Interesting flavor combinations and good food! We tried wings, pizza and samosas. It was all very good. Never before have I had a vegetarian pizza that wanted to order a 2nd time ... until now. The Achari Ghobi was delicious! I honestly didn't miss meat....on a PIZZA!! Wings are dynamite. Well cooked, meaty, hot and flavor packed! Sidenote: There is some confusion regarding how many sauces you can get with, say, 20 wings. We couldn't get 4 flavors on 5 wings, COULD get 6, 6 & 8 wings with 3 flavors, but COULDN'T get 7, 7 & 6 of 3 flavors . I still don't understand their policy, but we muddled through it. Located in Adair Village, this place has great food. We were really impressed how good it was. We got the gobi Manchurian cauliflower appetizer which was excellent. Then got the butter chicken pizza and mango lassi which were also very good. Service was great. Ashley our waitress gave us some good recommendations. Highly recommend. I've been wanting to try this place since it opened a few months ago. I envisioned a wonderful mix of flavors and it did not disappoint! We had the mango tamarind boneless wings, masala fried, red dragon noodles and the butter chicken pizza. They all had distinct flavors and were very enjoyable. Tried them 3 times. Leaves you with a feeling of disappointment. Quality toppings but the pizza dough is extremely bland and flavorless. Everyone who had it has made this the same comment each time we've ordered. Language is a barrier as well, the cashier did not speak any English and ordering was an uncomfortable process for standard menu items with no changes. Slices & Spices is a fusion between Italian Pizza and Indo-Chinese cuisines -- in a way I think families with varied appetites and tastes will find appealing. The food is really good, generous and the service is prompt and attentive. I enjoyed the spicy Red Dragon noodle bowl while my partner went for a small Chili Pizza -- so big, that she had to box half of it to take home. It would pass for a medium Pizza elsewhere. They have an uncrowded dining room with a choice of booths or tables and chairs. Nothing to fault, so they get my five stars. read more

I have been wanting to try this spot for months. I have a deep love for pizza as well as Indian food. The boneless wings were delicious. The sauce was super flavorful and the meat was high-quality. The pizzas were good. The butter chicken pizza was outstanding. The toppings on both were plentiful and of good flavor. The only ding would be the crust. It was very basic and lacked any character or real flavor. I understand they want to let their ingredients shine, but a good quality flavorful crust would only add to the outstanding flavors that they offer. I am excited to come back and try more of the Indian flavored pizzas as well as some of their noodle dishes. read more

Found this place with a coworker, stopped for lunch and was VERY please when I lifted the 12" Small Premium Veg and found the pizza box to be heavy. It was plenty of food for two grown men and the veggies were fresh and chunky. Great pizza! read more

I heard from a friend that this place was awesome, so I had to give it a try. I love Indian food and I love spicy food as well. I was tremendously let down by my experience. I tried 2 things with a friend: the mango tamarind wings and the chicken tikka masala pizza. My alarm bells first went off when we go up to order and I go to pay just to realize the cashier had already selected the "18% tip" option FOR ME. Maybe he thought I wouldn't notice, but I did. Regardless, I didn't want to make an issue so I just paid the price with the added tip and moved on. But, the fact that they selected the tip button for me immediately had me a bit worried. Regardless, I came for the food so that's what I was really looking forward to! The wings did not have spectacular flavor. I tasted mango and tamarind but those flavors were overpowered by just pure saltiness. Overall not something I'd go back for. The pizza is what I was really looking forward to though! I am sad to report it tasted like a basic pizza you'd get at round table or some other generic chain. The chicken did not have the amount of spice or flavor that is characteristic of authentic Indian food. Secondarily, I expected the sauce on the pizza to be Tikka Masala sauce, but it was just regular tomato sauce. I wouldn't have been able to guess it was an Indian-fusion restaurant AT ALL. I'm very disappointed in the food which both me and my friend described as being very bland with no Indian spices/flavor. I will say the ambience was very nice - large booths with comfortable seating. Unfortunately, I will not be returning back. read more

We just finished eating and I had to rush over and write a review because this place is a new favorite! We tried to sample a bit of everything so we had the Butter chicken pizza, a few sandwiches, the Gobi Manchurian, and Wok N Roll Chow Mein. Everything was absolutely delicious (I am stuffed right now but am still snacking because I just can't stop!), but my personal favorite was either the gobi or the noodles. The rest of the family (picky kids included) LOVED the pizza, and the sandwiches were tasty as well, but we agreed that they were more of a lighter lunch type sandwich. Everything was so unique and perfectly flavorful. As an avid Indian food lover, this place was a fun twist on classic dishes. Our family just left Spices & Slices and I couldn't write this review fast enough. First of all, our server, Ashley was amazing. She was kind, and very attentive. The food was impeccable!! We had the honey chili and lemon pepper tandoori wings. Both were awesome and packed with flavor. We all shared the butter chicken pizza which was amazing. It was tasty to experience the Indian cuisine flavors on a slice of pizza. The dough had a great texture and the sauce was so good.
