Came here with a large group of friends for a going away party. They were able to accommodate 12 of use which we know was rather difficult. I am not super familiar with Indian food outside my go-to dishes, so we ended up ordering a bunch of random dishes. Everything was delicious! I am not entirely sure what we all order, but it was so good that I would be willing to go back and order it all again. We had a people with nut and gluten allergies; there was something on the menu for everyone even though many dishes had those allergens. The best part was when the bill came. We had at least 3 to go boxes filled to the brim and yet the bill was only $250!! It was such a great deal and ended up being less than $25 pp for the feast! I will definitely be back and cant wait to try it all again. Overall, 4/5 stars!

This place was such a surprise and the best decision to end our Colorado trip with Indian food. The food was excellent. Service was quick and it was full. The ambiance felt like 90's indian restaurant We ordered lasooni Gobi (amazing),kurkuri bhindi, Samosa chat for appitizers and it was delicious. For the main course, we ordered achari aloo, katahal (jackfruit) fry, and baigan bharta all three were delicious. The naan was super soft. The pulav for kids was great too. We ended our meal with gulab jamun -there are 3 in one order and our server gave us 4 since there were four of them on the table. He saved us from fighting over gulab jamun. We even ordered a shikanji drink and that was refreshing. Would eat her every day if this place moves opens a restaurant in Hudson valley.

Why did it take me so long to get to Spice Room?! This place will probably become one of my top places to eat if the food keeps being this good. I went with a friend and ordered Pani Puri, chicken vindaloo, garlic naan, and a fried vegetable meatball curry. Each dish left me impressed and I can't wait to go back and try more.

Traveled all over India and haven't been able to find a local restaurant that delivers authentic Indian cuisine until this place. WOW. There are many options from Northern India to the Southern (spicier and my preference) Indian cuisine. I ordered the Madras which is a southern cuisine made with coconut and curry leaves. You have your choice of rice (brown, cumin white or tumeric basmati) and choice of lamb or chicken. I ordered garlic naan was a perfect dish on a cold night. We ordered the Masala blooming onion which was almost too much food. Highly recommend and with such a large menu, it will take several visits to find my favorite dish. I can't wait to try the naan pizza.

This place has been on my list for awhile now and we finally tried it! The momo's were fantastic. I thought the curry was ok, but I want to try some more items next time.

Very tastey Indian food food the menu is huge. Staff was knowledgeable and helped with recommendations of what to eat as first timers. Its plenty of food and you can definitely share. They have outdoor seating which is nice. Parking is easy and the vibe is chill. They have vegan and vegetarian dishes.l available as well which is really nice. We had chicken tikka with naan and samosas. The samosas were spicy but packed with flavor! Will definitely be back!

Definitely a must if you flavorful dishes and love great service. We had the chicken masala and korma and both were amazing. The atmosphere is very welcoming and if you love Indian food, this is the place to be.

Really enjoyed Spice Room -- the food was solid overall and the chai was amazing, definitely one of the standout parts of the meal. A bunch of us ordered the thalis, and they came with so much food on one plate. The paneer veggie included in the thali and the chaat were both delicious and super flavorful. The paneer roll and biryani was a bit mid for me, but everything else more than made up for it. Great portions, great chai, and a nice spot if you're craving a hearty Indian meal.

I honestly can't remember the names of what I ordered but it was so gooooood. One of the dishes was the eggplant based one and I actually really loved that one although the flavors are milder. The chicken dish was delicious and was tender. I think it was described as a dry curry. The mushroom dish which was a curry was amazing as well. We got our food super quickly and this place is so big with so much seating! The menu is huge too and I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to try everything on it. Service was great :)

Hands down the best Indian food in Denver. We've tried a LOT of places, and Spice Room definitely has the most flavor. They have tons of options including vegan options, and everything is super flavorful. We had the Chicken Tikka Masala, Tofu Tikka Masala, and a variety of naans. Will definitely be back soon!

Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Momo (Dumplings), and Kids Chicken Tenders & Fries with Garlic Naan of course.

This place was amazing 9.75/10. Only negative I wish there was more garlic on the naan. Everything else was AMAZING and Outstanding. The service was great. The restaurant was amazing very chill. I will be back to try more.

