My husband and I were returning from Victoria from 9pm ferry and there were not many options available at 11pm. We were staying in Delta area so wanted to have something nearby. Found this gem on yelp and placed an order to-go 10 mins before closing. I was not sure whether they would entertain us but they did. The momos as well as chutneys were authentic and tasted awesome. We had such good momos after a long time. The service was quick - they told us 25-30 mins but momos were ready when we reached there in 10 mins. The prices are reasonable as well. I would definitely be coming back to this place.

Located in a strip mall on 72 by king George. The location isn't great but the food is amazing! I have been several times and usually get veggie dishes but last night I had the tandoori fish. It comes sizzling to the table with mint chutney. I ordered a naan to go with it. It was too much for one meal for me. If I was sharing dinner I would definitely get the fish and mixed veg with naan and 2 Chai. On previous visits the service has been slow But last night it wasn't bad I was there were only one or two other tables being used. I recommend grabbing a menu when you go in and putting your order for Chai right away. Friendly staff and delicious good. I hear the chilli fries come highly recommended. I also want to try out the Momo.

Finally a decent place on the west coast that does good Nepali / Himalayan food. The food here is well worth the drive. They make everything fresh here. We ordered the chilli chicken momo's and the paneer hakka noodles. Momo's are pretty much like dumplings with Nepalese spice. These ones are juicy and are full of flavors. The hakka noodles are great as well. Those things were enough for 2 people. The portions are big and the prices are reasonable. The owner is very friendly and attentive. Can't wait to try other things on their menu Food : Really good Service : Friendly Ambiance : casual Worth the price : Yes

Met up somewhere in between Langley and Richmond and something random and ended up at Spice of Nepal. This is a mix between Nepalese and Indian. This is another place where the food is the star. The restaurant decor is a mix of what could be a small banquet hall, could be a mini sports bar and a no frills eatery. There were a couple of men sitting at the bar eating and watching the football game, but the tables were full of people, people kept streaming in for take out. So much going on only meant good things were to come. We ordered the Deep fried Chili Chicken Momo balls..these were absolutely delicious with a tangy sauce coating the balls...one order had 10 Momo balls and that was surprising as only expected a few. These balls came either fried or steamed, I wanted to try both and asked for half and half but they didn't do that...too bad. We also ordered the Hakka style chow mein with meat...was a good portion of noodles with spice...I love noodles and enjoyed this dish, noodles were not too soft and ate very well. Chicken curry...somehow I always think curry portions are small at any Indian restaurant but always end up with leftovers. The taste was rich and deep with spices. The amount of chicken was good as well. Unfortunately, they ran out of naan bread so we ordered two rotis, I have better, however went well with the curry. The server asked how spicy we wanted and I love spicy, but glad we went with medium. Medium definitely had enough bite to make my mouth burn...so if you can't take spicy I suggest mild. Good find

My love for momos made my husband to drive 35 Kms to Surrey :). The restaurant is spacious with clean bathrooms. Our server, who I think was owner too, was really sweet. We ordered chicken momos jhol, chilli chicken momos and chicken curry thali. If you can come on weekday, do try their lunch thali which is for just 9.99 I guess. Chilli chicken momos had deep fried momos tossed in some sauce, spices and vegetables. Momos were juicy and the overall combination was amazing. Chicken momos jhol has steamed momos in tomato onion based curry and tasted good. We had ordered a lot and couldn't eat much from thali, so got it packed. It had rice, naan, a cumucumer carrot veggie, chicken curry, sautéed greens, dal and mix vegetable along with curd and kheer. Everything tasted like home cooked food and was yummy.

Such a yummy restaurant to get some Indian cuisine. I got chicken biriyani. My sister got the chicken takkal masala. I regretted getting the chicken biryani. It was yummy but I should've just got masala and white rice! We had leftovers so YAY!!!!!

Tasty and some differences to Indian food that so love; good enough for return visits, to be sure, but will be lower on my rotation than some other restaurants based on my first visit.

