world, not too sweet and with a little hint of rose in the background. read more

this was probably the worst meal of my visit to tennessee. the tika masala had really no chicken and the sauce was more like a soup and not a stew. the saag paneer was the worst i've ever had in my life. usually they cut the paneer in cubes. they blended the paneer in this sauce, it didn't look like spinach at all. they also charge way too much. 2 pieces of leg quarters i know the get for .70 cents a llb and they charged me $14 with no naan or rice. i was diss appointed to say the least. not good. read more

We were looking for something different and saw this restaurant. It's hidden behind several other restaurants. The food was wonderful!! The Naan was Amazing!!!