Very nice restaurant. Pleasant staff. Food was excellent in my book. It was fresh, flavorful , portions were generous. We arrived pretty late , about 45 min before closing. One thing that bothered me is that despite several customers still eating or even waiting for food , staff was cleaning up restaurant and vacuuming . I understand that everyone wants to and needs to go home but change the hours for customers to leave early enough so staff can clean when everyone is gone.

They have very soothing spa music playing (a little odd, but also charming). You can see that the owners probably did their own repairs and upgrades. The tandoori chicken pieces were massive and they did not skimp on the sides of rice like other Indian restaurants. The garlic naan was paper thin like a roti and infused with so much garlic! Our server was very sweet and attentive. She carefully made both our cocktails and when we complimented her, she was humbled and honored. The Thali caught my eye as it's essentially a traditional platter with a variety of balanced small plates from rice to potatoes to dal soup and even dessert all on a single tray. I got it with Butter Chicken which was so good! Highly recommend as it was creamy, medium spicy, and very aromatic. I absolutely loved the street-style chaat! It's creamy, crunchy, cold, and loaded with flavors and textures. Such a satisfying bite and I almost couldn't stop until it was gone. I love that this Thali came with both rice & naan as I usually want both and can't decide lol! The rice was fluffy and aromatic from the cumin while the garlic naan was fresh, soft, and delicately brushed with garlic & parsley. I didn't care for the dal soup (bit too watery) or the jeera potatoes (bit undercooked) but the dessert was a nice way to end the meal. Their options included rice pudding and gulab jamun; I went with the "healthier" option lol. It was creamy, sweet, and cooled down my palate after the various dishes. The Lamb Biryani was another good try! The lamb chunks were tender and seasoned, the rice was aromatic, and it paired well with the onions and raita (yogurt sauce). This definitely satisfied my craving and I'm glad I stopped by before the long day I had ahead!

Since my adult daughter and I were going to be there for a little celebration I made the reservation through the restaurant's website requesting to be seated at a 4-person table. Unfortunately upon arrival the restaurant not only did not even check to see if they had us on the reservation list they also didn't allow us to sit at a 4-person table. The restaurant wasn't busy at all on a Monday night so they simply treated us like a "walk-in" guest. Mmm...what's the purpose of the reservation link on their website if they don't value it?? They took us to one of the smaller two-person tables. After sitting there for 5 minutes or so perusing the menu, we kindly asked one of the workers if we could move to the bar seating that overlooks the busy Broadway. This was the game changer. The elevated seats and the tabletop made the ambience feel more like a special occasion. Thank goodness...this was the only bummer part of our dinner. The rest, fortunately, went quite well! Food: It looks like another Indian/Nepali restaurant at first but in my personal experience, this one ranks the best or top tier for their authenticity. The below is directly copied/pasted from the electronic recipe of ours: -PANI-PURI (Vegan/DF) $8.00 -Ice Tea $3.00 -Masala Chai $4.00 -COCONUT CURRY WHITE FISH. (DF/GF)$20.00 (Medium heat) -KHATTI MITTHI BHINDI (VEGAN/ GF) $15.00 (Medium heat) -WHOLE WHEAT BREAD $3.00 Pani-puri came out after our two main dishes although Pana-Puri is more of an appetizer (lol). Tho two main dishes were cooked in a medium heat and yet they were extremely doable even for someone like me who is not much of a "heat" person. My daughter is not a big fan of naan bread so as she is way more versed in the very cuisine (she had just come back from India spending a month to be trained to be a yoga instructor with a certification) she suggested we get the thin wheat bread. This bread went efficiently well with our two mains. Both iced teas were a great accompaniment to our whole meal. And again, how authentic everything tasted and how meticulously everything was cooked and prepared, it was something we couldn't ask for better quality. A bit of a disappointment with the whole reservation situation and yet the quality of the food broke even at the end. Service was good to decent although it wasn't exceptional but our basic needs were met.