It was supposed to be my final meal of this leg of my Vancouver food trip, and with so many…read morerestaurants to choose from, I decided to trust my gut and head to Dragon Wok. Faced with two locations, I picked the newer one for reasons I can't quite explain, and thus began an amazing journey. The spacious parking area was a great start, and as soon as I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted by a bright, soothing, and clean environment. The Far East vibes were unmistakable, with signs all around confirming I was in a Chinese place. A polite girl greeted us and guided us through the extensive menu, helping us choose the best dishes and combinations. To give some context, Indo-Chinese food originated in Kolkata, Bengal, and evolved as it spread across India, with each region adding its own twist. My favorite is Bangladeshi Chinese, known for its aroma, toned textures, and balanced, soothing sauces and condiments. Although Indo-Chinese variations have diverged from their Bengali-Chinese roots, I was hoping to find something that would closely match my taste preferences. That's when a gentleman named Abrar approached us. To my delight, he was from Kolkata, the birthplace of Indo-Chinese cuisine. He took the time to understand our preferences, crafting recommendations that seemed tailored just for us. He went above and beyond, even deciding how to tweak their original dishes to match our taste buds. We decided to go all out with his suggested combinations. We started with the appetizer, the Spicy chili garlic wings, and they were incredible--thin, yet with the crispiest crust, perfectly balanced with the chili garlic sauce. They were well-marinated with no gaminess, and the juicy inner layer contrasted beautifully with the crunchy exterior. 5/5. The Masala Fish blew us away--it was unforgettable. It wasn't overly spicy; a hint of sweetness brought out the flavors, with a light, airy crunch giving way to melt-in-your-mouth fish. The Crispy Chili Beef was very special. It wasn't dry, with a perfect semi-crisp exterior and juicy interior. Each bite validated how beef should be cooked. The sauce was perfectly balanced, neither too salty nor too sour. The Ginger garlic chicken was stir-fried to perfection, super soft with a soothing gravy, and the perfect blend of oriental sauces. Everything was balanced just right. The vegetable Hakka chowmein were not too oily, and though the noodles were a bit thinner than usual, they complemented every entrée so well it felt like a match made in heaven. Finally, the dessert--Ice cream with fried banana--was an ingenious creation. The warm, crunchy banana paired perfectly with the cold ice cream, creating a delightful ending to the meal. The girl at the reception (sorry, I didn't ask her name) was incredibly cordial, checking in on us several times and even offering complimentary green tea. Abrar also checked in on us a couple of times, providing exceptional service. I noticed him being attentive to every customer, offering nothing short of the best service you can get in a restaurant. I know taste buds vary, and Indo-Chinese palates differ across the subcontinent, but as someone extremely picky about Indo-Chinese food, I feel I had my best Indo-Chinese experience in North America at Dragon Wok. You're in good hands with these experts from the birthplace of Indo-Chinese cuisine.

The menu is extensive, offering everything from classics like General Tso's and lo mein to more unique options. With so many choices, there's something for everyone. The food always comes out hot and flavorful, and the staff is friendly and efficient. It's a great spot when you're craving Indo-Chinese food and want big portions that satisfy. We got veg fried rice, Manchurian chicken, and shrimp chow mein and honestly those plates were wiped clean. It was enough for four starving people. I'm tempted to come back and try their soup and other things on the menu. Can't wait!

Our party of six waited over an hour to be seated. If my mother hadn't spoken up, we likely would have waited even longer. Although reservations are not accepted, guests are placed on a waitlist upon arrival. Our name was clearly on the queue, but not in Korean and while I initially understood smaller parties of two or four being seated ahead of us based on table availability, concerns arose when another party of six--who was behind us in line (name was written in Korean--was seated before us. This was deeply frustrating, as we were next in line for a table that could accommodate six people. When we raised the issue, the hostess admitted it was a mistake, yet still chose to seat the other group first. They were 5th in the queue. Despite our complaint, there was no sincere apology, and we were forced to wait an additional 10 minutes while they set up another table. The entire situation left us feeling unfairly treated and discriminated against. As loyal customers who regularly spend over $300 per visit ordering family combos, extra dishes, drinks, and more, this was incredibly disappointing. Sadly, we will not be returning. There are many other restaurants that treat their customers with fairness, respect, and appreciation.
