Lunch special wonton soup.light and very tasty wonton
ChefCelly 1.

First of al everything I ate here was delicious and tasted so authentic. The owner and staff is all women owed and I was so pleased with the service and presentation of food. I ordered. Pad see ew lunch special which comes with a light and tasty wonton soup. Wry all portion but the flavor is wow. I also ordered the pad Thai and papaya salad with sticky rice on the side. It was awesome they had sticky rice bamboo holder. I get so comfortable and I was very pleased with the food and service. Parking was easy since they have a huge parking lot. Clean bathroom and they also offer dessert. Next time I'll bring my girls and have that mango sticky rice. .

Massaman curry!! Watered down.. gross boiled chicken thrown in... no flavor .. peanuts and onions not cooked... just bad!

Looking at the menu... I figured real Thai! I have ordered from real Thai places alot and I know what the food should look like. This place has watered down there curry! To almost a soup. The Tom Yum soup is all off. The massaman curry is completely off! The chicken was boiled and thrown in with the watery curry... jezz. The soup is all chicken broth!! No lemongrass.. so disappointed. I called and said I have eaten massaman so many times... this by far is the worst!!! If you have eaten Thai before than u will agree with me... if your first time.. u would not know. I am so upset I spent 14 bucks on lunch... I was excited cause I thought I was going to get the REAL thai... jezz.. this is American style.

Been a while since I was here. Came on a Saturday with a few friends for lunch right when they were open. They weren't ready for us, so service was a little slow and the kitchen took a while. Ordered mostly pad thai and fried rice, but also got the crispy fish, which is still one of my favorites even though it doesn't have a lot of meat on it.

Best dessert ever!!! Mango with sticky rice and coconut milk

I'm not sure where all these 1 Star reviews are coming from, but I was there a few weeks ago and the staff is NEVER rude and food was amazing! Try the Thai wine! (I'm sure the customers were the rude ones since this is bougieville Larchmont! I used to work in Larchmont and transfered because of rude clientele)

This is the best Khua Gai ever but seriously, wtf is this plastic doing here? :/ bad.
Alyssa A.

I live in Jackson heights and Larchmont , and I'm really happy both places have the two restaurants of Spicy shallot . I love your Khua Gai a lot...it's so far my standard for that dish and I always have my Lunch delivered every week.. But seriously tho...what's with this plastic thing mixed up with my dish? I almost swallowed and choked on it :/

I hate to give a restaurant 3 stars rating when their food deserves 4 stars. The 1 star deduction is for the service and the price. I met up with my girlfriend and her hubby on a Friday night after work. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived. We each ordered an entree, crab meat fried rice, spicy eggplant basil, and Pad See Ew with Tofu. I totally agree with the other reviews, the portion is definitely small with the price they charge you. We had to order a Panang Curry with Beef halfway during our dinner because we know the portion was not going to be enough. The curry comes with barely 5 slices of beef, and not much bell peppers either. Call me cheap, but I think that's too expensive unless those are some grade A beef. Service is not as nice as how the restaurant looks. We were chatting after dinner and we had the feeling that they want to get us out because they didn't wait much to give us the bill. Like I mentioned, the restaurant was not busy at all. At 9pm, the waitress told us they need to close so we need to pay. I am sure even in Mamaroneck, a thai restaurant wouldn't close at 9pm on a Friday night.

Papaya salad and Laab with rice noodles are my fav!

Thai Cookery Street Food has filled its spot, offering dine in, delivery, and pickup orders. Stepping inside of this high-class establishment with beautiful aesthetics that presented a well lite dining experience, through-out the restaurant, I found it to be a very relaxing and a welcoming environment. I was greeted and seated; the staff was very kind. I viewed the menu and chose Thai Crispy chicken rice bowl, the chicken satay, and a salad. The salad had a ginger dressing, and it was really tasty. I had the Satay chicken only because I tasted the Satay chicken at Boon Dee Moo Ka Ta. It tasted nothing like Boon Dee, so I found it the least and it was on the dry side, the Thai Crispy chicken was more on the bland side, but the jalapenos gave it a kick. This setting felt more like speed dating, instead it was speed eating. Everything was rushed and the timing of bringing out the food was way off; the food was brought out within minutes of each other. Maybe because it is Street Food, I mean, it's in the name. I had to rush eat so that the food would not get cold, but I failed. Maybe if I had a shovel, I could pack it in quickly. With a packed mouth, I desire to. Inspire more, Yelp more!

It's very chic, nice and clean on the inside and the guy at the counter was super helpful. I started with the chicken wontons which were soooo good, had a nice strong ginger and garlic sauce which was so beautifully flavorful. I got the veggie based pho since the beef broth had fish sauce in it (I have an aversion to any type of seafood) so the broth itself lacked some flavor which is to be expected but the beef was nice and thinly sliced, the vermicelli was great and the sauces were really good too. It was also served HOT which really cleared my sinuses and felt very refreshing. Overall a great experience and will definitely be coming back! Those wontons were definitely the highlight for me.

The soup dumplings were definitely the highlight. They make the dumplings right in the restaurant and you can watch them being made. The dumplings were flavorful and full of soup, and my son especially loved them. Six dumplings ended up being a good amount for us. The vinegar came in a dropper which seems ingenious - much easier than dipping. The chicken and broccoli was also very tasty. The chicken was soft and nicely velveted, and the portions were generous. The mapo tofu was okay -- a little saltier than expected -- but still good when eaten with the rice. The brown rice itself was slightly on the hard side. Service was very good. Our server, a young man, was attentive without being overbearing, which we appreciated. One thing to note: parking can be tricky since it's all street parking and there are a lot of nearby shops. We happened to come on a holiday around 3 pm, so parking was easy for us. Overall, good food, large portions, and friendly service. We'd come back again.