Gaia Masala & Burger: Where Smash Burgers Meet Curry House Comfort…read more Gaia Masala & Burger has built an intriguing niche by blending Indian comfort food with American fast-casual favorites. With locations stretching from San Francisco to Kansas City and New York City, plus four outposts across Northern Colorado, the concept has clearly found an audience eager for culinary crossovers. Our visit took us to the Denver location at 6th Avenue and Grant Street, tucked into a modest strip mall parking lot shared with a Wendy's--a decidedly unassuming setting for a menu that promises far more adventure than its surroundings suggest. The dining experience begins with a bit of uncertainty. Upon entering, it's not immediately clear whether guests should seat themselves or order first. A small "Order Here" sign pointed us toward the register, but we were escorted to a table by a server who proceeded to take the order there. It wasn't a major issue, but it set the tone for a service experience that felt a little disjointed throughout the meal. Fortunately, the menu quickly shifted our attention. Gaia's offerings are expansive, ranging from traditional Indian dishes to playful fusion creations. To get a broad sense of what they do, we ordered a signature item, something entirely new to us, and a classic Indian entrée. The signature choice was the Beef Tikka Masala Burger, a creation that perfectly captures the restaurant's concept--recently featured in Denver Post's "5 of the most underrated burgers in Denver." Built in the style of a juicy smash burger, it arrived topped with marinated cucumbers and a creamy masala sauce. Guests choose both the burger's temperature and spice level; we opted for well-done and mild. Despite the well-done preparation, the burger remained impressively juicy and flavorful. The masala brought warmth and depth without overwhelming the beef. Next time, I'd probably venture up to the "Mild Plus" spice level for a little extra kick. Our adventurous selection was the Dry Chili Paneer, an appetizer that immediately became one of the highlights of the meal. Despite its name, there was nothing remotely dry about it. Large cubes of paneer were sautéed in a savory soy-based sauce packed with fresh chilies and vibrant flavor. Spice levels range from one to six, and even at level one, a few bites carried a surprising spark of heat. The balance of richness, saltiness, and spice made this dish both addictive and memorable. For our traditional entrée, we chose the Chicken Korma. Served alongside rice, the korma leaned slightly more turmeric-forward than many versions I've encountered, but the flavor was warm, comforting, and well-rounded. Generous pieces of chicken and chunks of cashew throughout the sauce added both substance and texture, making it a satisfying and flavorful classic. The timing of the meal, however, was somewhat unusual. The burger arrived nearly five minutes before either the appetizer or the korma, which disrupted the flow of sharing dishes at the table, as well as the delay of utensils. Seeing a soda fountain in the dining room, we ordered fountain drinks, but were a little confused it was not self-serve nor were free refills offered. Another eyesore was the heap of dirty dishes that were bussed from the empty tables to the area right next to the soda fountain, instead of hidden and out of sight. Service remained pleasant but somewhat inattentive, and we ultimately had to flag down our server to request the check. While the dine-in experience left room for improvement, the food itself made a strong impression. Gaia Masala & Burger succeeds where it matters most: delivering bold flavors and creative combinations that feel more thoughtful than gimmicky. The menu still offers plenty of territory worth exploring, including fusion items like Mediterranean pizzas and calzones that further showcase the restaurant's willingness to experiment. For us, Gaia feels less like a destination dining experience and more like a future delivery favorite. With availability across all major delivery platforms and a menu packed with craveable options, it's easy to imagine these dishes becoming regular additions to a takeout rotation. The service may not inspire a special trip back to dine in, but the food is compelling enough that we'll certainly be ordering again.

I sorely wish I could give higher marks but…read more.. Came by on a weekday evening and it was very quiet. Our server was meh. Gave off a strong "I don't want to be here" vibe and was not particularly attentive (and was definitely not busy). We ordered two specials: lamb shank and the fish curry along with cilantro naan. Had really high hopes for both and they fell very flat. For the high price, portions were also a bit sad. The lamb was overcooked to the point of severe dryness and the fish was also overcooked, resulting in an almost rubbery texture. The rice was fine (kinda hard to ruin that) and the naan was also a bit overdone. We didn't order any dessert given the quality of the entrees. I'm really bummed. Indian is my favorite cuisine and I live within walking distance and could easily have become a regular. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

The Nepali chow mein is very flavorful, and they are generous with the meat portion. We ordered the lamb vindaloo and Jamaican goat curry at a 4/5 spice level, which ended up being a bit too spicy for my taste. I think a 3/5 would be perfect next time. Both curries were delicious, and the meats were very tender. The naan is excellent, though the rice was a little on the dry side. Overall, it was a fantastic meal and we'll definitely return soon.
