Sadly, the store is not very clean, the lighting is dim, and the aisles often have boxes of product in them making it difficult to navigate. The prices are not clearly posted. There is product in the store that is expired, so be sure to check expiration dates. The staff, though limited in the English language, are always friendly. I will continue to shop this store because of the unique products they carry and my need for these products to make Asian food recipes that I really enjoy eating.

When I arrived to the market (on a Thursday) I was told they only had goat meat delivered every Wednesday and was then asked how many pounds I wanted. Leaving disappointed I was immediately discouraged on the thought of trying something new and am still puzzled how they sell out of goat in one day. Brookshire brothers is a beautiful grocery store that is so enjoyable to shop in, wonderful staff who are so cared for- their stories of employment there are so beautiful, it causes me catharsis every time I BB comes to mind. They have a wide selection of everything you need grocery wise. From the general unhealthy foods and snacks that most Americans won't sacrifice, to the ultra clean, minimal ingredients products me and all my mom friends prefer. The fresh cut meat looked so good today that I felt regret for my last purchase of meat proteins (from HEB). Their sirloins were so beautiful they stopped me in my tracks. Will definitely be buying my meat there next time.
